In ordering a Halloween costume of NASCAR driver Elliott Chase for my 7 year old grandson, the experience was smooth "sailing" and the only online location where I could order it in his size.
It was delivered on time!!
I received it earlier that they promised....so that was great too.
This is an excellent company to order from "online"....I trust very few folks, however, you can trust their employees to follow thru and execute the order properly. Which is "big deal" today!!

I purchased a Harley Quin wig and an inflatable bat. I then found a cheaper better wig and a hard plastic bat at Party City, which was 10 min from my house and I didn't have to pay for shipping. The hard plastic bat was the same price as HolloweenCostumes's blow-up bat. I was very disappointed because I thought the main benefit of shopping online was to find better prices. Party City had better prices and better quality, so I wanted to return the two items back to HC.com. They told me they would charge me $6.99 for return label and 18% restocking fee. However, they LIED!!! The charged me 26% restocking fee. I WILL NEVER GIVE THEM MY BUSINESS AGAIN!!!

Poor, My first experience as a buyer was not good at all. I made the purchase on August 16 as a priority and it was urgent for me to really buy my costume because I had a party of 70's 80's for Saturday 24, the estimated day of arrival was for August 19 and they sent me an email Upon confirmation of my payment and order, they sent me an order number and told me in the same email that I would receive my tracking number soon. It was tuesday 20th and even I still didn't receive my tracking number so I was worried and sent an email that same day and another on wednesday 21st and they didn't answer until thursday 22nd, telling me that they had sent me an authorization form for my card that I never received anywhere to confirm my order and since they had no response from me they decided to cancel my order (without notifying me), I also never received a cancellation email of my order, they told me they had reimbursed everything since that day ( August 16) and it is the day I have not received my refund (August 27) in something that was not even my fault. The funny thing is that apparently they had not realized that my order must have been delivered from monday 19 until I sent the emails that I was worried, because they didn't even care to answer me until two days later and that was how the excuses began. Obviously I'm upset, there was no reason to cancel my order, they were just excuses from the customer service that seemed as if they had passed the delivery date and they have no more than inventing excuses to cancel the order, and I was more upset that they blamed me and told me that they sent me an email of the form I never received, canceled without apologizing or without trying to solve it or giving solution options after their error. The funny thing is that I still have my order number and I still don't receive my cancellation email and my refund. I put two stars because it really seems that the costume designs are cute, but it is something that apparently I will never know since I doubt very much to try again to buy in your online store due to this bad experience.

First of all I had watched the Hilarious Video ~....then I had to figure out what I would be wearing this coming Halloween 2019...You see we have over 400 trick or treaters at our door annually. Yes, it is "that street"...On the corner three houses down my neighbour scares the "bezzebers" out of them and so lately I have been dressing along the lines of Disney Princesses ~ this year I found an adult Moana costume and also ordered the necklace. It is PERFECT !!....looks like picture and size was great. I am excited to say I ordered it at the end of August and was packed well and shipped arriving early. This company throughly enjoys what they are doing and I would not hesitate to order from them again. PLUS ~ I got lovely Unicorn Hugs sent my way. You guys Rock!!! ~ Linda

The young man that I spoke with had all the answers!! I placed an order for a costume and could not find any information to track my order. With my phone number (i guess) The gentleman was able to tell me my name, what I ordered and gave me a tracking number. This kind of customer service is a rare find and I am so glad I found it here. Pay for Express shipping to get costume ASAP, yet the company doesnt get it to UPS in a timely matter, therefore you cannot get the costume when you need it. I paid for 3 day shipping; got it 7 days later, cant use it now, and have to pay 18% restock fee. This is a racket: DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE!

Usually when you make a mistake on your order and accidentally order 2 of the same costume, it's going to be a headache getting a refund or exchange. Not the case with HalloweenCostunes.com! When I realized I did this, I emailed customer service immediately and Ami removed one of the orders and recalculated my total the same day! I couldn't believe how quick and painless it was to correct my mistake. I usually shop at another costume site but this one will be my go to site from now on. They offered a discount initially and the costumes are more unique than other sites.

I have ordered full costumes from this company for 3 years now and every costume has been high quality. I've even won 2 contest. One order was to small and they shipped asap a larger size before even sending back the original. Recently I had a concern and they corrected it immediately and compensated me. The customer service is beyond accommodating. It's rare now days to feel 100% confident that you will get far better quality then the price your paying. 👻👍

I've called customer service three times and never had to press 1 for this or 2 for that ... and never been on hold too long either. Each time I received nothing less than excellent customer service and that is a rarity nowadays. The web site seems to have all the information you'd need to know about the products but if not you'll find customer service very helpful. Keep up the good work.

I have just went to purchase from this website but was appalled that the prices appeared to change by extortionate amounts depending on size. If I was a woman who could fit into an ‘XS’ I would only pay £56.99 for a costume. However because I am an ‘average-sized’ woman I have to pay £40 extra?
They cannot even use the poor excuse of using extra material (even though this would be a discriminatory reason in itself...) because the L and XL are still £25 less than the M size? I just find this completely baffling and unacceptable.
I have never seen anything like this and definitely wanted to raise this on Trustpilot. I will be staying clear of this website and will be warning others.

I ordered a 2T for my daughter which I thought would be big enough to fit a sweater underneath but I could barley do up the zipper, so I exchanged it for a larger size. I would think with an exchange I would not have to pay shipping again but I had to pay to send it back and also pay again to ship the bigger costume. Edit...I contacted customer service and they corrected the issue, it is nice to have a company care about their customers. I would highly recommend.

I would not have even scored a star if I could have. They advertise to say that returns are simple if you are not happy however what they don’t tell you until you want to do this is that they will deduct 18% from the amount you paid and that’s not even including the extortionate amount that you pay for shipping as it’s the only option available! So I have paid the £8.99 p&p thinking it’s ok, if it doesn’t fit at least I will get the £28.99 back for the costume. No. You will get 82% of that costume amount back. To top it off they do not even give you the address to send your return to and then say that they will deduct a further £10 from the refund if the courier needs to amend the address. Basically leaving you with nothing as long as they get their stock back. Absolute shambles. Even though I can not wear the costume as it is too big, I will not send it back at my further expense to probably end up with £5 back after spending £40!!
Seeing as I’m not able to reply to the companies response I have had to edit my original. I have been in contact about the return, asked for the address as it was not on the packing slip which I requested and I can no longer access to even print off. Would love to know what the address is in Swindon and the charge of incorrect address is on the returns options on the website.

Item was delivered very quickly. It was well packed in a cardboard box but sadly the back part of the 2 piece clone trooper helmet had a large crack in it.
I contacted customer services over a weekend so didn’t expect to hear anything back until Monday. However, not only did I receive several responses from the team, they also gave me the option of a refund or a replacement helmet, of which I took the latter as the costume was needed for several events.
Friendly, professional & prompt responses. Keep it this way & you’ll win more business than you lose! I think I may bite on that Teen Wolf outfit now!
