then you try to cancel because its been WAY to long they continue to say its canceled but STILL waiting for a conformation email AND THE MONEY

I ordered a medical device that was backordered and the purchase was cancelled without any explanation or followup as to why. After contacting customer service, I was advised that due to it being backorder the papypal charge was cancelled. I would have charged to another source. Why was I able to order knowing that a backordered item with PayPal had this issue? Checks need to be put in place to not allow PayPal to be charged on backordered items-siren I was told PayPal has a 5 day term. Item is now 15 dollars more and my original purchase price was denied by management. Item is still available for purchase on line. They did not want to honor original purchase price since they will make more money. Also, website specifically indicates I cannot cancel or return item. Truly in favor of vendor. They just lost a major account purchaser

My order took 3 weeks to arrive. I open the box and realized the item was to big. Trying to return it and called 4 times left 6 emails but customer service has to wait for Return service to reply! After a month and some days they send me the return information and gave me 15 DAYS to return. They wrote the return notice on December 17, 2019 but did not send it to me till December 30, 2019 there is no way I can ship this back in time unless I do one day shipping which I have to pay for!!!!! This place is a joke and a scam of a place!!!!!!! You were warned!!!!!!!!!!!

My company purchased one item from them several years ago, and they've been calling ever since. I've asked them multiple times to stop calling. Last week, I asked them to put us on their DNC list, and now they're still calling me again this week.
The item we purchased is fine, but I wish I had bought it anywhere else so that I wouldn't still have to talk to them every month years later. I've made it clear we have no need for their services, I've asked them to please stop in every way I know how. At this point it feels like harassment and I just want them to stop wasting my time.

We ordered a rectangle picnic table & benches for a client of ours on Beaver Island. We received the rectangular table and the benches. Then order a circular picnic table & a few more benches. We received the benches but not table so than we called they sent a replacement table, then two weeks later we received the circular table. Then we got the replacement table, which was A. a rectangular table and B. damaged when we picked up off the boat dock. We then called to send it back, but they wanted me to send pictures. When I went to send the pictures, it generated an error message. So, then I kept calling and finally after the third person it went through. But they told me they could only give me the picnic table at a discounted rate, the discount was $150.00 off. It originally cost $758.91 I emailed back and we do not want a damaged picnic table when could they come pick it up never got a response called back today just to get told by federal law you have 5 days to report it damaged. So, we now have a damaged table that we must pay $ 608.91 for.

Tried to do first order for wire storage racks and customer service is non existent. I had problems with on line order. No one called back or responded to emails.
I finally gave up . Prices seemed fair in my case, but they don't care about the customer.
Avoid this vendor.. go elsewhere... not worth any savings .. much wasted time.

After almost a month after ordering, my cabinet was delivered - with the wrong bins. For a week I have spoken to Global Industrial associates who have said "we'll get this resolved right away" and "I will email you right away", neither of which happened. On the 7th day I was told the replacement order was just placed and it will ship 8 days from now from the manufacturer. Again, no follow up email which was promised. Global Industrial does not stock anything and just places an order from the manufacturer for you. Had I known the service was this bad I would have gone directly to the manufacturer and paid the extra monies. Avoid Global Industrial. Once they have your money you will just get the run around, bad service, etc. And they do not approve negative reviews for posting on their website which is why it looks like everyone who shops there is happy.

This website does not post most negative reviews of the products being offered. This is why many products seem to have highly favorable reviews on this website but when crossed check with Amazon.com and others, ones sees the divergence. The shipping is also extremely slow. I do not trust this business.

RIP OFF!! Lies, short shipment, wrong product shipped, denial, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE.
I purchased $5,115.00 in racking 3 weeks ago. I was told it was all in stock and in the pictures you will see the sent me a shipping document indicating that all the product shipped complete. It did not, almost half the product is missing and as you see in the pictures they shipped a mixture of sizes. My warehouse receiving manger called them the same day to report the issues. The man at Global knew the order was shipped short, but he did not note it on any of the paperwork I received. Plus as you see in the pictures it is a huge mess because the racks cannot be assembled because the sizes are mis matched. The customer service person now wants pictures of the shortage, how do I picture a shortage. Their shipping person knows about the shortage. Terrible company to buy from and they have no idea how to get it right STAY AWAY!! I ordered for convenience they have turned this into a nightmare.

Bought $2,000 scrubbing machine and to find out they have no technical support and no one there could help. I'm stuck with a machine and cannot use. They use the excuse the item is an import.

I recently attempted to order a flushometer from this company on line. My first attempt generated an error when the system refused to accept the exploration date of my credit card. I re-entered all the information and got the same results. Clearly the order was not accepted. I tried again, using a different credit card. This time, I received no online confirmation that the order was accepted. In all three attempts, I received neither an online confirmation or a confirmation email. I went to a different supplier's website and had no trouble placing my order. Days later, I received emails from a shipping company indicating three packages from Global were on their way. I attempted to contact the company but was unable to do so. I refused all three shipments as filed a claim with the credit card companies when the charges appeared. My claim with American Express resulted in a credit, from the company, only for the cost of the product - the freight charge credit was rejected. As a result of this companies terrible website I will never do business with them and will tell others of my troubles.

