ebay customer since 2005. Recently purchased a pair of shoes, ordered med and received large. The seller wanted me to pay return shipping for HIS mistake (megashoes). Ebay refused to stand behind their buyer protection when I called because I did not know how to use their system with new policies! I do NOT recommend using ebay anymore with the policy changes... buyer BEWARE!!!

eBay company and its customer service are disgraced people who want to make money at the cost of buyers and sellers!! they don't care the time or the effort we pent to sell or buy products!!! and they keep printing shipping labels with out any authorization and keep billing to the seller. not to mention this business platform is hijacked by many scammers and frauds, the ebay customer service states that we should only do reports to police or to their site and no ends to it. it is a complete danger to the society at all cost need to be avoided.

Top Tip: Always check the reviews when purchasing and don't take any notice of reviewers who just rate the speed of the delivery service. You are not reviewing the postman, you are reviewing the product.

Ive used ebay meny a time now and spent a good bit on it buying different products and always left a review for the things i buy but a disappointed that if u buy something and its bad thry dont let u post what u think about it really dissatisfied when u buy something from thare u should be able to tell ppl is its good to buy or its just junk the hole point to review something is so u can leave feed back for others

No, I won't give eBay a single chance ever again! I bet you are an eBay customer representative from India trying to defend your unscrupulous, scammer laden company. However, you don't understand what I have been through and the bloody nightmares that I have suffered as a first time eBay user, the moment eBay permanently suspended my account for no good reason. Yet, they couldn't come up with a good explanation as to why they did not want to reinstate my account. It even got to the point, where I had to contact the ex-CEO of eBay and even the headquarters via email, and not one of them had the audacity to reply back to me with a response! Furthermore, it got to the point where I was literally getting VERY MAD due to the lack of extremely poor service that eBay has here in the US. Therefore, (as a last solution and in not wanting to have anything to do with eBay anymore) I had to chat with several customer representatives from the UK website, searching for an answer as to why my eBay account was suspended. And, none of them could come up with a good answer. One of them said, "that I posed a threat to the eBay community," and she didn't say anything else, except that my account on eBay would never be reinstated again! So, I finally became even more angry and told her that after no help or anything from other eBay employees and/or customer representatives or e-mail replies from the ex-CEO and the eBay Headquarters, to just close/delete my account forever! So, how do you expect me to give eBay another chance after all this HELL that they put me through!?!?!?! eBay has not been fair to ME! It has not been fair to the people who gave it a lot of negative reviews! And yet, you expect us to give eBay another CHANCE AGAIN after all the headaches and frustrations that they put us through!?!?!?! HOW DARE YOU????? For me, eBay will always remain below average. eBay is a SCAM infested company based in CHINA that only cares about making MONEY no matter how, even if it means ripping innocent people off (both SELLERS and/or BUYERS too!) Oh, and BTW, if anyone has already been ripped off by these schmucks at eBay in the US, contact the Federal Trade Commission immediately at their website.

Ebay is so full of scammers. I just bought an item for a Christmas present for my husband, gave it to him on Christmas and it didn't work in the slightest. I then wrote the seller (named shopped) and got ignored. Then noticed there was no way to return it because too much time had passed. No extra time for Christmas presents?? You can't even warn people in feedback because there was a time limit on that too. Then I ordered a set of Pusheen ear muffs and scarf. When I opened it, this horrible smell came wafting out of the box and smelled up my whole house. Both products wreaked of throw up or crazy cat lady house. I wrote the seller who then had the audacity to claim that the smell couldn't possibly have come from inside the box and must have happened in transit or in the mailbox. She wouldn't give a refund. Her seller name was freecakeforall . Buyer beware!

