You have the worst return process ever. I will never youse ebay for anything. I don’t like being lied about a refund. I’m still waiting from August for a refund

I tried unsuccessfully to sell my paintings on EBay....nobody bought ONE SINGLE PAINTING! I had about 13 nice paintings listed. I've gotten many compliments on my artwork but it didn't sell. Now, EBay wants me to pay $20.00 in listing fees. Not fair. I will NEVER try to sell on EBay again....
or buy another product from them. I will pay the money to EBay, but after that I am through with them!

Ebay customer service is the worst, you get lied and get ripped off.

I was ripped off either by eBay or the seller(JP4466h). It doesn't matter which one, but this was not the first time. I bid $30 more than the highest bidder, and either eBay or the seller decided to give it to the person with a lower bid. Then I tried to call eBay, and all I got was someone from a foreign country that spoke very little English. Unbelievable y frustrating. It was and has been a terrible experience.

I have got two very similar Chanel wallets and I decide to sell both. One sold and post and I was still selling another one. To my surprise, my list has been removed and received an email suggesting my item looks fake. Why? Simply because I have two similar items? They are real authentic items and there is no way to have a complaint in ebay. I am also told they would charge me in any case for my listing despite it’s been removed unfairly. I have never experienced this anywhere else as the eBay customer has no say when I were Treated and charged unfairly. They don’t even listen to your complain. Not trusted marketplace!

I left Ebay after 14 years. I bought an item which I never received and spent hours and hours on the phone trying to sort it out.
Every time I was promised a refund but in the end I got so fed up with false promises I asked them to close my account.
The item was only £7 and it was not worth the hassle of spending hours listening to staff lie to me.
I would go out of my way to tell people to avoid Ebay at all costs.

Don't waste your time to leave deserved negative feedback for sellers. Even the comment is accurate and explains exactly your experience with the purchase and buyer, ebay will remove your feedback if seller ask for that.

eBay was one of the best auction websites, it's recently lost it, no longer as cool as it was before, I used to win auctions on this website and was actually worth it.
I see they try to improve it nowadays, hopefully, it gets back to its vision and gets back to be one of the coolest marketplaces and auction websites.

I have been looking for a set of motorcycle tires on Ebay. I've discovered that all "Brand New" descriptions are far from BRAND new.The oldest manufacture date on 1 tire was 2012 - that makes it UNUSED for 7 years, but certainly not BRAND new. ALL the listings say BRAND new unless they have actually been on a bike - then they are listed as "Pre-owned". Motorcycle tires are said to have a "shelf life" of 5 years from date of manufacture. Yet, riders are also advised to start thinking about replacing tires 5-6 years after manufacture date REGARDLESS of how many miles are on the tire.
Get the problem? Ebay does NOT ACCEPT suggestions from the outside, per their "longstanding policy". If they did accept a suggestion, it would be to require a standard for listing these tires as "BRAND new" - like manufacture date within 1 year. All older dates would be described as "Unused". Whom am I kidding? They are NOT going to do this. Just want to warn others about this misleading practice. (The manufacture date code is a 4 digit number enclosed in a circle on the sidewall of the tire - "2419" is the 24th week in 2019.)

I ordered a sit up bench and it never came, I called ebay and they said I would get a refund and sent me an email saying it was refunded but it must have went to someone else because I never got it , luckily it wasn't too much, but I will never buy off of ebay again

Customer service sucks, fees suck, but somehow it's still the main way to purchase things that are out of print, out of stock elsewhere etc.

ebay is terrible. I ordered an item that was 23 dollars and I didn't receive it and they didn't do anything so I ordered it again and the same problem occurred. this happened multiple time. WHATEVER YOU DO DONT SHOP ON EBAY IT REALLY SUCKS.

I CAME TO EBAY TO SELL IN EARLY 2000's AND ACTUALLY BOWED OUT OF SELLING AND CANCELLED MY ACCOUNT AFTER A COUPLE YEARS ONLY TO BE PERSUADED TO RETURN BY A FRIEND THAT HAD JUST STARTED SELLING AND WE BOTH FOUND THAT THINGS WERE NOT GETTING BETTER FOR THE SELLERS..AS I HAVE ENJOYED SITTING HERE TODAY READING THE REVIEWS FROM BOTH SIDES,IT IS MY EXPERIENCE THE SELLER GETS THE SHAFT MOST OF THE TIME.WE HAVE HAD TO JUMP THROUGH HOOPS FOR WAY TOO LONG AND PAY WAY TOO MUCH AS WE CONTINUE TO GROW AND BECOME AND MAINTAIN THE "TOP RATED SELLER" WE ARE SUPPOSE TO BE.MOST OF US AGREE EBAY HAS LOST IT'S GLIMMER AND A LOT IN THE PAST FEW SHORT YEARS.SELLER PROTECTION - PHOOEY - EXAMPLE: I BUY A TON OF PRODUCTS FROM A SELLER AND GET THEM ON TIME LOOK THROUGH THEM TAKE TO FLEA MARKET,HAVE YARD SALE AND DO RATHER WELL WITH ALL THIS JUNK AND AFTER 28 DAYS I FILE A REPORT ON WHAT IS LEFT THAT IT IS NOT AS DESCRIBED AND I FILE FOR REFUND ON THOSE REMAINING NO SALES..GET MY DRIFT ? WE SELLERS CAN BE HAD...BOTTOM LINE IS - THE PERCENT WE PAY TO SELL FROM BEGINNING TO END AIN'T WORTH LISTING 20 TO 90 DOLLAR ITEMS ANYMORE AND BEING FORCED TO GIVE 30 DAY OR LONGER TIME TO RETURN..HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE YOU TO OPEN A KNIFE AND KNOW IF IT IS WHAT YOU WANT??..THE FUN IS GONE.EBAY'S LEADERSHIP IS LACKING OVERALL IN MY OPINION.

Maybe it's not ebay's FAULT, but it is their RESPONSIBILITY to represent their buyers and sellers when someone scams another. They really need a customer service department that listens to complaints. They charge enough fees to afford this. After 20 years using ebay, I have had to open 3 cases in the past 6 months due to sellers' negligence. I won't purchase anything from ebay until I feel they honor their so-called "Buyers Guarantee"

Unbelievable - Essentially there is no "e-bay guarantee." I have (seemingly) open and shut case for a refund - nope. I will be closing my case and letting everyone I know to do the same.

I've been using eBay since the very beginning. The quality has been going downhill since they separated from Paypal. Their policies and website feel like they are stuck in the 20th century. I appreciate buyer protection. I have especially been having problem selling used electronics.
Additionally problems with UPS, FedEx and USPS end up reflecting on the seller and/or eBay. For individuals trying to market items steer clear of eBay. They really only care about the big "stores".
When selling on eBay they are making a margin on your every sale and should really be helping you more for the margin they pocket.

There is nothing you can sell above 100 dollars, and if you do you will notice immediately that 3 or 4 guys will make you a huge offer and tried to steal it from you, they will pay you but then they will open a case and PayPal will take the money and item from you. Something I think it is the same people form eBay, maybe the same guy who make the decision is the same guy who took your item. The only safe transaction is when you buy or sale little stuff that nobody care about or if you are a huge company that sale many things and or have "people" that help you inside.
