I ordered a gift from them last year in November. They took the money from my account, sent me the receipt, sent me the product, and then started sending me notices that they never charged me and that I owe them money. I called them and told them about it and even forwarded a copy of my receipt and they told me they must have screwed up and I had to pay again. They are not threatening to send me to a collection agency for something I ALREADY PAID FOR!!!!!

So I bought this Bracelet for my wife, it is our anniversary we have been married almost 40 years and I bought it both for the look and the the interior inscription. I did not open it before giving it to her, had I done so I probably would have sent it back. Overall my shopping experience went well, the web site was easy to navigate and the shipping was prompt via USPS. The packaging was about what I expected maybe a little better. It is the piece itself that is some what disappointing. First off the size, it is very large my wife is 5' 7" and around 120 pounds and wears size medium tops, this thing is so large it will slide right over her hand in the closed position, on her wrist it looks huge, I know it is a Bangle not a Bracelet but come on, unless your wife/girlfriend has arms like a Green Bay Packer Linebacker this thing is too big. But the REAL LET DOWN is the inscription, it is NOTHING like the photos. First off we have 20/20 vision and it is so small you need a magnifying glass to read it, also there is absolutely no spacing between words which makes it hard, but more importantly it is not black filled it is just engraved in the gold.
THE PHOTOS ON THE WEBSITE ARE VERY MISLEADING.
It will not even resemble those photos on the website. So good luck. This was my first purchase from Danbury and I will search out reviews in the future.

I purchased the first and last year production of the Morgan silver dollar. My price was around $260. Danbury Mint sent me the least expensive 1878 coin. I can buy these coins on eBay for less than $100. If you are not an experience coin dealer don't buy from these thieves. Jesse James was a gentleman. When he robbed you he used a gun.

The "I Love You" pendant from the Danbury Mint is very small (7/8 inch). Can you even read the words? The pictures on the mailer and on the web site do not say "enlarged" or "actual size". Very misleading.

The pictures they post are seriously misleading. I ordered earrings for my wife's b'day in early January...they finally arrived February 26 after several excuses. The posted pic made them look to be a couple of inches long. In reality they're maybe 1/2 inch...plus at over $100 they were seriously overpriced. If there are faux diamonds on them you need a magnifying glass to see them. Fool me once....there won't be a twice!! Shabby company.

I bought a October swirl personalized gold plated ring from the Danberry Mint. After about a month after it was purchased the gold plate came off. The ring was not worn everyday but mainly to church and taken off after wards. Poor quality and absolutely no help from what they call customer service. Every time I tried to get in touch with them they would send me more jewelry ads but no help. DO NOT BUY THIS IS JUNK!!!!!

My Queen Elizabeth Sculpture arrived and the brass plaque on the wooden plinth was off centre so I've asked for a refund & didn't get one apology from customer services!

I was sent an item I did not want. I have been trying to return it for over a month. Three times I was told they would mail out a return packing slip. They still haven't sent it. They don't follow through with what they say they will do. I would never buy or recommend them to anyone.

Bought gold necklace and pendant for £99 it's lost it's colour and just found out it's gold plated honestly you would get better quality at a fairground so disappointed what a complete waste of money

I just bought, for $150 a Marine Corps ring 4 $150.
This rain is not worth $50. I contacted them to let me know that I was unhappy with the product and explain why. Told them I wanted to return it they would not schedule a pickup label oh, and I am disabled. The woman on the phone said don't talk to me that way, or I can't talk to her that way. Just a word to the wise, I'll never deal with him again. If you've not yet been burned...

Bought an address sign for 100.00. Advertised as brass engraving. When I received it from China it was not as advertised. It has a time metal back with a vinyl cut out with address in vinyl not engraved at all. Total waste of money. They say you have to protect it from the sun!

My husband ordered a ring for me. The ad said no money down.
He found out much later that they would not engrave my name on the ring until
it was paid for. So my ring's delivery was delayed until he paid, even though
the Danbury Mint ad said he wouldn't have to pay a cent until he received the ring
and was completely satisfied.
I finally received the ring today.
I hope all the other reviewers are exaggerating about
it being worse than the cheapest costume jewelry. :(

Always read reviews before purchase anything online, I did ad things to the cart but when it came to pay, the page did not look right, so after reading the reviews, I changed my mind and did not purchase anything.

My mother in law recently passed away, and we discovered that she had been suckered into spending thousands of dollars on Danbury Mint "collectables" that are now worthless. Run as fast as you can away from this crap.

Do not bother. I thought this was a dollar store gag gift from from my spouse on valentines day. Real roses? No way. Cheap cheap cheap fake rose like things jammed in a glass jar on top of some 5 cent gauze. 130 dollars for this junk. Just no and never buy from this company. At best he should have paid 20 dollars. Total scam and RIP off. In fact he could have done better at the dollar store.

I purchase a necklace from the I love you daughter collection. I have limited money this Christmas and that is difficult enough so I say this and thought, OK I can pay it off over time and the engraving and the necklace is something with so much meaning that I thought, this is a way I can get her something meaningful on my limited income. I'm beyond disappointed. The quality is cheap and lower than if I'd bought something costume. The engraving you need a magnifying glass to see. I'm beyond embarrassed to give this wonderful young lady I'm beyond proud of this garbage for Christmas but I have no choice now. Customer Service, don't bother you'll get nowhere. Sad by this scam. Do your research. Read reviews BEFORE you purchase. God Bless and Merry Christmas

I have got thing from Danbury in the past but this is the mother load telling ppl they will get a free luxury wooded case to keep the coin in. This is just a big con if you do a little research on other sites found that 1oz silver coin you can get for about 25 pounds. You are paying for the luxury wooded case in with the coin price.

Purchased a watch for mu son thinking it would be something he could add to his watch collection, when he received it he thought it cost about $
20.00 and said if he wears it he's sure it would fall apart.

Thanks to all of you that left a review. I was going to purchase a personalized purse but I wanted to see if the company had reviews before I do so. It obvious that the customer service sucks. And a special thanks to those that ordered the personalized purse. I would also expect my initials on both sides, not just one side, I'll pass on this opportunity. Posting reviews really do make a difference.

The fact that Danbury Mint's Customer Service closes at 5 o'clock weekdays and is closed over the weekend speaks volumes about their attitude toward servicing their customers. I should have picked up on that sooner. They do have decent stuff, but they place little value on long-time regular customers especially in the area of customer service and meeting delivery commitments. I placed an order for a birthday gift that was needed in 2 weeks. I asked the individual who took the order when would I receive the item if I paid for expedited shipping and I was told I could expect it to arrive the following Monday or Tuesday which was in plenty of time for the birthday. When it didn't arrive by Friday I called Customer Service which was closed because it was after 5 p.m.
and also over the weekend (So much for their idea of Customer Service). I was then told the following Monday, the day of the birthday, that the ring was on backorder until September. Can you believe! The best Danbury Customer Service had to offer were insincere "We're Sorrys" and a "We don't really care attitude". Needless to say I cancelled the order, told them to forget expedited shipping and take me off your Mailing List. Bottom line is, if getting your order by a certain date is important to you, better look eslewhere because this wasn't the first time they let me down this way. It's obvious to me that meeting delivery commitments and providing any kind of meaningful Customer Service does not exist in the Culture of the Danbury Mint. They need to take a page out of Amazon's book and get in step with today's world of Supply Management.
