Flights cancelled by airline for May and in spite of promises for full refund, still this company have not repaid my money. All I receive are generic emails stating how busy they are and empty promises. Certainly not an airline I would recommend for anyone wanting to visit Iceland as their customer service needs to be renamed Customer DIS-service!
Having everything planned and paid for a trip to Iceland , Icelandair just cancelled the return ticket, with no clear reasons.
Tried to solve the situation: once i bought the flight from a third party, i felt like a ping-pong ball between the enterprises. Travel agency was telling that Icelandair could give a solution; called Icelandair many times and they said that this measure would be taken from travel agency, mytrip which i already complained about.
Had to use the ongoing ticket and bought the return with another company. Meanwhile after using the first flight, asked travel agency for refund of the fight cancelled. Answer was undefined concerning the amount and that Icelandair would take to much time to receive a n answer. Very bad picture from both mytrip adn Icelandair , that thxs god doesnt represent the beautifull country of Iceland.
