Completely agree with all the negative reviews . People who are happy clearly haven't opened up their computers to see they've just put whatever the hell they want in there without your permission. Scum indeed. Good riddance . RIP

scummy, they borrow loads of money and stock off suppliers and then get administrators in then buy the stock for pennies on the pound. a few months later they'll trade under a different name and a different director. its happening now and itll happen again until these scum are thrown in prison. do not give a penny to these lying, theiving lowlifes

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE unless your willing to wait 2 months to be asked to wait more.
I asked for these they said 2 weeks i waited 2 weeks. NOTHING so i called then they said end of month so i waited still they asked me to wait another 2 weeks so i did. same thing they did so i told them no i want a refund. they said okay. 1 week later no refund. i called to find out the guy who was ment to do it went on holiday and didnt bother.
they gave the refund only to keep calling me saying the have th item for me. which they dont.

Just discovered Eclipse have gone under. Sorry to hear that, I've dealt with them for a number of years and been so impressed by their service and help. Just last October I bought a brand new machine from them, perfect and quick service and advice, and the machine behaves impeccably.

So, So sad to see them permanently closing. They offered us a brilliant service, always having in the PC parts we needed with a fantastic, well-informed service.
Only a couple of weeks ago they helped us buy the right components for my son and I to build him a games PC for Christmas. It works perfectly.

Ripped off - Did Eclipse Know before hand ?
I ordered a Palit 4gb nvidia geforce gtx 1050 ti stormx pcie3.0 vga card on the 02.12.17 Paid my deposit in cash got told to collect it on the 09.12.17 only to find out when i turned up. That they have gone in administration. Web site down. Phones are down. Everything down. There is no way of contacting them to get my money back. The company made no effort at all to contact me. Now it looks like Tait walker administration have took over the company for Bankruptcy. Can't see refunds will be given.

Credit card purchase via PayPal.
NZXT NOCTIS 450 ROG £137.78 late November.
They called to say it will be later on in the week, then another call on Friday saying next week. I asked if not, I'll get off Amazon who had it for £143.99 for a day.
Then they vanished. Website down, telephone no answer one hour, no reply to email.
Ave just escalated a claim via PayPal, tomorrow will contact credit card company and get a chargeback too.

I feel very sorry for those left out of pocket, or, more importantly without Christmas gifts for children!!
Its about time that something was done to prevent this type of thing from happening, its been going on for 40 years or more!!
I was last in the shop in November 2017 and have to say that "Lee" the technician helped me out in a big way.
I purchased a PC at the beginning of the year but when I collected and opened it up "NONE" of the components were what I had ordered and paid for.
HOW MANY PEOPLE WOULD KNOW WHAT WAS INSIDE THEIR PC as we tend not to open them up or even have the knowledge to know what should be inside.
I was suspicious as the PC did not have the correct number of USB ports stated in the advert...........!!!!

First time using this supplier, and it will not be the last. Goods delivered as ordered, well packaged for protection against any damage. Arrived when stated, including a little surprise, which was promptly confiscated by my wife. She says thanks by the way. I will recommend Eclipse Computers to everyone that wants first class products and service. Thank you Eclipse.

Looking at other peoples reviews it doesn't look good. They're not answering the phones, replying to email and their site is down and their facebook page has gone.
I paid through Paypal and have raised a case with paypal. I'll get a refund on 16th December. I suggest anybody else who reads this does the same or rings their bank to do a chargeback. This whole thing stinks of the company shutting down and trying to escape with peoples money before Christmas. I saw it last Christmas with a company in Manchester.
06/12/2017 - I will amend this review if I get my item by the end of the week
Item has not arrived after ordering 10 days ago despite saying it was dispatched 7 days ago (with no tracking information)
They haven't responded to my email.
I stayed on hold for half an hour on the phone before giving up.
And now their website just says
"Sorry! We seem to have encountered an error." on any page i click on.
I'm really nervous about receiving an item before Christmas now and having the trouble of getting my money back and having to order elsewhere on short notice.

Ordered a computer a month ago, still hasn't arrived. I've waited rather patiently while all the out of stock parts (which were listed as in stock when i ordered said computer) were finally delivered except for the two hard drives, was told they would finally arrive yesterday. However, as of yesterday, the website is down save for a broken image link, and nobody is answering the phone when I call.
I've never had a problem with Eclipse before, their service has always been great, and i have always bought from them first, but this is getting beyond ridiculous now.

