Actually got the flowers i paid for but they added so many charges but the time i paid for it in... there was no deal. Call customer service and the phone just rang and rang for 20 mins. Then once it finally gets answered only a automated message no real person. So im passed upset now because i ordered 2 ballons .. only charged for 1 but recieved ZERO!

FTD sucks. Today was my 25 year wedding anniversary. I got to work at 6am and went online to look for an arrangement. Found one I liked. Placed my order. 5pm comes around and my wife comes home in tears thinking i forgot our anniversary.
FTD didn't have a florist who could fulfill my arrangement in the area but never told me either.
I've used them in the past flawlessly and what's nice is you can see the arrangement on line VS trying to guess what it looks like.
Never again. They lost a customer and I hope this helps others from making the same mistake.

DO NOT USE FTD!
I paid a lot of money for a bouquet and the photo of the actual delivery is not even close to what I supposedly purchased. Furthermore, I had to call them to get them to deliver it. I have contacted customer service three times - no response. You will be very sorry if you waste your money on this service.

What I experienced today, was unacceptable! I ordered an arrangement online, for a friend that lost her battle with breast cancer. I have had it happen once before, where an order was delayed, over and over again, so I did my due diligence, and called the toll free number, and also did 3, yes 3, chat sessions! The second to the last chat session, I was told that the florist said the order would be received by 4pm. Wen 4pm had come and passed, I opened up another chat, just to be told that the order was not received by the florist! Oh, and that you would give me an upgrade for free! This is the last time I am ever, going to use FTD again! BEWARE BUYERS!

Edit: FTD ended up sending a complimentary bouquet to a friend, so I am changing my “one” star to “three.” I still will not use them in the future.
I ordered flowers yesterday for a family member to receive on her birthday. Having recently lost her young mother to a painful illness, I knew the arrival of these flowers would truly brighten her day. My order was placed at 10:50 am. At 5:50 pm, seven hours later, I receive an e-mail that the order will be delayed by one day. I request a refund from FTD and scramble to contact a local florist, but it is too late in the day at this point.
The following day I contact FTD. Hoping to receive an explanation of where the issue occurred and why a substitution wasn't made to ensure the flowers were delivered same-day, as indicated under "Our Guarantee" at the bottom of my order confirmation, I contact FTD today. The first rep has zero empathy or compassion, when I simply want to know why they didn't just send a similar bouquet. I ask to speak to her supervisor--this supervisor is completely indifferent and repeatedly reminds me that I requested a refund at 6 pm the day I ordered the flowers and therefor the order was canceled. Talk about frustrating!
Realizing I am getting nowhere, I ask to speak to his supervisor. I've now been on the phone with FTD for more than 30 minutes, with no explanation of how they dropped the ball on my order and didn't substitute the arrangement so that the same-day order was fulfilled. The second supervisor takes no responsibility on FTD's part. She explains that they e-mailed a local florist, and then places blame on the local florist for not getting back to them in time. Can you imagine if this order was for a funeral? Why promise same-day delivery if you cannot deliver? She could have offered to have a small bouquet sent as a kind gesture. Needless to say, we will never use FTD ever again and highly recommend anyone reading this review to do the same. Go directly through a local florist. We were "gold" members, and won't be renewing after this stressful experience. Any $15 delivery fee is far more worth it than the stress and time wasted trying to connect with a compassionate person at FTD.

We wanted to send flowers to our friend who had emergency surgery. We selected a beautiful and expensive bouquet from FTD website early Friday afternoon with a guaranteed Saturday delivery. NO flowers were delivered Saturday. I called customer service and "spoke" with someone who clearly could only read from a script. They said customer satisfaction was their priority and they "found" a florist who could deliver the flowers "tomorrow". When I questioned a florist delivering flowers on Sunday, all they could do was repeat "they would be delivered tomorrow". Clearly they have no idea what I was saying and they were only reading from a prepared script. I even received an email saying they would be delivered on Sunday. But no flowers were delivered on Sunday. I am calling my credit card company and denying the payment. I am embarrassed that all our friend has received from us are apologies for FTD not honoring their commitment. I will never use FTD and will tell everyone I know about this experience. FTD should be ashamed.

Save your money! I ordered a funeral arrangement piece. The picture looked great and the ordering process was super easy. Unfortunately, the product that I ordered and paid for was not worth the money at all. The arrangement I paid for and ordered based on the picture and basically I received 4 flowers in a vase. I was completely mortified, I sent this piece because I was unable to attend to funeral. The worst part is it came recommended from the funeral home. Save your money and shop somewhere else.

