Avoid this company at all costs the have had over £4000 from me and they are asking for more money to pay upfront for an extra night in a hotel that was due to them changing flights 😡 they do say they will refund me but I don’t trust them one single bit and even more so since reading the reviews on here! I’ve never experienced such a an awful company and to make matters worse they don’t have a complaints department it’s all just customer service in India!! Please if anybody is thinking of using them don’t be fooled like me thinking they are a reputable company because they are part of Expedia as I’ve also emailed Expedia on 3 occasions and they don’t get back either! If anybody has any idea how you get to speak with an UK based person please tell me!!

Ebookers are absolute cons. Stay Away from them!
They do everything for you to book with them and cash your money, but when they get it wrong, they never admit their mistakes, let alone offer a refund.
I booked an international flight about 2 weeks in advance for my elderly mum using my credit card. A confirmation email and a flight itenary with reference was received and most importantly my credit card was debited.
When my mum reported for her flight at the airport, and to her surprise, she was informed that Ebookers had cancelled her flight. After a lots of going and coming, and with less than an hour before flight departure, she managed to buy a seat on that same flight, though obviously at a much higher rate.
When we contacted ebookers the cons, their reason for cancelling my mum’s booking was because of the credit card used for payment was different from that of the passenger” They also said “we hava refunded your card” (which I did not notice until I was told, and in any case, the refund only occurred several hours after payment and confirmation), and allegedly, “it was done to proect me”. That is the strangest thing I’ve ever heard. To cancel someone’s confirmed booking on those unfounded grounds without any warning and refuse to admit liability or at least pay the ticket price difference is absolutely bizarre. My only guess is that they resell customers tickets and bookings for higher prices as dates get closer.
Please be aware that the next victim could well be you.

Do not use ebookers if you want to save yourself a lot of stress and poor customer service. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Ordered car hire, due to lack of information we were stranded in the airport car park for 3h waiting for our car hire which wasn't coming. Then the hire was cancelled due to us being late!! And so we had to find an alternative car hire at the airport late at night which cost double the amount we initially payed.
Poor customer service as the first guy we spoke to was of no help and then didn't call us back with information after he said he would. The second person we spoke to had someone whispering in her ear the entire time she was on the phone to us as we could tell she was talking to someone at the same time and was of no help. Finally, the third person we spoke to to deal with refund and compensation was completely rude and made it out like it was our fault! And offered no form or compensation for our stress with the whole thing.
Safe to say they are useless, unhelpful and rude. NEVER using them again.

I have booked Flight+Hotel, I arrived at hotel and they didn't had my reservation. I called ebookers( which was super expensive) they said that they will call me back to relocate, however, I was not receiving calls back. Further on I have called them myself as I didn't wanted to stay on street and spent 4 hours, they relocated me after 9 hours to absolutely bad hotel where was no wifi and breakfast as I have booked. I have filled out complaint form and they supposed to get back to me within 24 hours, however, they did not responded. After more than 72 hours they still didn't got back to me. EBOOKERS RESPOND TO MY COMPLAINTS AND PAY FOR MY PHONE BILL AND REFUND ME MONEY!!!

Used Ebookers for many trips and have never been disappointed! Most recently i had to cancel a trip to Belfast due to my father suddenly being unwell and for all the trip was non refundable, the advisor contacted the hotel directly on my behalf & was able to get me a full refund. Also cancelled and rebooked a Disney hotel in Orlando this year as the price was reduced and was so easy to do and quick refund. My most recent trip was to New York this year and after reading bad reviews on my chosen hotel, i contacted ebookers and they advised me how to change my hotel and made the situation stress free and easy. I always contact the customer service team for advice and they have always been so helpful and give me tips to save money. Im not one for writing reviews but with seeing so many negative, i felt i had to share my experiences as i could not be happier with them!

Booked a hotel in Portugal for my family of 4- 2 adults and 2 children (3 and 5). When i searched the hotel I typed in 4 people and put the ages of the kids so of course large family bedrooms come up. Booked it all inclusive for all us. Get to the hotel and now they say the booking only says 2 adults. Tomorrow the manger will call me to let me know the extra charge for my kids now. Very poor booking service when I know for a fact I added the kids and the price cane up for 4 people but my booking confirmation says 2 adults. Will not use this service again. Never have we ever had a problem booking a holiday with any holiday provider. This just shows how bad it is.

Ebookers.com are are in the same group as Hotels.com and Expedia, so their prices are the same. You can obtain good discount promo codes on the internet to reduce the prices well below their competitors this probably makes them one of the cheapest around.
They have a good booking system and I have never had any problems booking hotels, even at the last minute.
They have a reasonably good Loyalty Scheme (Bonus+ Rewards). You get cashback with every booking and a further cash discount on your next visit. Unfortunately the "free" airport lounge pass offered on Gold and Platinum levels, is virtually useless as it only covers a very limited amount of lounges - a total of only 9 for the UK and Ireland combined (mostly London based).

