Doing EUR 2m revenue per year through Hotelbeds, but unfortunately they don't have their operations under control. The last few months, 29 bookings were not in the system upon arrival at the hotel, their 'on the spot' phone number is often not answered, account managers don't follow up with issues, and their finance department has been outsourced to a very poorly operated Indian company.
We're planning on moving all business to the GDSs; they have much better accuracy rates than Hotelbeds.

Worst experience ever. I booked a hotel through hotelbeds and the hotel was closed and destroyed. And by destroyed I mean it had busted windows, a roof that was gone, etc. Wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy. They stranded me 7 hours away from my home. Customer service refused to pay for a relocated room. “Nothing is available” I’m typing this at 7pm in a Walmart parking lot as I plan to sleep here tonight and drive back home tomorrow. I’ll miss a week of work.

I booked accommodation for Holiday Inn London Kensington High St for the 1st Sep 2020. Because we are in a Pandemic and I cannot leave Australia I started cancelling my trip. This accommodation I couldn’t find where I had booked it through. I contacted the hotel and after messages back and forth I was told the booking was through HotelBeds. After emailed with them for a few weeks it wasn’t until the day before check in was I told I had to contact Profitrip. I contacted them but got an email from roomsXLL. I replied to them and get a reply back from Profitrip. I have no idea who I booked through because there was no email evidence. Only a voucher that was downloaded from Hotelbeds and nothing more. No communication from Profitrip, roomsXLL, Hotelbeds or Holiday Inn London Kensington High St during the pandemic about my booking. I supplied evidence of me trying to cancel my accommodation since July, no email back.
It’s poor form and the worst sent up I have seem for booking accommodation. Profitrip and roomsXLL and now ignoring me and profiting from people during the pandemic. Do not trust either Profitrip, roomsXLL, Hotelbeds or Holiday Inn London Kensington High St. They do not care about their customers. If they did I wouldn’t be writing this and I would have my money back

Hotelbeds is a 3rd hand in my booking between me and Naman Retreat Resort Danang. My request has not been solved, and they didn't reply my email about changing my booking. I quit and gave them my $600 booking. Never use this hotelbeds

Tried to get a refund for my holiday(which I'd paid for in full). Found out this company were used for booking as a middle man and hadn't paid the hotel. I'm now left out of pocket and cant rebook my holiday as this disgraceful company has it in their bank account!.
I would put -5 star if the option was available!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I made a reservation at a Hampton, after googling Hampton and my destination. Some how this crappy service got in the middle and handled my booking. Then I needed to make a change. That is not possible at the hotel or at hotel beds. I was stuck. This company should be forced out of business for its unethical practices.

I work for a hotel and this company is a total and utter waste of time. They book their guests with us but don't send the hotel any form of confirmation. The guests insisted that they have paid the agent but the agent doesn't send me anything. What happens if the guests leave the property without paying. The money will have to come out of my own pocket. Please avoid using hotelbeds. My advise is to book directly with the hotel although we do charge more, we always ensure fair practice.

I could go on and on, however I just perused the past reviews and my experience reflects the other reviewers.
Took forever to speak to a human, the message system hung up on me numerous times and continued to loop to the initial message after each prompt.
Once on the phone with a representative, they refused to help me with a refund on a cancellation due to COVID (I booked the trip months in advance and the card I used at that time is now expired). They also refused to let me speak with a manager. They said she was 'in a meeting' and there would be no good time to speak with her.
So, I guess I'm out $450. Easy come, easy go.

The only reason I am giving hotelbeds a 1 star is because 0 stars is not an option. My husband and I had to cancel our honeymoon to New York because of COVID. The Governor of New York put Minnesota on the 14 day quarantine list and since we were only going to be in New York for 5 days, we would have had to spend all 5 days inside our hotel room. I called Hotel Beds many times to only be put through a looping message and then eventually hung up on. There is no email address that I could find. I booked through Sun Country Vacations, and they said I would lose all $1408.78 because there is a no refund or re-booking policy. All I want is to be able to re-book my honeymoon for next July 2021. This is NOT right, it is unfair, and extremely poor business tactics.

Hotel-beds is horrible!!!! My Son had a reservation as a package deal with the airlines.. Great price and everything.. My Son missed his flight and wanted to change his date or get a refund.. Hotel couldn't do anything and they didn't have a number for Hotelbeds.. We had to look on Google for a number!!! Their number keeps looping you around and eventually hangs up on you!!! Luckily my Son was only out of $60... Hotelbeds is a complete SCAM.. We are reporting them to the BBB!!!