They say you can contact them by email, tracking or calling, but calling is the only way to get a response. While the first order of business is an apology, it doesn't actually stop the same issue from happening to other customers (An apology usually means someone regrets something and moves or resolves to fix it or to stop it from happening in the future, but not at FTD). My experience was that I ordered flowers to be delivered on someone's actual birthday which was a Monday. About an hour or so later, I figured that was awkward and wouldn't it be better to have them delivered the Friday before so they could be enjoyed over the weekend. When I sent the email request, there was a notification that a rep would contact me the next business day--they didn't, so I had to call. The rep said no problem, she would notify the carrier. Then on the Friday the flowers were to have been delivered, I hadn't received a call from the recipient, so I used the Tracking Order section of the FTD website (my order and emails, all transactions were done online) which gave a turnaround time of 24hours--nothing happened, so I had to call. It's like nobody knew I changed the delivery date. They have a policy which allows a good bit of wiggle room for just these types of occasions. My guess is that they happen a lot. There is no receipt given for online orders, so complaining on their website ensures you get no Verified Buyer tag. Underneath the order information though, there is a statement that says they try to respond within 48 hours. That's completely different from the other timelines, but I can assure you that nobody contacted me within 48hrs on anything. My recommendation is that you never use FTD, but if you do, realize you are just giving them your money and letting them do whatever they want in the hope that it will produce a positive result. Don't get your hopes up and don't expect a refund.

Ordered flowers for my daughters birthday, the amount I saw on my bill and the amount charged were two different amounts, I sent a live chat, never heard back. I inquired on the day it was supposed to be delivered and was told they couldn’t secure a local florist so it could be delivered the next day. When was I going to be contacted? My daughter was going to be gone the next day. I canceled the whole order. Bad customer service.

OK, I'm kicking myself for not looking at all these bad reviews before ordering. It was a FTD offer thru Groupon. Never again. I was cool being a day late bc it was not a special occasion but then we're into the second day and I can't get a response from FTD, by phone, chat, email, nothing. Lesson learned. Absolutely awful experience - if you want flowers delivered on the day you choose - DO NOT USE FTD. This is the 3rd time they have contacted me the day of the planned delivery to say they didn't have the flowers available. Their customer service person did not speak English well, I was on hold for ONE HOUR. ONE FULL HOUR and then some and they still couldn't fulfill my order. But they'd already deducted my money. Now I just have to see if they actually refund me. TOTAL NIGHTMARE. Avoid at ALL COSTS.

They were going to send flowers to the home after I emailed them the address. After two more days, got an email that the order was cancelled. Poor service and I will never use FTD again. Will stay with local services to handle in the future.

I ordered this particular bouquet (on left) for the memorial service for Betty Taylor in Independence, MO and I even upgraded to the deluxe. The picture on the right is what was actually sent. Most of the lilies hadn't even bloomed and I paid a total of $112 for this.
I am extremely disappointed in this arrangement and I will post my displeasure on your website and Yelp. I will never order flowers from ftd again. Shame on you for sending that arrangement. I am so embarrassed.

Terrible service!! Ordered online with the info needed to deliver flowers to a hospital in North Georgia (1800flowers had no service there).I got a call from an 800 number that left no message. When I called back I got the IT department of FTD. This was the best contact I had. He transferred me to customer service who proceeded to "bait and switch" me to an arrangement I couldn't see (the florist didn't have the flowers). I got a delivery confirmation later. The next morning I got a message they needed more info. I called and was asked to provide more info ( I had the order number) than I have to provide to get medical records. They said the flowers would be delivered today and I would get a delivery confirmation. I asked what good their confirmation was. I told them if they couldn't figure out how to deliver the flowers to cancel the order and refund my money or I would dispute the charges.

I ordered flowers for a friend in memory of the loss of their spouse 5 years ago. The anniversary of that day was a Sunday so I requested Saturday delivery and paid the $29.99 fee for Saturday delivery. FTD shipped it UPS GROUND - Monday delivery. FTD tried to blame UPS for the delay but it wasn't UPS's fault it was shipped Ground. FTD CS basically couldn't give a s**t. Refunded the shipping fee but that doesn't solve the problem of it being delivered a day late!!! Will never use FTD again. Ever.

I placed an order three weeks ago to have delivered tomorrow and at 5:30 pm they email me to tell me they couldn’t secure a florist and have to cancel my order. This is information they should have known well before the day before mother’s day, a florist should have been secure when I was sent a delivery confirmation, and now it’s too late to call anyone else. I am never using them ever again, I look like a total inconsiderate jerk to my mother in law and now I have to send an e-gift card that looks like a complete afterthought.

