I will NEVER order a book from them again. I ordered a book and paid extra for one day shipping. After a few days the book still did not ship. I called and was told that it only ships in one day if they have it in stock. I was never informed the book was out of stock. Every time I called, I got the exact same scripted answer. HORRIBLE customer support. I have told everyone I know not to use them

RUN FROM THIS COMPANY!!! They are complete frauds! I sent in 3 APA publication books that were bought from my university’s bookstore. I attend a school with over 50k students, so I do not question if they sell authentic books. I sent them to Ecampus and they said that the publisher questioned the authenticity and per their guidelines and policy the publisher would be destroying them and I get nothing, not even my property back! Bottom line they stole my books that were brand new for pure profit! I will not give up on reviews or writing them over my property, this is completely wrong!

Atrocious. Pathetic. An utter disgrace to bookstores everywhere. I mean this is bad enough to Make Gutenberg regret the invention of the printing press. Bad enough to make Border’s books roll over in its grave at such a dishonor.
So... I ordered Netter’s Clinical Anatomy 3rd edition for $65 on August 18, 2019. I tried to save myself. I really did. But no one else “had” a new copy. And I waited.
And I waited some more.
My coffee got cold. And I was still waiting.
After TWENTY BUSINESS DAYS without shipping confirmation, I emailed customer service. I received no reply, but two days later, I got a shipping confirmation. This is where things get hairy. I was pleasantly surprised to find I had a package delivered today. I hurried to the post office, gathered my parcel, and scurried home to excitedly meet my long awaited bride. Upon opening the package, I was indeed greeted with a book. Upon inspection, I realized this was undeniably NOT netter’s clinical anatomy 3rd edition, but “introduction to physical education, exercise science, and sport studies” 9th edition. Used. With “THIS INTERNATIONAL STUDENT EDITION IS FOR USE OUTSIDE THE US” followed by “THIS BOOK CANNOT BE RE-EXPORTED FROM THE COUNTRY TO WHICH IT WAS SOLD MY MCGRAW HILL. THIS EDITION IS NOT AVAILABLE IN NORTH AMERICA” printed on the cover.
I live in the southeastern united states. And have been bamboozled by a bootleg book company who sent me an illegal black market textbook. That I didn’t want. I did not ask for this.
AND THEY HAVE THE AUDACITY TO EXPECT ME TO PAY $7 SHIPPING TO SEND THIS DECOY BACK.
I mean did they think I wasn’t going to open the package? That’s like opening your lunchbox looking for a little Debbie only to find that your mom packed celery sticks instead.
I do not relish the thought of possessing illegal paraphernalia in my dorm room. What will I say to the FBI when they come raid my room?? HOW WILL I EXPLAIN THIS????
I don’t belong in prison.
I understand mistakes happen, but have you guys checked your online reviews?
Now, if you will pardon me, I’m going to go order the correct book from amazon. At least they tell me on the front end if something is not currently available.

Terrible customer service!!! They canceled an order after saying the address I gave was not verified!!!
1st they verify the address in order when they add the last 3 digits of the Zip code verification which specifies an area within a zip code!!!
2nd they took money out within minutes of the transaction...
3rd they stayed they contacted the bank which was a flat out lie....:
Lastly I had to get my bank involved to get my monies back...
Customer service is not good because you can not talk to anyone and you have to text them instead of talking to them on phone.. They seem to be helpless and provide no solution to the issues that they create!!!
I walked away feeling that my identity or at very least my credit card information might have been submitted to a low level company!! Who knows what will happen to that information????

Just ridiculous! This is my second time writing a review, cause they never got back to me after I gave my order number on the first review. It's been over a month, my books were NEVER delivered, even though it stated it was delivered which they weren't. Still no contact from eCampus regarding my many emails about refund. I'm done dealing with this ridiculous company, I highly doubt they will do anything about the issue. So I just had to contact my bank and dispute the transaction, that's the only way at this point!

I am very upset! I placed the order for my book on August 27th, September the 4th I was notified of a delay on the book then immediately after on the 5th I hear that my order is canceled! It is now September 16th and I have not received my refund!!!

It seems that they are selling books that are not available. You can wait forever. No responses from emails. And you can not reach out to a representative. Even the line chat is not available in fact. The class has already begun for a week, and this platform has not got the book for its client. They were saying that the book is available!!!

