Unfortunately it took over a month and two contacts with customer service to have the limerick store acknowledge my online order. When I then did go to collect my order it took 30mins to receive it from when I showed my confirmation email. The store assistant insisted that the item had not arrived and there was nothing he could do despite standing beside a stand full of the item I had ordered. After 40mins of me waiting while the assistant looked for my item it suddenly appeared when I asked to see a manager. Very disappointing.

Lorcan was so so so helpful! He stayed on the line with me for a very long time whereas other operators would have assumed that I was fine and disconnected. He actually stayed to the end and that has NEVER happened to me before with an online chat! In fact, two or three times I went back to check that he was still there and what do you know - he was! So helpful. Incredible. He waited while I phoned the store, went back and told him what they said, waited while I phoned them back, advised me as to what to do. Incredible guy!

The chat agent I spoke to today was fine (this review is not for him)...I am giving a bad review for the service I have recieved in general. I bought a macbook from harvey norman little island in May/June 2019 this year. out of nowhere the screen developed a grey strip through the middle of the screen. I was told on the day that I brought it back that this could take anywhere between 2 to 5 weeks to have it repaired and sent back to me. I was offered no replacement laptop to use whilst mine was being fixed even after advising the guys in shop that I used the laptop for my work. After arguing with them about this for about 15 minutes they finally said 'oh wait, actually we can give you a replacement whilst your is being fixed' so I assume one has to argue with the staff to get a replacement laptop. Lastweek I asjed for an update on the repair to which the guy said he would put a note on the system and call me this week to advise, which as I assumed would not happen. How does Harvey Norman expect people to send a new macbook they just bought, with a fault that was nothing to do with them away for upto 5 weeks without a laptop and think the customer will be ok with this? Worst Service I think I have ever had from anywhere
