Two years ago I ordered a second pair of dress shoes from Clark's (I have had about 7 pairs total) that did not ship for over a week. Called and was treated very rudely by a customer service agent. Asked for a supervisor and they were worse. Called again the next day and asked for another supervisor and actually got someone helpful who got the shoes shipped, took details on the previous agents and sent me a 50% off coupon. Keep in mind it took 15-20 to talk to someone each time.
Fast forward two years and ordered a pair of casual shoes. 50% off coupon did not work. Ordered anyway because they were already marked down. Again, super slow shipping, almost two weeks to arrive after placing the order. Shoes were the same size as all my other pairs and I could barely get my foot in them. Tried to use the online system to send them back which said select UPS shipping - which did not work. Called 30 minutes, no agent. Called again, 45 minutes to talk to someone who said, they could probably fix it the next day. He was also rude and said originally shipping would not be refunded. Asked for a supervisor who was so condescending and made excuses for the service, shipping, and sizing. Even told me it is always best to try shoes on first. (Since last time I ordered, the nearest retailer of mens Clarks is now 96 miles away!) No offers to help. Finally just chose the USPS shipping options and sent them back.
Called again to speak to a supervisor who apologized for everything but said all he could offer was a 50% off coupon as that was the best thing they could do for my situation. Explained that I got that for a bad agent before and this went much further. When shoes arrived at Clarks they took their full 'six business days' to issue a refund. In the time they were sitting at Clarks I ordered shoes from another company, they arrived, and I took them on a weekend trip and still Clarks had not issued a refund.
Log story short - poor service has only gotten worse and apparently so has the product. No longer a Clarks customer!

It's so easy to order online but so very hard to get assistance when trying to call. They will take your money and don't care about anything else. Needless to say I'm all set on this company. Funny thing is I had a coworker interested in ordering until he say next to me on hold for 30 plus minutes and still no help. Way to go Clarks

I bought Clark shoes. They are not comfortable and it ripped my skin off. I went to return them but they didn't want them back. The customer service is very poor. I have thrown my money away, I don't reccomend buying Clark's at all.

Just bought myself a pair of white flat shoes & handbag ready for my holiday :] The staff were so friendly & helpful especially Ellice who went out of her way to make my visit easy & enjoyable.
Eventhogh the SKEGNESS BRANCH IS BUSY nothing is too much trouble & no waiting ages for attention. Customer service 10/10 :]

Went in to the Wellingborough store after school today as after ordering numerous pairs of schools shoes online from various places for my daughter I just couldn't find some that fit, either to big or small, we walked in and was greeted with a smile we asked for my daughter who's 4 and loves to climb everything like a monkey to have her feet measured so I could order the correct size from the clarks outlet website, I didn't get the lovely ladies name but she went down stairs to grab a similar style to try before I ordered online and she came back up with the last pair of sale ones in my daughters size which flashed it also saved me £22 which was great made my day a bit happier, I checked my receipt and I was served by Thomasena she was lovely and a made a little girl very happy

Went on a major shoe shopping spree on 2 April. I always buy Clarks shoes but needed all sorts including slippers and sandals. Monica was helpful, patient and very good humoured as the floor filled up with the rejected and the shortlisted whilst I made my mind up. In this time my wife made 2 visits in between other shopping and joined in the general hilarity. Bear in mind the shop was really busy, especially for a Monday afternoon. I got all I needed and am very pleased with the service from Monica.

Contacted Clark’s when a pair of my sons shoes lace broke. Unfortunately because they were over 3 months old (5 in fact) they didn’t count as a faulty product however Clark’s sent me a £15 evoucher towards my next pair of shoes. I always insist on Clark’s so I know my sons in properly fitted shoes. This just gives me another reason to be loyal. Excellent customer service. Thanks Clark’s!

Clarks Stimson Wallabees are a bogus defective product , they fall apart immediately, I returned them and they declined to replace them , then when I asked to have the shoes returned to me so I could try to repair them , they told me that when returned the shoes belonged to them at that they had " recycled " them .How would you feel if this happened to you ?

I had an issue with a pair of sandals dyeing my sons feet, and me finding it very difficult to get the dye off. I asked Clark’s for help and advice, and within a few photos and messages with Sarai I’ve had an apology, an e-gift voucher and a quality control investigation opened. This is all despite the shoes being an older model we purchased last year. I didn’t expect the service/ response to be anything as good as this, even though I have always had very pleasant experiences with them. Well done Clark’s and thank you Sarai.

Visited your Bromley shop today after wandering around was asked by Nikki if she could help I mentioned I wanted a brown pair of shoes similar to the grey ones I was wearing Nikki informed me they were an old design but suggested other designs unfortunately none were suitable for me she then checked through the stock list and found a pair in the stockroom although not current design where ideal.

Made an appointment to have a shoe fitting for my son - the store emailed to confirm the booking.
It seems on the day of the booking the store was actually closed - I have emailed customer services twice for an explanation (over a 3 week period) and as yet haven't received a response of any kind.

Complained via email about a manager at the Lowry Outlet attitude, still no reply two weeks later. My son’s shoes fell apart, got advised he should have bought children’s school shoes - he’s 6ft 3! Didn’t have a problem with him buying men’s shoes at time of purchase ! Terrible customer service

Served by Jessica who was very helpful. Measured Max’s tiny wee feet and recommended little pre-walkers. Nice and flexible with room to grow. A very pleasant shoe shopping experience. Clark’s measured my feet when I was 1 - and that wasn’t yesterday!!