Here starts a long and tragic tale of a book that never existed. On August 20th I ordered a textbook for a vertebrate anatomy class. It was cheap-- so cheap, in fact, that I wondered if there might be a catch. I regretfully did not follow my intuition that day, and I ordered the book. It was expected to ship within 5 to 7 business days, so I waited. A week went by. Then two. The first test came and went. After about 14 business days, I began to have suspicions. The Pony Express could have delivered it by now. I looked up my order and discovered that it hadn't shipped yet. What was going on? Had they lost the poor book? Was a fleet of the country's finest detectives searching the eCampus warehouses for it? Was the company growing their own trees to make the paper for the book? I e-mailed them to inquire what had become of my long anticipated order. The next week I received a reply that left me flabbergasted, peeved, bereaved of my senses. They had cancelled my order! They couldn't find a supplier for my book, they would give me a refund, and they were very sorry. I should mention that this book was listed as "in stock" when I ordered it. They had no book. They had no supplier. I'm not even convinced they have a company at this point. And thus, I abandoned eCampus and ordered from Amazon. The book has already shipped and will arrive next week. This is what I get for being a cheapskate. After this debacle, I have come up with a new philosophy. It is better to pay $40 for a book than $5 for the idea of a book. If nothing else, this experience has gained me personal growth, if not a textbook.

I have used this service for several years to purchase and rent books. I have usually had good experiences. I ordered 2 texts 8.18.19 (order #9054625) and received 1on 8.24.19. I checked the status of the second book and it said it was being processed. I sent an e-mail not expecting a response until Monday (as it was the week-end). Monday no response. Tried to access the chat option that has always been available-it was disabled. Tried to call as it was offered as an option, but when I did I went to a recording that directed me to access the chat option-which they were certainly aware they disabled. Classes had started and I had no way to access help. I sent a second e-mail...no response and e-mail was the only option left. Supposedly the book is on its way according to the site-who knows? I don't know what's going on but with no customer service I will not use this service again. I hate it that Amazon is the only option left but they at least provide customer service. What arrogance to think you do not have to respond to customer concerns even though you have taken payment.

I'm so upset. I ordered a book for a marine biology class and they told me they would email me once the order shipped. A few days later I received an email saying that my order was delayed. I sent an email asking for a refund and they have yet to reply to me. I don't have the money to buy another textbook and it's causing me so much stress. I just want my money back.

I placed an order to rent two books. Only one of the books shipped. The other one says that the shipping is unavailable and orders in the state cannot be canceled. I tried calling three times but there was no option to talk to someone about the issues. I waited in the chat four times on different devices (a couple of hours each time) and every time it would get to a single-digit number and then would disconnect me. They charge the credit card that I used the full amount so if I don't get this resolved before my bill comes, I will have to file a claim and now I don't have books in time for class. I don't want the book anymore so I don't have to buy anymore fees.

Please learn from me, do not rent from ecampus. Never received my book even after purchasing 1 day shipping. The book said that it "ships within 24 hours" but I waited over 4 weeks for it and it never came. Customer service team is also a joke. After a month of waiting I finally cancelled my order and im still waiting for a refund.

Terrible! It took almost 2 weeks to receive the book from the date of purchase and on top of that, I ordered a textbook that apparently has the same ISBN as a non-textbook item that was sent to me. I waited 2 hours on chat support to speak with someone and now it is being returned, but they only have half the money returned which I am now fighting. On top of that, I just received another copy of the wrong book from them.

I mailed in my book for a buyback the end of August. The book was received, confirmed and I was told on 9/3 it was being processed, funds to be released 3-5 business days. I’ve send multiple inquiries with no reply now & still no deposit. I need my money like anyone else. It’s just unfair and feels awfully like being stolen from. My books purchased by two other companies, sent at the same time & day didn’t have this dilemma. Does Ecampus get off by stealing from single mothers just trying to further educate and provide for their children?
Furthermore after reading several other reviews from students attempting to receive their books. The theory: for current and future buyers, I believe Ecampus lists avail with pending book buybacks. So it’s probably assumed they’ll receive the text but further, you’ll wait. Just an idea.

Horrible customer service. Replied back to me 17 days later after I requested an order change—and due to this delay, the “wrong” order was already sent to me by the time they could change my order. Couldn’t even replace my book because of their lack of communication and thoroughness to process my order correctly. This company is unreliable. No phone number is listed. All my emails and online chats has been ignored when I ask for a replacement.