Bonus scheme is garbage, seems like they actively try to avoid giving you any bonus even when you have earned it. Take months to hear from them regarding any query.

Ebookers are a sister company of Expedia and Hotels.com and are now my 'go-to' accommodation booking app and website these days. I have booked accommodation six times, and car hire once with Ebookers over the last 3 years and never had an issue with any of the bookings in that time. For regular travelers, the Ebookers membership bonus+ scheme is pretty good as you can see exactly how much bonus+ credit you will earn with every booking before you book and this can then be put towards the cost of any future booking made within the next 12 months. You just need to sign in before you book to earn or use the bonus credit. Also, it is currently better to use the Ebookers app to book whenever possible because you earn more bonus+ credit using the app than you do booking via the Ebookers website.
I have never booked flights through Ebookers as they only seem to offer the airline baggage options and none of the seat or priority boarding options I like to choose with my flights before I pay so I only use them for flight price comparisons, preferring to book flights direct via the airline's own website. I have never tried to use any of the Loungebuddy lounge passes I have earned as a regular Ebookers customer so I cannot comment on the use of those but I always remember to make full use of the 10-15% discount coupon codes Ebookers seem to constantly provide online for use when you pay for accommodation upfront in full. I have saved hundreds of pounds using those. With Ebookers, it is easy to cancel bookings via their website without the need for a phone call to their customer service. I have had to cancel accommodation bookings on two occasions in the past and both times, the money I had paid was automatically refunded to my credit card within hours of my cancellation.
As I have never needed to speak to Ebookers customer services, I cannot comment on the quality of that side of things but so far I have no complaints at all as every booking I have made has been competitively priced and worked out fine each time.

Customer service is second to none! They bend over backwards to help you, and do what they say and will also go the extra mile for the customers I have been using them for years! Not once have they let me down! I would recommend them! Remember if you have a problem they will help you solve this. I will continue to use them! We also get good offers and deals.

After reading quite few negative reviews about Ebookers, I wasn't too optimistic when I had to call them because my airline had changed my connecting flights and the alternatives they offered weren't acceptable. I rang customer services and the gentleman who answered asked me to hold as he had to put me through to someone else. My heart sank, thinking I would be kept waiting for ages, but the call was answered straight away by Nikita, who was very polite and helpful. I explained I wanted to change all my flights, including the dates, so that I didn't have too long a layover between flights. She checked the flights I wanted and said they were all available and she would alter my booking accordingly. Within a few hours, I had confirmation of my new flights. I did call very late evening in the hope it wouldn't be so busy, but I can't fault the service I received.

I had called up to book a Double room at Hotel Kings Court U Obecnigi Domu 3, Prague 110 00 Czech Republic from 05th August 2019 to 10th August 2019. The advisor was requested that I need a room with a shower cubicle/ walk in shower.
The advisor did not understand properly what I was asking for and booked a room with a disabled toilet and send the confirmation to me with the same.
I called up ebookers again to explain as to what has happened. The lady on the phone said not to worry and the desired will be done.
I received an email saying that the room should be with a shower cubicle/ walk in shower.
When I reached the hotel I was told that they have no information or emil about the room with a normal shower cubicle/ walk in shower.
The room given to me was for disabled people. The toilet seat was so high that one had to stand to use it. The wash basin was so low that I hurt my back using it for five days. She told me that they will try to shift me the next morning. As it was past midnight I took up the room.
The next morning I tried my best to change my room but was unsuccessful. The manager could not see me for five days. Whenever I asked for him was told that he has left for the day.
I will never book with them again as they do not understand what is a person trying to communicate.

We had booked a hotel in Uganda. After 14 hours of connecting flights, and another 4 hours by taxi from the airport through rural Uganda the hotel property did not exist. The hotel was unreachable by phone and email. The telephone number provided by Ebookers was false, email has never been replied.
It took us another 4 hours with 3 different taxis and on the back of motorcycle with our luggage looking for the hotel that we booked in vain. In the end we had to look for hours for an alternative place to sleep.
The refund process was horrible, with them asking for booking confirmation of the alternative places we had to stay. Since we had to resort to guesthouses situated in what were basically slums, guesthouses offering nothing more than a place to sleep with no running electricity we did obviously not get a booking confirmation. We managed to get refunded but the process was an absolute drag with no empathy whatsoever from Ebookers.
The “hotel” in question is still being listed on the Ebookers site…

I booked a holiday for a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children. The room I booked was described on ebookers website as a family room sleeping 2 adults and 2 children. It said there was a large king size bed and roll away beds available free of charge. I contacted ebookers to ensure the roll away beds had been included and they told me the room slept 2 adults and I had to pay an extra £1200 if I wanted 'extra' beds. The staff then said the bed was big enough to sleep 4 people and we could just share the bed for a week!
On arrival at the hotel I had to pay an additional £600 to move to a room big enough for 4 people because I had not been booked into a family room. The customer service I received from ebookers was absolutely disgusting, the staff were very condescending and spoke to me like I was stupid. I will never book with them again.