Ordered 4 anti-vandalism garbage cans for our commercial building. Missing the anti-vandalism wire connecting the lid (as shown in the picture & video). Try to find out what happened w/both Sales & Customer Service @ Global Industrial & you just get the run around & non-answers. Weird way to conduct business for a company based in NY?!

I bought Deluxe Oscillating Pedestal Fan 30 Inch Diameter 1/2HP 10,000 CFM from this company. After putting it together I see that the fan blades are ALUMINUM. Really poor design to put flimsy blades on a 1/2 HP fan. It puts out the worst possible annoying sound even on low that I have ever heard. I turned the fan on and shut it off due to the LOUD noise. I contacted the company who informed me because I put the fan together, it's now used, even if the fan is horrible sounding. I they kept saying over and over was, by Caroline "SORRY FOR THE INCONVINENCE", but we aren't taking the fan back. You bought it......so sorry. In other words GLOBAL INDUSTRIAL WILL NOT STAND BY A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT, EVEN WITH A ONE YEAR WARRANT. BUYER BEWARE. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ANY COMPANY WHO WILL NOT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT OR HONOR THEIR WARRANTY.

Horrible system if you need to return an item. I called and got an RMA. I followed the instructions for the return. They first claimed they did not get it, however after I sent the signature confirmation they could not deny. Then it took over 6 weeks and a law suit threat to get the refund. The amount they refunded was short a few bucks also. BEWARE. They are just a middle man. Find the MFG and buy directly, as this company will suck your life away to get things right.

I ordered some file cabinets in January and was still waiting for them to ship after a month. I then called and was told they couldn't be delivered due to weather. I called each week for another month and always had the same status. I then cancelled the order. After another 3 weeks they shipped the order that I had cancelled. Its now April and I'm just now receiving a credit, not a refund, minus the shipping charges. I'm still dealing with their customer service to get the full amount, in refund.

Placed first order. Was asked to apply for open account so I did, which I would have done anyway. Waited 4 days and was denied with the excuse that "all first orders must be prepaid. Understandable but that should have been noted on the website AND the credit application. I replaced with a credit card, a day later I hear back and was told they cancelled the order and I needed to reorder it so it will hit the credit card. I did. The item I ordered says "ships same day". The second order was placed on the 9th and as of the next morning, the item still did not ship. I contaced customer service through Chat, and was told it was coming from a vendor. Do they have anything in stock at all? The rep checked with the vendor and she comes back with a tracking number and said it was shipped this morning. Before I replied back, I quickly ran the tracking number, and it was not even in the UPS system at that time. She had nothing to say about the fact that I was informed it would ship the same day, and it did not. I closed the chat, checked the tracking number again and then it appeared, lable created. That was all. As of 4:51pm, it still has no other information. I am curious to see if it will actually ship today. I will be submitting a chargeback for this. This company does not care one bit. I purposely place a small order when dealing with a new company, and this is the exact reason why. I'm done with this company before even receiving the product.

Horrible customer service. The tracking information on their website has not been updated for my order in two weeks. I was told Friday that it would be delivered that day and that I needed to wait until 7:30 pm for it to arrive. On a Friday. It didn't show. Then I was told it would be delivered Monday. It didn't show. I received a call on Monday from someone from their customer service team asking for more info about how I typically order. I asked if she would like to hear how my experience was. She said not really. They do not care about customers or their experience in the slightest. Stay. Away.

Told me prior to placing the order to send my sales tax exemption, then said to place the order and they would credit me back the sales tax. Days and days of run-around and one department not knowing what the others are doing. Worst company I have ever dealt with. Still don't have a credit and had to file a dispute. You don't even get an answer. Totally incompetent people working here and when they email they don't list their name or who to contact. Wish I'd of seen these reviews prior to ordering. You can't cancel an order because they don't respond!

I recently purchased two cabinets. The package was missing two long panels for one of the cabinets. Called the company several times but they didn't send out missing items nor refunded. They hung up on me twice, keep transferring and asked to wait. I waited for 8 days and they still asked me to wait. They blamed on me just signed on the delivery sheet without unpacking and checking all the items. There was no manual either. They wasted my time and money. I felt like I was asking for extra pieces for free. They didn't accept their mistake. I ended up ordering another unit because I was running out of time.
Worst customer service ever and very irresponsible.
Shame on them.

Received damaged cabinet. Tried to contact customer service and was caught in "all of our customer service representatives are busy" for half an hour. Finally received first email after 6pm when my office was closed which put us one day closer to their 5 day return policy. Bottom line, their customer service system is rigged so you can't return damaged items. You're buying a pig in a poke every time.
