Spent $200+ USD in shoes online - wanted to change them by a slightly lower number. Was not able to do it despite the policy exchange was supposed to allow for it. Customer service was dismal, not even supervisors were available to discuss. What a mistake and waste of money - never again

This is the only company where "Delivery Method 2-Day" does not mean you'll receive your order in 2 business days. I paid extra for the expedited 2-Day delivery method and when the order didn't ship when I expected I called their customer service. I was told that the order doesn't ship until after a waiting/processing time of 24 to 48 hours. So the 2-day delivery I paid extra for is actually 4 business days (I ordered on a Saturday and was told by customer service on Tuesday that the earliest I will receive it is Thursday). This is why Amazon is taking market share - when I order 2-day shipping from Amazon I receive it in 2 days - not 2 days after they happen to ship the order. Cole Haan should take a lesson from Amazon regarding their ecommerce business.

When you have a company that doesn't allow your online order to be cancelled in minutes of ordering it then seriously something is wrong. Customers can't do it themselves and when you call the customer service agent all I heard was 'sorry I can't do that'. When I said as an alternative, can the agent apply another promo code I had (reason I wanted to cancel and create a new order) which had a bigger discount($25), I heard 'sorry I can't do that'. They didn't even offer to refund me the money and acknowledged that I am stuck with the shoe which I can't even return! Luckily (?) for me I decided to order only one pair instead of 3 as this was my first order with Cole Haan. Surely, this is the last as I can't stand the very robotic 'sorry I can't do that' tune.

So, i ordered a pair of shoes with a 40 percent off coupon and the moment i placed the order. It did not apply the coupon and it had quantity of 2 in my cart so i called them immediately to correct or modify the order and they could not do either! I was infuriated. It is rediculous that they do not allow you to cancel an order. Im sure they can but no matter how many managers i talked to, they would not allow anything so they are going to ship them to me and i will immediately return. What a waste of money and time.

I ordered shoes on Cole Haan's website. The order wasn't processed for 2 weeks - and I was then told one of the items was out of stock. There was no communication from Cole Haan during this period to set an expectation that there would be a delay. Very poor customer experience.

Do NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I used to be a fan of this brand until a pair of shoes I purchased completely broke apart after very few wears. I contacted customer service and they were NOT willing to take any responsibility for the quality issue since I could not provide a receipt. I explained few people ever keep shoe receipts and they pretty much responded with a "too bad" response. I wish I could post pics on this site for the shoe sole failure. I have never seen anything like it! Both outside soles completely cracked and broke apart. The plastic from China failed. It looks as if a hammer broke them apart. I take very good care of my shoes and had expected to keep these shoes for years. Lol. Don't buy Cole Haan if you keep shoes for more than one season.

Nice shoes but unfortunately one of the shoes had a small damage. I contacted support about this and they answered once and then just ignored my messages. Very disappointing.

As close to outright fraud and still be legal as you can get.
I ordered 2 pair of shoes for delivery to Canada and an authorization was taken on my credit card. 3 or 4 days later, I got an e-mail advising that one of the pairs was unavailable so they would only ship one. I immediately called to cancel the order as I wanted both pair or none. I was told that Cole Haan was not organized enough to do that and that I would get the one pair and could then return it for a full refund. Well I got the 1 pair and immediately returned it. However, their full refund did not include shipping and customs - about $60. Talk about an experience that I will never redo. As close to fraud as you can get.

fit too narrow .. fit too small .. over priced.. leather wrinkles from day 1. COLE HAAN did not post my review (with photos).
Therefore, thier items not recommended and reviews are unreliable.

Men's Grand Horizon Oxfords II.The comfort and quality of these shoes are amazing. They are very classy looking. They go with a casual outfit as well as a more formal outfit. This is my first pair of Cole Haan shoes and I am very impressed. The staff was very helpful also. The price point is reasonable, and the quality goes along way. I would definitely highly recommend this shoe to anybody.
