Just thought I'd add to the 1 star reviews. Personally, I'd like to thank all of those involved at FlowMotion. You've taught me a couple of very valuable lessons:
(1) Don't fund other people's 'businesses' via Kickstarter. This is the second product I've "bought" on Kickstarter. The first one (the Oi bell from Knog) promised the earth and ended up being massively underwhelming (although at least I received it, eventually...). And the second one was the Flowmotion joke.
(2) Don't fund other people's 'businesses' via Kickstarter. There's a reason why there are tried and tested ways of funding development costs. For example, venture capitalists are in a much better position to do insist on proper disclosure and do the necessary due diligence (and therefore assess all of the risks). They don't have to simply rely on lens-flare promo videos of products that you'll never receive...
Anyway, I've wasted enough time and money on these clowns, so I'll stop there. I'm off to buy a decent second-hand DJI gimbal on eBay, for less than half the money I wasted on Flowmotion.

Well that's the breaks when you back a crowdfund. I gave up and bought myself a zhiyun smooth 4 this week anyway and I did a lot of research into it. They have really come down in price and I'm pretty sure its better than the Flowmotion was going to be since it integrates with Filmic Pro and is packed with easy to use features.
Shame really. I can see these guys tried so hard, but maybe were naiive about business. I hope they get a break. Its only money, You can get more money but your mental wellness is always the most important thing.

Read this if you want to know how you get your money back.....
Stop emailing with this company. Forget them completely. Call the number on the back of your credit or debit card and ask to speak to the disputes/chargeback department. Tell them exactly what happened, that you want a refund (assuming you do) and that you have tried working with the company directly to get your money back to no avail. Save any and all correspondence you have had with the FloMotion company as proof that you tried resolving it on your own. They will automatically credit the card you used and give you your money back. They will open a claim and will contact flomotion directly in an attempt to resolve this. We all know FloMotion won’t so after 45 days (maybe less) the credit on your card will become permanent and you will have your money back. This is called a chargeback and you as a consumer need to use it to your advantage especially when you have been wrongfully charged full price for a product that you never received.
Source: I just did this and it worked. If I wasn’t married to a broker in the credit card industry I would have never known what a chargeback is. I’m simply doing my part to educate all of you in case you were not familiar of this resource that is available to us all.

Have never received the product.
Paid for in good faith, received several emails about delays.
No product, no refund, no support and finally an email to say the company is shutting down.
Very expensive lesson, should have bought a real product from a reputable store, not a well marketed product that was never delivered by a now defunct company.

Ordered July 2018, Paid via Credit Card.
Regular communication of delays but saw they were still taking new orders which annoyed me so decided to request refund in May 2019. Informed no refunds will be paid until August due to financial challenges. July 2019 - Bankruptcy Declared.
Sent all evidence of purchase & communication to Credit Card Section 75 & received refund in 2 weeks.
Never received the product but others here mention product faulty/disappointing. No more buying crowdfunded products.

Don't put your money here. They've finally owned up to not having any and not shipping anything - over a year after my order was supposed to come through.
There are various other products out there now, spend your money there.

Terrible service. Push back for delivery of product and then when requesting a refund I am told 45 days to get my money that they have had for 7 months will now take an additional 4 months. Very disappointed and unacceptable service.

If I could give 0 stars I think we all would. Reading all the reviews we are all in the same boat.
I ordered and paid upfront on August 2018. Delay after delay which you can accept to a degree. I last sent a complaint email on February 14 2019, with a response saying there are delays of Chinese New Year and that it would arrive April. I have had other things in my own own home manufactured on order from China - it simply doesn’t take this long to manufacturer this type of product, period. Now I read here they are having ‘financial problems’ with it looks to be 90% of customers who haven’t received their flow motions..... did they ever actually intend on producing this or was it the intent to never actually manufacturer in the first place...who knows.
We were all sold a lie and broken promise after promise is not good enough. I believe everyone on here should consider getting together for a class action.

I ordered this product in April 2018. My order number was #1067. Paid for the Flowmotion ONE and an additional extension pole in full, €264.
Like everyone else I was showered with emails about how the Flowmotion team was sorry about the delays over and over again.
As a business owner myself, I understand that sometimes things doesn't go as planned but I'm still baffled about the vast amount of people who seems to never have recieved their product, even though it's been paid already.
Making mistakes is human, everyone does it, but it's not acceptable to have such poor planning that literally thousands of paying customers are left with nothing but an email with a shrug and an apology in it.
Shameful and disappointing.

Fraudulent company. They have had my money for a year. With just a few email updates complaining of their inability to work with factories overseas, they still have not shipped. And can't ship until August. Except, they gave me ship dates before and did not ship. So, not sure if August is still real. They also blamed Chinese New Year's. This is a yearly event all factories and customers work around. Like many Kickstarter companies, they use your money for something else. Won't even refund my money.

Just another that received a disappointing email... I placed an order withb FlowMotion back in April 2018. After all this time I can only assume they took the money and run. Has anyone even received any of these? I wonder how many they made vs collected money for... Was my first Kickstarter campaign support and my last. Keep your money close don't trust people with an idea an no idea how to build a product.

Same bad experience as everyone else.
Bought it in May 2018 and ever since then they've just made excuses and delays.
Finally, I asked for a refund and they promised it within 45 days - now they are saying that because of their "financial troubles" they can't confirm when they will refund me my money - if at all.
I will approach my credit card company to see what they can do.

Waiting for my device since end October ‘18 after service people ensured me that delivery issues has been solved.
Never received anything ever since. Had to sent update requests and did receive 4 delay messages afterwards.
I finally decided to cancel my order due to lack of believe and trust I their way of working, servicing customers and simply delivering a promised product.
After waiting for 7 months for a device I now received a messages that it will take up to 3 months to get my refund.
Never ever buy from this company! Worst online experience ever since my first online order in 1999.

Worth the wait.
As with any startup pre-order service, the waiting times can vary.
I got mine after 6-8 months, and I'm so glad I ordered.
I work on a boat, doing fishing charters and I was finding it so difficult to get stable footage with the waves of the sea.
It's easy to use, I played around with mine for about a day and worked it all out. It has some great features and results in amazing video footage, you can set the flow motion to focus and hold on one object and you can move around, the object can move and it will stay fixed on the object.

Same story here. Ordered in December LAST YEAR. First delay was Chinese New Year (how was that a surprise- they have one every year)... Every delay they say 1-2 more months. Patiently wait only to be told another 1-2 months. If you want a simple refund, that'll be 2-3 months! Terrible, terrible experience with this company. They won't last treating customers like this. Look, just be honest. YOU set the delivery date(s) and YOU are the ones not making YOUR own set deadlines. That infuriates me. This is a lot of money to be tied up on failed promises. Don't order- there are many other better options out there. Super disappointed.

I ordered In Nov 2018 got tired of all the BS and excuses. Filed a complaint with PayPal and it was approved and got my refund. I would only pay iffy or new to market products thru them as you have 6 months to file a complaint. If you paid thru them file I asked that their account be closed for fraud if more people do it they will listen.

Horrible business! Delays upon delays. Excuses and more excuses. Waited 45 days for a refund. Then told it will be delayed further! Will let all my k's of Insta followers not to go here for products as you will not get any satisfaction. I want my refund!!!

It’s an excellent product! You can record videos, just like the professionals just by having the device! It’s crazy good, even when you are running with it! Smooth!
Costumer service has been great since the beginning. Quick response and always very helpful.
