Exceptional customer serviceMy 735xt broke outside of warranty and this has just been replaced and sent back to me. Exceptionally easy form to complete online, posted this Friday and already have the replacement on my wrist. What's happened at Garmin !?What's happened at Garmin !? I own several Garmin Products all associated with Golf, any previous issues I've had have been dealt with professionally and efficiently and this has been reflected in my reviews. But now I find that I have to return 1 x faulty CT10 sensor and OMG how many questions, emails and hoops to jump through for something as In expensive and small as this. Good replacements and serviceReading some of the Bad reviews, I am a little puzzled, I have owned several Garmin products now and have always had excellent service, to the extent when I have had products well outside warranty that have finally given up the ghost, or have been worn to death I have been able to replace them heavily discounted for a newer version. I am still using a ancient Edge 705 for example.My Fit Bit woudl fall apart every year or so, the Garmin? Several years old now, had to be replaced due to a faulty screw holding the battery in - replaced f.o.c. no quibbles for a refurb. Watches that keep failingMy first Forerunner 935 failed after less than 2 years. After much back and forth and several weeks waiting without a watch it was replaced under warranty. The 2nd one has also failed after a bit more than a year. Same issues with the altimeter (which seems to be an issue for many people) and watch shutdown during saving activities and losing all data. Garmin won’t replace this one as it’s been more than 2 years since the original purchase If you want something with a bit more longevity then look elsewhere. Bought another brand for around same price range nice mapping great unit wish i had not let it go with boat and got this garmin. Disappointing purchase and no way to even add maps. I own a lot of Garmin fitness and…I own a lot of Garmin fitness and Navigation products. They can be temperamental but are exposed to all year round use and weather conditions. I just wanted to acknowledge that the customer services team do try their best to resolve customer issues and have in the past been quick to replace items or send spares free of charge. I will continue to buy Garmin products as I know Garmin customer services will work with me to resolve issues rather than others like Apple who wont bother helping unless you’ve taken out their aftercare.