Needed an AM4 bracket for my new cooler that decided to come without one. Corsair wanted me to wait weeks, and these guys were cheaper and had them in stock. Took a chance. Delivery was much more prompt than I expected. Would recommend.
Now I can eat these Haribos guilt-free :)

Was about to spend over £500 on click and collect graphics cards. They continuously assured me that the item(which was in stock online) will be in store soon and I will receive a call from them when it comes in. This happened every 3-4 days or so when I called in after initially waiting over a week. This went on for another month. People on the other line unprofessional and unresponsive. AVOID and take your money somewhere else!

I am having a truly terrible experience with this company!
I ordered an item that was in stock and waited for the 3-5 working days delivery which I paid for, but it never came.
When I emailed them in order to find out why there is a delay with my item, they said it's been out of stock and was due to come back in the next couple of days.
They did say they could be in touch with an ETA as soon as it arrived.
No sign of them, no sign of my item, the expected day it would come back in stock has come and gone, nearly a week in fact!!
I emailed them to ask for my money back and NO ONE BOTHERED to even email me in order to confirm they got the message!
Please DO NOT BUY from this site!!
Avoid at ALL COSTS!!

I ordered a 250Gb Samsung 850 EVO Series S-ATA3 Solid State 2.5In Drive on 17/11 and was told it would be delivered within a few days. Despite being promised since then that it would be delivered every few days, nothing has arrived. I requested a refund and since then, nothing - no reply to emails or phone calls and the website is unworkable. I have complained to Trading Standards and have made a final request for a refund. I hope to update this shortly as to whether I got it or Trading Standards will take it further.

These guys should be locked up as others have said. They must have known there were in financial trouble but kept taking orders. I think they did a similar thing in 2013 under the company name of ECLIPSE COMPUTER SUPPLIES LIMITED. Only to setup a new company Computec Trading Limited which Eclipse Computers traded under. A quick check on Companies House shows Gulrez Akhtar gave up his 50 shares on 30/09/17 and terminated his directorship on the same day. He also has another company - Director of FREELANCELOGO LIMITED registered at the same address 106 St. Nicholas Street, Radford, Coventry, West Midlands, CV1 4BT. You guys thinking what I am ? Setting up again under a new company name. This practice must STOP.
No doubt he's still driving around in his Porsche !

Went in to get a fan for my dad's PC's cpu as it had blown when we changed the motherboard.
Didn't need anything fancy as my dad doesn't need performance as his cpu is an A10.
Explained this to the guy behind the counter.
Guy looked up some stock, then he dissappeared into the back.
He came back with an unboxed cooler with fan.
Guy offered it to me for free on the provision that I wrote an honest review.
Can't fault the guy's service, and eclipse has generally been my go to PC shop for years.
The fan and cooler worked brilliantly.
Shame I didn't get his name, good guy, highly recommended.

So far i got only bad feelings about this company. Should read some of the reviews over here before i placed my order. If any item on their website says "special order" it means its out of stock and like you can read over here: you may wait even a month for it, so beware of that before you pay this company any money.
Coming back to my experience:
I ordered something yesterday (07.11), paying for dpd next day. I checked today (08.11), and i didnt see any progress on my item so i give them a call and i heard excuses only including "no contact with supplier" or "we are not keeping in stock special orders" well... Sounds very amateur specially when someone paying extra for "next day delivery" so far not good at all.
Anyway i sent email asking for full refund. I will add update on here how it goes soon.
"Refunded" on 9.11 still not having any money back (11.11), apparently it takes 3-5 days so no complaining on that. Will update shortly.
It is 6 days now and you said it takes 3-5 days to get money back. I got no even a penny back from you guys. Officially you didnt refund me. Im getting my bank involved in this.
In total i was waiting nearly two weeks.
On 21.11 i contacted trading standards and they advised me to call eclipse computer company once again to ask for refund invoice. In next 40min i received refund invoice dated on 21.11 - same day as i contacted trading standards. Like you can see - they are liars. I was waiting all that time for nothing.
Beware of this company. Is it worth to waste your time on them? Not really.
