I checked it in in Zagreb and had a layover in Cologne, and no one can tell me in which city the suitcase is or when it's going to be flown to Lisbon.
Eurowings tracer is useless, it doesn't give me any updates and you're not picking up the phone. I am literally waiting at the moment for my call to be answered and have been on hold for more than 30 minutes twice today. Your social media agents are just as useless, they simply redirect customers to an email address that apparently no one is checking.
So far, the only reply I got was the following automated macro:
"Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
Thank you for your request registered under the following Ticket ID:420736
Resolving your request and answering questions are a top priority for us. A member of our support team will follow up with you in a timely matter to resolve your inquiry.
Currently the processing may take up to 4 weeks, therefore we kindly ask you to refrain from further status inquiries.
You can track the status of your delayed baggage under (link).
If you would like to submit additional documents or information on an existing inquiry, we kindly ask you to use the reply function of your email program. Please submit copies of your documents as email attachments.
Thank you for your understanding."
The process cannot take 4 weeks, it cannot even take 4 days as I need my luggage back as soon as possible, for obvious reasons. I had the same problem on the way there but was dealing with a far more competent airline who was able to deliver my bag ON THE SAME DAY. You didn't even put in the information on the tracker that I had taken a flight from Zagreb to Cologne and were only trying to trace my luggage back to the flight from Cologne to Lisbon.
In the meantime, I'm trying yet again to get connected to a support agent but none of your lines seem to be working.
I will keep sending you "further status inquiries" on all channels available, including Lufthansa's, until I get a concrete answer on where my bag is and when it will be delivered.

on the website it says they have 24h canccellation policy,
but actually when you contact the call service, they say that for the cheap flights they dont!
now have a wrong ticket from New york to europe. 400 euros is not so cheap.

A few days ago we flew from Las Vegas to Dusseldorf with Eurowings flight EW1173. Booked with a travel agency the Lufthansa flight LH5211 was operated by Eurowings.
The seats were new, but very thin and overly sensitive. The backrest (with the screen) in front of my was constantly moving, even if the person in the seat was only moving her head. The backrest of my partner could not be locked in an upright position - the flight attandend just replied (in German) "it seems broken. Bummer!" and walked away. She did not even care to report / write down the seat number.
When the flight attendents went through the cabin selling earphones for € 3,50 and blankets for € 4,50 I realised that Eurowings is operating international flights below the standard other airlines had established. Call me smug or overly particular but when I asked for a Coffee and a Coke at the same time, the flight attandent told me, that she could only give me one drink (and a cup of water if I wanted any). We had the smart fare.
All in all I am disappointed because I thought with a Lufthansa booking, the service and standard on international / longer flights would be comparable to other airlines. Eurowings did not answer my expectations. In the future I will try to avoid longer flights with Eurowings.

Their website malfunctioned and booked the incorrect date for me to travel. I tried calling the international customer service line which charges $1 per minute rate and was on hold for 20 minutes, no one ever answered. Spoke to the customer service person via Facebook, less than one hour since the booking went through and they said it would be another $70 fee if I wanted to change the ticket.. to the correct date which I had tried to book originally. I called the local US Lufthansa number and they hung up on me when I mentioned I booked through eurowings, which they own them and book flights for them. Awful experience without any resolution and I am out $200 for a flight I am not even in the country to take.

Basically left me with 7 days to find a flight to Germany and also stole my money. Useless customer service also. I'd read up on using claim services to get your money back or compensation before using these useless people

Watch this airline its Ryan Air all over again!
We received a Text on the day of our flight to Dusseldorf from València saying please check your carry on bag in at the counter for Free! But it was going on another plane in Dusseldorf to Salzburg so the was checked through to Dusseldorf
At the gate we were told we had to pay 30 euros or our bag would be off loaded and we could not then travel. What a Con they are tricksters ! The interesting thing was the other passengers carry ons were tagged and checked in at the gate for Free by putting the bag on a trolley before embarking the aircraft. What a con!🤮

I can’t be leave that a company that operates in a lot of countries only has a phone number for its German customer. People from other countries would only reach them by making a call to Germany. You should not operate in other counties if you are not accessible to all counties.
By the way the email service is the worse I am still waiting for a call back or a reply to my email from last year when they delayed the fight for 5 house.
Do not fly with them

I declined to reserve a seat. Ticket stated that I get allocated a free random seat upon check-in. But when I checked in, the website said that free seats are not available and I have to reserve one for a hefty 18 Euros now. Tried to call their service line, which told me "waiting time 3 minutes" but after half an hour I hung up. Later they told me (twice) that they can't refund the 18 Euros and that I should've checked in at the airport to avoid the reservation fee. a) Why doesn't the website tell me this when I try to check in? b) Great idea, playing with fire, their overbooking policies are well known. To me that's theft. They sell me a ticket with a supposedly free random seat and then make me pay 18 Euros.
I should say that I've used them a couple of times with mixed experiences (a few delays up to 3h, but also smooth experiences) and wouldn't have thought, until the latest experience, that they're worse than anybody else, but I won't give them 2 stars because stealing from me shouldn't have the effect that I improve their average rating thank you very much.

Unbelievable bad customer service: Reservation done on their website hat the correct billing name but a typo in the passenger name.
Had to pay 70 € to change + fare difference. The word "Kulanz" is foreign to them.
Never book at their website, always use cheaper alternatives.

