Dyson is not a good brand they are…Dyson is not a good brand they are overpriced. Have only a one year warranty which is fishy considering how expensive it is and you hear big brand like Google and ring who replace products after 4-5 years.. This is because you pay a thousand dollars for a vacume and then it breaks in a couple years. Mine lasted 4 years I called customer support and they wanted me to send it to them to fix that I would have to pay for. Sad a vacume that expensive lasts 4 years. Will never buy another dyson again. Bought TWO SupersonicsBought TWO Supersonics. Both overheated, stopped working. Nordstrom's credited albeit were just days after warranty expired. Bought new one at Dyson NYC flagship. Stopped working literally at the two year mark when warranty nearly ran out. Dyson refuses to stand behind its products. They are aware given the thousands of complaints that the hair dryers have a limited lifespan and they malfunction with the same issues (overheating/not turning on). I bought in 2021 a European Dyson in Paris. I know it will be a matter of time it will stop working and I've only used it 20 times at best. Don't buy a hairdryer. It won't last. I was happier with the 75.00 turbo hair dryer that lasted 10 years. A $500 hair dryer should last an eternity and not fail at the two year mark or prior. Dysons break downThis was our second dyson - we bought the dyson animal. The first time we had an issue we called the customer service number on the machine. The guy was great walked us through what to do to fix it and he set up our warranty info so I had it all detailed in an email. Then a few months later another issue - this time the noise sounded bad and it was smoking - called again described it and they arranged for me to send it to their closest repair shop as they confirmed it was under warranty and all is covered. Agree with another that they have no solution to going without a vacuum for the potential couple of months it could be to have it repaired and sent back. That is where the good customer service ended got a call back a couple of weeks later. Was told that the motor burned because we did not clean the filter. I told him I had but then he proceeded to tell me there was another filter within the ball area that you are also supposed to clean but not as often. So I would not be covered under warranty had two options pay a 199 for the repair or they would send me a new one for only $299 - funny I got an email with a special to buy a dyson at $249 so it did not seem a good deal. I told him I would call back. Decided after doing some research that I would be better off buying from another company. When I called back he gave me about 3 other different reasons when I said a different vacuum than dyson would seem to work better for us ... he said something about water getting into - which I said I have no idea how any water would get into the machine and the reason you gave me before was that I did not clean out the filter so then he said something about construction material being in filter and then he said it could be a number of different things that ultimately caused the problem but they could not iron out which one was the main reason. Works GreatI’ve owed a Dyson V8 for several years now and it has been terrific. Since it’s cordless and so convenient, we vacuum much more often than with our older corded vacuum. We did have a problem shortly after initial purchase, it needed a new motor head but there none available. So Dyson Customer Service sent us a new vacuum cleaner including all the attachments. This unit has been flawless. I know that there are a lot of negative reviews about Dyson but my experience with the company and the product has been very positive. Great products & serviceI have bought the Dyson hair dryer, the vacuum cleaner and now two air purifiers V07 and V09. I never had to contact customer service for the hair dryer which I bought over five years back. It’s a great product. For the vacuum cleaner, which I bought two years back, they arranged a fantastic video call to run me through the features and how best to use it. Later when it was overheating & switching off (more than a year after purchase) they reviewed it in a video call & suggested a replacement part which was quite inexpensive and arrived within 48 hours. Now I have bought two air purifiers and they are plug-and-play and work very well — it’s only about a week since I bought them. My experience with Dyson products is that they are expensive, but product quality is absolutely top of the line. Their customer service, when needed has been efficient and prompt. I am surprised at so many negative reviews. But I am dealing with Dyson in India so maybe that’s making a difference. Not just clear it out but take it apart and try to find out where it is clogged because we don’t know why it’s not pulling anything into the container. It barely gets any of the hair off the rug when I vacuum. I feel like all it does is move everything around or instantly clog. The Dyson V15 Absolut is NOT for households with petsThe Dyson V15 Absolut is very flexible and ergonomic but I do not recommend it to families with pets. I cannot use this vaccuum cleaner for more than 5 minutes. Every 5 min I get an alert that the filter is dirty and that I need to clean. I wash and clean the filter according to the instructions 2-3 times a week. I barely have time to clean the floor, I mostly clean the vacuum. The whole is too small and gets blocked so easily that this vacuum cleaner is simply not efficient. Look amazing, is easy to hold but does not help much when you have a big house and pets. I was surprised to seeI was surprised to see. Love the lightness, sizeI traded in an older nonball animal. It is much lighter really picks up well, I am really having issues with the ball. It is hard to handle. We try to put it away it sounds like it is up in the locked position, but falls over every time. My wife has given up trying to use it. I tend to have more patients with such stuff but I am losing mine also. We owned our last Dyson for 7 years and truly wish we had it back. Not sure yet!Just bought the dyson canister dc39 and have only used twice so far. I have mostly hardwood floors and have been used to a brush attachment which I loved. Not sure I like the floor attachment and also I'm suppose to press the lever down once to use spinner brush for carpet but I have to press it down at least 3 or 4 times before it works.
