Super easy to set up my new car insurance. All done online and now I've the app I can just use that for updates etc.
Not had any experience with customer service so can't comment on that yet hence the 4 star review but I've no doubts my queries would be dealt with appropriately.

Mistakenly I forgot to cancel an automatic renewal of my car insurance. I had already taken out another policy prior to this date at a lesser price again with Hastings. Due to the coronavirus I was unable to contact them by email or telephone so wrote a letter asking for a cancellation of the automatic renewal policy and a refund of amount paid. It only took 7 days for a response to my letter and for a refund to be made. At this extremely busy time I am delighted to receive such a good service. Thank you

Easy to pay online, easy to understand policy wording.
Don't like the fact that you cannot change the auto renew policy....did think that this was illegal in todays world (just have to post myself a reminder in the calendar, for next year)