We booked flights with Eurowings in May 2019 choosing the Smart Fare option as it included a suitcase and a drink and snack.
On 1st September they emailed us, again confirming the fact that we had drinks and snacks included.
However on our flight the purser very curtly informed us that we couldn’t have a drink or a snack then gave us a card which explained that they had stopped this on 4 June. No apology was made.
If they had stopped it on 4 June why didn’t they email to tell us? Also why email on 1 September to confirm we had drinks and snacks?
That was one of the main reasons we booked the Smart Fare and I feel unfairly treated by them.
We hadn’t budgeted for food and drink on the plane and are now out of pocket.
I’ve emailed to ask for a refund of some of our fare which I hope they will respond positively to.

Worst Airline periodtttttt.
@Trust Pilot a new feature request - allowing us to rate these kind of companies negative just to see how poor they are. Being economy airline doesn’t even give them the excuse to be this poor. Absolute JOKE!

Me and my girlfriend booked a trip to Mauritius with Eurowings via Munich. The fare offered was really attractive and I think is a pro for the company. Being a low-cost, any additional service needed to be purchased at an additional fee, something which we are OK with.
Pre-booking of the meals show be open up to 24h before and not 72h before. The entertainment selection is very limited and their internet package is way overpriced.
The flights were smooth and on time both ways, the aircraft well kept but some of the crew members were rude, like they were annoyed and didn't want to be there. Improving their manners goes a long way and doesn't cost a thing!

Check in at Heathrow was a nightmare. No one actually works for eurowings. The employees have been sub contracted out to a private company and no one can answer any questions, and no one will accept any responsibility saying “ it’s not us, we’re not eurowings. But no, no one from eurowings actually works here. You can call their corporate office”.
44 gbp to bring a 20 kg bag on a transatlantic 10 hour flight.
Flight was delayed for 1 hour.
They gave us a really hard time about not having a tourist card to go to Cuba. Then they said they would offer them at the check in desk upon departure. Yet they ran out. But they still gave a hard time because we didn’t have them already! Even though they should have had them for us.
The icing on the cake is that they charge 10 euros to use their entertainment system on a 10 hour flight.
I understand why their employees commit suicide. This company is a horrible machine.

I read a few horror stories here and still decided to book with them; never again. Read this and be warned!
It's been four weeks since my wife and I were denied boarding because our connecting flight was overbooked. What sense does that even make? You make it all the way through the airport and right when you're scanning your boarding pass you can't get through. No email, no call, no message from Eurowings. Just stuck somewhere without any immediate help to get money for a hotel or for food.
Now, 3 weeks since we sent an email with expense claims and STILL NO REPLY. How much does one have to ask for? What is the bare minimum of decency that one has to request from an airline? Can you please respond to my email and my petition?

I've flow with Eurowings regularly from Heathrow to Hamburg.
Nearly all of the flights have taken off and landed within an hour of scheduled times.
Flights are frequently delayed, regardless of who you fly with. Eurowings staff are generally happy, friendly and efficient.

Munich to Bangkok.
Honestly I can not understand these bad reviews...my experience on my flight from Munich to Bangkok went without any issues at all...the flight was delayed 20 mins but made up the time by arriving 15 mins early. The cabin was clean, the flight attendants were ver happy and polite. The meals were not perfect but I expected that so I used one of the restaurants at the airport before boarding. The drinks were free and plentiful no need to ask for another glass refill, the attendants were very efficient. I guess the moral of the story is if you buy a ridiculous cheap flight don't expect 1st class service. I have flown almost every airline to Bangkok and this is way above expectations.

Avoid Eurowings, unless the price is EXTREMELY attractive.
They have lost my luggage and could not relocate it in 9 days! They totally brushed me off with unanswered e-mails etc. and even after finding my luggage, they insisted not to deliver it to my temporary address during my vacation in a foreign country (as if it was my fault to lost my luggage!) in which I ended up driving 300 kms to the airport and picking it up by myself.
The funny part is that my vacation was for 10 days and I could not use even a single piece in my luggage. I am still struggling to get compensation for the expenses I had to make during this horrible 9 days, which I am not very optimistic about it.
This was my worst vacation experience ever.

Delayed flight and lost suitcase.
Customer service number pointless as no one ever answers. Only received very occasional, unhelpful emails with progress.
Would not recommend, even if it means paying a bit more to fly a different airline

I got an SMS about four hours before flying that the flight was cancelled and I can rebook or cancel it. in German. all in German, finally get to call them and it is in German, recorded message I have to pay to phone them. Finally a German person tells me I can tell them to give me a hotel in Munich. Call them and ask for a hotel and get told to book it myself. Never any reason for the delay. Get a german person to help me rebook a flight on my phone, Leave next day 2 hours delayed. I claim compensation. FInally get a wooly answer about schedules and European courts but they will pay for my hotel.

Flight to Düsseldorf was cancelled at last minute but no reason provided by airlines as to why flight was cancelled. Flight to Hamburg had dangerous landing with lot of turbulence. Suffering from flight sickness now. Absolute chaos after flight cancellation, unable to rebook tickets or check in to flight. Only way is to get to airport and go to EuroWings desk. Even EuroWings staff don’t know why flight was cancelled.
