Still waiting on our passes. When we purchased on the 8th, they said would be here by the 17th. Then got an update it would be the 21 (a Saturday night). Then it changed to the 24th, (Christmas eve). It is the 22nd now. And the tickets are coming from Utah to NC.
We are hoping we will have them then as we leave the 26th. Shipping advised us there was jo way to pick up from Fed Ex. As they are to be delivered by USPS. So we are in limbo as to if we will receive our passes before we leave.
And we paid $17 shipping to get them. A 50 cent stamp would have been here already.

The option to change the website to AUD (from USD) didn't appear for me until after I had bought the ticket and signed in. Ended up costing me about $60 more in conversion fees and international transaction fees than it should have.

Once I made my bookings on trains within Spain I discovered that the Eurail Spain Pass plus the booking fees I needed to pay saved me no money at all compared to just booking individual tickets. My best option would have been a Renfe pass.
Also, no e-ticket option. Still have to rely on paper. Went through a less convenient process for no benefit.
No savings, not convenient. Wouldn't do this again.

First, creating the account to check out was a pain; I chose to log in with Twitter, entered the extra information and got an obscure error message saying "Account pending registration". Multiple searches later, I still had no info but I was able to log in after a while. Why not have a simple activation e-mail like any other site instead of having a delay? Afterwards, the navigation was a mess, I kept getting logged off, asked for my cookie preferences over and over, had to refill my order several times as even logged in I couldn't see my previous shopping cart. I finally got to the payment stage by disabling my ad-blocker, but even there there was trouble as the "buy" button would not enable after my credit card info was entered. In the end, I had to use another browser without any security and privacy features enabled (such as disabling third party cookies) to be able to complete the process. But that wasn't the end of my troubles: I started getting spammed by messages saying I had passes "gathering dust" in my cart! The system apparently suddenly found all the previous failed attempts and started to send mails for each of them. I had to log back in and empty the shopping cart to stop the flow of messages.
I really hope the web site experience does not reflect the quality of the train service.

The better way to improve your service is that the reservations where always online and not with your administration and sending the confirmation and all of that.

As a travel agent, I find your site with not enough info, and if you have a question or a concern there are no phone numbers or contact info.Very hard to book your passes. It took me probably over one hour to do a job that should take no more than 10 minutes. pretty disappointed on the service quality.

I used Eurail last year when I backpacked through Europe and decided to give it another go this year. I noticed that there was a first class upgrade if you use your pass by May 15th, which was perfect because that was our last travel day. I contacted Eurail multiple times to ensure that I could indeed use the pass on the 15th, and that the last day was not the 14th, as sometimes advertised on their site. However, when I went to purchase my pass, the last possible activation day was March 15th. I selected that date, assuming that, like many of the Eurail employees said, I could use the pass on May 15th. However, when I got my pass in the mail, the last day of activation was May 14th. For over a week I've been contacting Eurail back and forth to try to resolve this issue, explaining that the last date to select in the system was March 15th. Everyone has given me a different answer, and the responses have taken days. I am beyond disappointed in this company. I had to rearrange my hostels and flights because of the false information I have been given. When I contact them through chat multiple times, they agreed that there was a mistake in the system that can be resolved (Raqcuel and Francisco), but when I receive an email back they claim it is my fault. It is clear that they just want your money and do not care about your trust. If you plan to use Eurail make sure you have all the screenshots of your entire purchase process to back yourself up when they mess up.

I understand that this falls on me but the system only offers limited trains, each ride then costs more on top of the very expensive fee for the pass in the first place. You cannot travel between Paris and Brussels without be charged another 30€ and all the other trains have been the same way. Disappointed that I spent 400 on this and having to spend an additional 150 just to use the trains I need, I will not use again. It was my mistake and I should have done more research before I purchased but as my second largest expense I will probably just book independently next time and fly as it’s cheaper than most train tickets at this point.

Website is not Mac-friendly, reservation portal is A FAKE. ONLY USE 'BOOK RESERVATION' ON THE MAIN WEBSITE.Very confusing and frustrating to find that and use it, only to figure out later that it is not the right website. Thank GOODNESS we hadn't paid yet.

EUrail pass sounds great, but is riddled with inefficiencies. Many trips require 8(!) business days to process. The tickets are paper tickets, not E-tickets, and need to be shipped to you. When trying to book routes from one city to another, the service will fail to find the best train connections for the shortest trip. For a service created for travelers, it could not be less accommodating.
Furthermore, there is no way to actually speak with an employee over the phone. The only form of communication is email and WhatsApp. I sent an email and never heard back. They claim they respond to WhatsApp within 8 hours but it took them 48 hours to respond to me. The savings just are not worth the inefficiencies and bad customer service.

Website is good, but I had no idea this company does not offer proper customer service. I would have purchased through another company if I knew I could not call and speak with someone. How does one get questions answered when trying to complete a reservation? I emailed a very important question concerning the spelling of my name and never received a reply. I pray that my pass comes with the correct name on it as my trip to Europe is in 2 weeks, and I live in the US.