This site is horrible on all levels. I usually order from amazon, but found a product I wanted at a cheaper price. BAD MISTAKE! I ordered the product a under the impression it be delivered by the time stated on the site(2-3) business days via USPS. The following day after purchase a label was created, 8 days later I was still waiting for the seller to take the product to USPS to be shipped. He created a label to get the money, but never turned over the product to be shipped. I emailed the seller twice over a 3 day period...no response. I then called ebay who created a complaint. A day later I was contacted by ebay and the seller stating that the product had shipped and that I would recieve a $5 credit for the late shipment (13 days to be exact) two weeks after the shipment arrived I have yet to receive my credit. I called and of course the shenanigans began all over again. Needless to say I never received that $5 credit. Ebay allows people to sell on this site who lie to customers and promise shipping arrivals that never happen. I will never ever purchase another thing from this site. Once they get your money they dont give a damn.

i made a purchase for an item and paid for my item realized 2 where not purchased so i contacted seller and asked how i can make it 2 for 1 shipping he said i could order a second one and the shipping be refunded..... so i did so just to find out that ebay charges extra shipping to a company called pitney browes that ebay refuses to refund even if they seller says that you will receive a full shipping refund i went through all the steps and was denied by employee and supervisor and am thoroughly un impressed by the service and lack of info..... i would have never bought the second one if i knew the seller wasn't getting the full shipping charge

Terrible. Doesn’t even deserve one star. I went through such a hassle to shop as eBay. The policy is horrible. Many scams on EBay. My item never arrived. Sellers never respond. Customer service is awful at helping buyers and are never helpful. Save yourself hassle and stress and shop at amazon.

Buyer Beware. Ebay is allowing Gerser 19 and Ger83 to sell GoLean Dedrugs tox a banned product in USA and Canada. Also selling other questionable diet products as is another person Malaysia. This product is banned by Canada and United States. I purchased it after I was told it was different. It is not and contains drugs that are or can be
fatal for buyer. This seller refuses returns instead bullies anyone who purchased blaming Global Shipping. The very fact that Ebay allows these sales and they have done nothing to stop sales speaks volumes!

I think no one should buy from ebay!! Too many scams! Basically lost over $100 on something that I never got in the mail. Supposely it was backed by "ebay money back garunteed" but seller never answered any of my emails for help and it took me months to try to get it resolved with customer service. After waiting forever they ended telling me they cant help me!

Worst experience as a seller. They say they have seller protection policy but when from drop down menu choose seller does not accept return, they do follow their own policy! Hold time and customer service knowledge is frustrating! Had to pay 14 dollars to ship a 15 dollar sandal now they make me pay for shipping for the return! No partial credit! They are there to protect buyers and make their commission from sellers!!! No more dealing with eBay!!!! They are the worst!

I ordered a item. cost me $ 89.00. I ended up finding out that they were using products from another seller without their knowledge. I was scammed and bamboozled. By the time I contacted customer service they shut their page and product down. Ebay assured me I did get a refund but it never posted on my credit card account. They protect scammers. Stay away from them. FAR, far away. The few good buyers don't make up for the bad ones.

Most recently Ebay had decided to put a 'payment hold' on funds I received for a DVD ($40.00) Within hours the buyers purchase had been shipped with tracking number and photo of package with Canada Post paid sent to buyer, as I normally do. Photo of package I only recently started.
I have purchased numerous DVDs, among other items and I've sold probably less than a dozen in total DVDs. I have a 100% positive ebay rating. Nothing about my account has been changed in years.
This has happened after having my Ebay & PayPal accounts for over 12 years, frequent activity for approx. 5 years.
PayPal sent me an email stating Ebay has requested a payment hold and that's that. I have good standing in all purchaeses which are paid immediately thru PayPal. I have never been over drawn either.
There is not one logical reason I can come up with why this has happened.
Ebay gives a list of reasons thru the help guide & when you call their CS rep. for this to happen
however I do not fit in any category.
All I can do now is wait until someone at Ebay clicks a button to release the funds to PayPal. Then wait for PayPal to release to me.
I shake my head at Ebay for the nonsense they get away with.
Silver lining.....I'm thankful this didn't happen when it was an entire series I was selling.