I booked with ebookers to India with Jet Airways. While we were in India Jet Airways cancelled our flight. Ebookers emailed and said phone them, which was difficult for me. I kept replying to their emails requesting they communicate by email which they refused to do. Eventually I phoned & when I got through to their customer service (in Ireland, not England) they couldn't help and transferred me to India!!! Call was a total waste of time.
Eventually they sent me an email saying my only option was to cancel my return flight and seek compensation, as per the standard Jet Airways terms & conditions. If I had been stupid enough to do this I would have had no legal recourse to ebookers, Jet Airways, or my credit card company that I booked with, and would have lost my flight home!
Disregarding their moronic advice I went into the Jet Airways office in Kochin who politely and efficiently booked me on an Eithad flight at no cost!!!
DO NOT USE THESE MORONS TO BOOK A FLIGHT!!!

I booked connecting flights from UK to USA via Amsterdam. The flight from the UK to Amsterdam was changed by the airline because the flight booked via Ebookers did not exist. This was confirmed by the airport staff.
As a result, I ended up with less time in Amsterdam and additional costs for luggage as I was unable to check-in online. I had to pay baggage at the airport and due to the issues with the booking, it meant a 1/2hr wait to get checked in due to issues with the booking.
I called Ebookers ahead and tried to get on a similar or earlier flight time so that I would have 24hrs in Amsterdam but was told that to change the flight would be £2400! Ridiculous as it wasn't my fault that the flight times had been changed in the first place. Ebookers booked a flight that did not exist on that day.
Next time I book flights I'll look for a more reputable booking agent.

Utterly useless organisation when you have a problem with a hotel booked through them. They take the hotel's version of events over the customer's and go as far as to give over the judgement of a case to the hotel owners, the very ones that are guilty. Ebookers does not defend your rights as a customer. They will also refuse to pay out what they owe through Top Cash Back. This company is as much use as a three legged horse. Customer service abominable. Avoid like the plague.

Booked a package holiday; flight and hotel with Breakfast & Dinner included.
An hour after booking I got a message through saying my hotel had been cancelled with no explanation as to why.. looked in my bank and saw the money for the flight had already been taken but the money for the hotel had come back. How can the money for half the PACKAGE be taken?? Spoke to Ebookers and they couldn't have been less helpful. They said to rebook my hotel it would cost me £100 more as the price had increased since my initial booking.. AND they denied the fact that my initial booking had breakfast & dinner included saying if i wanted that added I would have to pay extra for it. I couldn't even back out as I was told my flights were non refundable so I just had to pay the extra and go without the breakfast and dinner. Paying for dinner when we were there was not an enjoying experience knowing that we had already paid for it to be included.. plus more!

Booked a long haul trip from Switzerland to Tanzania. At the airport was almost refused boarding due to baggage allowance. Next connecting flight at LHR denied boarding cause we did not have a return ticket despite being east African citizens! We had to book another flight from Tanzania to Kenya just to carry on our journey. Again baggage allowance problems but finally we're allowed to board.
Upon arrival we cancelled Tanzania Kenya flight. Never got a refund. Travellers beware. Sometimes it pays to book directly with an airline.

Absolutely DISGUSTED that ebookers will NOT PAY our hotel Likya Residences in Kalkan. We paid ebookers in full in February . After numerous calls our holiday had been spoiled by this . Hours trying get an ebookers representative pay the hotel or refund us. We have been told to pay the hotel and then try and get a refund from ebookers. Maybe they are BANKRUPT? Can anyone help us ?

I have just requested a change of dates for an upcoming trip and although the booking was non-refundable the team called the hotel to see if they could change it. At first it wasn't possible to make a change even though the hotel had approved it however I was then lucky enough to be transferred to Zubair at the customer service team who very politely and professionally was able to sort it out for me and has processed the refund for the change of booking. Horrible company! Avoid this company at all cost. Ebookers is a rogue company. You’re better off using other honest and trustworthy holiday companies. Customer service is appalling. Shoaib and Basavaraj from ebookers insisted on not refunding my £60 voucher I got, even though it was cancelled within the returns period. Said vouchers are non-refundable even though it wasn’t actually used.
