I purchased the service it's been almost 6 days and I paid almost 24$ for a month. I follow all the instructions that they sent me but it keeps saying "firmware of your STB is outdated please update it", I sent 6 emails and no one helped me yet and they are not even refunding my money. if you have a mag box stay away from this company. Extremely bad customer service. Each agent writing the same email over and over but not finding any solution.

Tv runs fine when it runs. Butttt, if you have ANY issues getting a response via email as it’s the only way is non existent. They reply once every 24 to 48hours!!!! So u send an email and sit waiting. Once they reply and u respond, you wait again for 24-48hours. This goes on and on with every reply and respond. Also, they charge some AVO fee on top of taxes and fees. What that stands for? No idea?

I am livid! No phone number to contact a technician to get your box up and running. This is day 3 trying to get this thing online. Why not ask for all the information in one shot instead of emails back and forth.
Just activate the box already! Send my username and password! Why do you need a picture of the principle menu and where do I find it!?

I purchased a one month subscription last week, to use with my android box. Every time I contacted customer service, it took 1-2 days to even receive a response. Almost every response was from a different person, they all weren’t helpful and the service ended up not working for me (received an error message saying that the app they had me download was corrupt) I provided a picture of the screen with this error message twice. When I asked for a refund three different times, they kept ignoring that and asking me to do the same things I had already done. Finally today after I contacted my bank to stop the payment and cancel my credit card, I received an email from the icarus team saying that they cannot issue a refund because “the service is already in my name”. Avoid these guys, if the service doesn’t work you won’t get refunded and will wait days to receive their “support”.
UPDATE: icarus tv even went as far as to report my review, claiming that they couldn’t find me in their customer database, even though I provided them with my full name, customer invoice number, and the same email that they were still contacting me with and sending spam to. These guys are really another level of dishonest. Look in their Trustpilot profile, you’ll see that about 13 bad reviews were removed because they always claim the people weren’t really customers. I provided Trustpilot with screenshots of my experience so they put my review back online. I’m thinking unfortunately most other reviews got removed because the reviewers just didn’t bother to do this. Avoid these liars.

I have to say Customer Service at IcarusTV is one of best I have ever come in contact with. I am still a newbie in the Icarustv family of customers and have to learn how to really enjoy all it has to offer not only in English speaking countires but in other countries of the world.

I am fairly new to the TV box/live TV age and Icarus was very helpful and understanding. I could follow there instructions easily and got my package installed with only a few hiccups, which I caused. I would recommend Icarus for a live TV package.

After installation my + service started loosing networks, eventually a remote access installed a new programming options. That also quite working. The videos they refer me to miss subtle details. All I want is a refund, after all, 4 days of service a month isn’t cheap

One yr plus with Icarus. As some said I thought it was a scam $20 for all that but you will discover with time if you have not started to discover. Tv guide most of the time it's not there. Channel freeze.
Almost 2 month now back and forth with the same complain which now they say is cause by the box I purchased from them. They say is outdated and defective. Today they email at 7.14, I reply at 08.44 again at 14.10. so far nothing from them. Am so furious.
I paid my subscription, now useless cannot watch live program.
Don't let you fool like me. I think this is all scam.
It was too good to be true.

Just as an observer and no subscription currently, but looking for a service to buy. It seems the very(pee) poor reviews are all a "mystery" commenter that you don't have on file. Curious on some ones part??

I very much appreciated your patience with me as I am not very technical. Having my own box left me at a disadvantage as I had to reconfigure url and portal etc. Found a couple of emails in my junk folder which helped me resolve some unanswered questions. All I can say is that it's all in the details. It all became clear with the tutorials and very happy with quality of picture and the amount of programming. Thank you Amanda. Great job.