Would never recommend! My boyfriend and I both sent flowers for mother’s day. One did not arrive. The other said it arrived the day before it did and looked NOTHING like the payment picture was much smaller and used cheap flowers and the cut and arrangements looked very unprofessional. FTD would not refund. I’ve used other florist and get 5x the quality for the same cost. Never use!

I ordered a flower arrangement for my mom's birthday. It was never delivered and they didn't even have the decency to let me know. When I called customer service I was on the phone for at least a half an hour on hold and finally got a representative to put me on hold for another 10 minutes while she checked into the order.She came back and told me 'oh sorry" the florist in the area could not deliver.when you place an order they shouldn't say they can make a delivery when they don't even have a florist that does that service in the area. Then customer service said we will refund your order, oh that was a big help, I'm so glad I order flowers from you. They don't even try to satisfy the customer. Don't ever use them!

I purchased the "Sweet Surprises Bouquet" from FTD Flowers. The website allows you to select good for $40, better for $50, and best for $60. I selected "best" hoping it would be close to the size presented in the picture. The total costs with all fees was $88. My fiance received the bouquet from a local florist affiliated with FTD within 2 hours of ordering which was nice. However, the bouquet contained 3 red roses, 3 white roses, 3 white mini carnations and filler. That is it! The flowers were very poor quality. It definitely appears the local florist received a notice of the order, grabbed an old bouquet from their shelf, and delivered it.
I believe if I went to that same local florist and paid $88, they would have been embarrassed to hand me that bouquet. I do not recommend ordering from FDR since they cannot control the product that is being delivered.
In addition, I contacted FDR customer service by phone without an answer, and they have never replied after I filled out the form on their website. My assumption is customer service is just extremely back-logged due to a high number of complaints.

Wish I saw this review site sooner. I am extremely disappointed in their service today.
I had ordered a same-day delivery at 10am and called in around 3 pm to check on the status of my order (since I hadn't heard anything so far) only to find out from the representative that the order cannot be filled and they need to locate a florist and it will be delivered tomorrow. I paid for the same-day delivery service and all I get is a sorry and a flower upgrade. The same-day delivery charge basically covers the upgrade so what's the benefit to that?? Today was a special day and the flowers needed to arrive today... I'm so very disappointed in FTD.com.

My aunt passed and her funeral was this past Saturday. My husband and I chose a basket with flowers that look beautiful on the site. But this was not what was delivered not even close. I did not attend the funeral as I lived more than 2,500 miles away. My sister who was there told me it look like it came from a 99 cent store. Very unsatisfied I will never use FTD again. At times like these you put trust in professionals. So much for that!!

Ordered flowers for a birthday surprise on a Wednesday for a Thursday delivery. I called numerous times to check on delivery never speaking with an American. Everytime I spoke with customer service they would tell me the flowers were out for delivery and they had contacted the recipient by phone BS. I think FTD is a total scam. I WILL NEVER use them again nor recommend to anyone. Hopefully with all the complaints. They will go out of business. They need to receive negative Star status

I had a bad experience with this company that I hope no one ever has to go through. On Monday, May 6th, I placed an online order for a flowering plant for Mother's Day. The plant was scheduled for delivery on Saturday, May 11th. I received email confirmation shortly thereafter. Three days later (May 9th), I received another email from FTD with a UPS tracking number for my order. When I entered this tracking number in the UPS site, it indicated that my package (flowering plant) was in transit and would not be delivered to its destination in Florida until the day after Mother's Day (May 13th). In a follow up call to FTD, I inquired why FTD did not process my order until 3 days after I submitted it online and why they never notified me (either by phone or email) that the delivery would not occur on the date I requested. The customer rep with FTD could not give me a definitive explanation to those questions and just kept repeating to me what I already knew...that the delivery would be made the day AFTER Mother's Day and there was no way to change it. Their rep could not even tell me the florist that handled my initial request within the zip code of where my mom lives and why they pushed my order out to a warehouse in Pennsylvania where UPS was to ship my mom's plant from. Worse yet, FTD refused to give me any kind of refund for the mess up. I will NEVER do business with FTD again. The incompetence I experienced with this company is beyond comprehension. No online order should take a week to be delivered, no matter how "overwhelmed" the florists that handle the orders are. If there is a problem, it's the responsibility of an FTD florist to contact the person who initiates the order to inform them as soon as they know the delivery can't be made on time. The negligence on their behalf is totally unacceptable.