Booked hotel room on Trivago website on 2/29/20 for July vacation and got confirmation/hotel voucher from Cancelon. Contacted hotel directly to cancel due to Covid in June and was informed by the hotel that my reservation was cancelled by HotelBeds.com on 4/8/20 so I would need to contact HotelBeds.com. Emailed Trivago who states they are a search engine with many third party booking agents and hotels therefore I should contact my third party booking agency Cancelon. Cancelon’s telephone number is disconnected and it’s website has been deactivated. I have left several telephone messages for HotelBeds.com as a live person never answers. No one from HotelBeds.com have responded to my messages. I have been looking at reviews for both Cancelon and Hotelbeds.com including BBB and every single review has been terrible with many of them having had their reservations cancelled. Both Cancelon and HotelBeds.com are scams and Trivago is complicit in continuing their affiliation with them and should be considered a scam organization as well. Will never book through them again!!!

This is a horrible company. I work in a hotel. They managed to overbook us. When I called them, their automatic system hung up on me. There was no phone number for me to call the guest. I had to cancel the reservations in a town where there were very few, if any, hotel rooms. Stay away from this company.

They are a scam. Kevin , Mona and Daniel all say they want to help but cannot. All they do is keep your money when the hotel said they could change the dates. Shame on you. Hear everyone. If you see hotelbeds.com RUN RUN RUN

The ultimate worst company I have had the misfortune of being forced to interact with.
I work for a hotel and all I needed was the virtual card they use to pay for the room. It should have been no more than a 5 minute call including hold time. Nope. The first rep was completely clueless, she had NO idea what was going on. She did give me the card but could not figure out what the expiration date was but I learned after talking to the other rep that she was reading the date incorrectly. I enter the info and the card declined. She was unsure of why the card declined. Once more, the second rep told me that the amount I tried to authorize the card for was higher than what it should have been but could not for some odd reason tell me the rate so I could change it and check the reservation out. This entire ordeal took about an hour and a half just for me to get one measly step closer to where I need to be. The department I supposedly need to speak to is closed of course. This company is so mismanaged. I would not advise anyone to use this company to book a reservation just to save a couple dollars, it isn't worth it. It took me 3 hours one night just to find a number to even talk to an actual person. I wish my job would discontinue our relationship with this company.

Hotelbeds behaves like a criminal institution, don't do business with this company or other companies doing business with them. Once they receive your money, they don't give it back no matter what the situation.
With COVID-19 it has become even clearer. They invent everything to not give you money or a voucher. They promise everything but they do not keep their promises and leave you as a partner in the cold.

Booked using rewards points through my bank. Evidently they book through hotel beds. The hotel was cancelled directly and the room was not charged. My points were never refunded because hotel beds pocketed the money instead. Not able to get in touch with anyone through customer service. Terrible, terrible company! Will also be reported to BBB

I am a manager at a large scale hotel. EVERY time we get a reservation through Hotelbeds.com there is a problem. We are dealing with another one today and the poor guest has already had their money taken out of their account by this 3rd party, however that money was never transferred to us at the hotel for the room payment. Now this guest is at a loss for the amount they have already paid into the other company and I have wasted 1/2 of my business day jumping through hoops to even contact a representative for this 3rd party reservation system!!
I called the number provided [1(407)926-5344] several times and each time I was met with the same robotic voice stating that nobody was available or that the mailbox I was transferred to was unavailable. The last time I tried I was finally rewarded with a ringing number, but all the line did was ring; even after 15 minutes of letting the ringing continue nobody was there to pick up.
My professional advice? DO NOT USE HOTELBEDS.COM!!! Call the hotel directly to make your reservation- MOST large hotels will even price match what you see on Booking.com or Expedia.com! If they don't then at least you know you will still have a reservation by going through the hotel directly. Do not waste your time, money and energy by dealing with Hotelbeds.com folks!

Absolutely disgusting customer service! Hotel allowed cancellation at no cost as it was made by accident and it was cancelled within 30 seconds after the booking was made. HotelBeds who charged my credit card immediately keeps lying that hotel denied this cancellation despite the fact I have a written confirmation from them. HotelBeds is bunch of scammers who will still your money. Never book through 3rd party website because hotel rates are being distrubuted to thieves like this!

I have been charged for The Midtown Hotel in Boston for August, i have been trying to cancel since weeks. The hotel itself will not cancel because it was done 3rd party. I am Canadian, the conversion is even more money. Hotel Beds did the booking, and send no email or confirmation. I am endlessly trying to find the right phone number, but keep getting put on hold or machine messages. I just want to cancel and get a refund!!! I didn't even book through Hotel Beds, i went through booking.com, so needless to say, i got dooped out of my money!!! what a bunch of scammers.

I used to work for a hotel management company. Hotelbeds did not pay us on any of the completed reservations despite they already collect full amount from guests. There were no replies from their customer service or partner teams. After a couple of bookings from them, we have decided to stop using them as a partner completely.

We booked and paid through Booking.com but like others we never had a confirmation email. When contacting our accommodation the told us the reservation came from Hotelbeds.com. Booking.com are sending us round in circles because we dont have a confirmation and PIN number (never did) and we have no way of contacting Hotelbeds. Have used Booking.com several times and never had a problem, but never had to cancel anything before so who knows......wont be using them again though
