In fact I don't find this site really Christian. They are greedy and most of their women are very materialistic. They call themselves Christians but the majority of them really want a sugar daddy. I tried https://j4l.com/401343
and I found a truly Christian woman who became my girlfriend. They don't position themselves as a Christian dating site, but really their women have purer hearts, higher family values and morals, maybe it's their culture and upbringing thing, but they don't seem to be seeking for material things and they don't look at men as potential sponsors only.

recommendations are of people out of my requested range, not of the same race, body size, nothing. Doesn't make sense - why ask me my preferences?
also - too expensive
website is slow to load.

I've subscribed to several of the top rated dating sites, and CM was listed on everybody's top 10 sites.
Well, needless to say, I was very disappointed.
I asked for a full refund after the 1st weekend of joining, because there were only a handful of members with photos, but hundred or thousands of anonymous users with zero pics. They all had the same user name beginning with mingler_*****, or a series of letters and numbers after the mingler identification.
They were scattered throughout the U.S., and most would send me a smile while I was online. I was getting fed up with these constant inbox messages, which were simply phishing ploys to extort $$ from other legitimate members. I sent them an email about the info, but all I got was a response apologizing for my bad experience.
I would bet that these phishes are able to join without a membership fee, and help bolster their membership numbers too. If they were a professional and actual Christian caring site, they would take measures to correct this problem. I would also bet that most subscribers don't renew, and another problem is with the cancellation of their auto-renewel process. After trying multiple times to follow the online "Stop Subscription", I not only failed to accomplish the task, there wasn't even a tab visible to tap for that process. What a joke, what a scam, what a Total ripoff!!

Well, after reading many reviews, I don't feel so alone! While there are probably many good intentioned people on this site, for the most part, I found that I got too many out of state people who contacted me - all with the name "Mingler ... and a number after it." None of these people had pictures or very much information on the site.
Today I was definitely scammed by someone who posed to be someone he wasn't! I felt very uncomfortable by the text messages that he sent me (my fault for giving him my cell phone #!!), and when I spoke with him, he had a very thick accent and was hard to understand. He hung up when I told him that I was uncomfortable with his text messages and our phone conversation. I felt so violated that I was taken in by someone who looked like a nice man - only to find out that it was someone who was trying to scam women.
I deleted my profile and have a no intention to return. The administrators on this site have to do a better job of screening its members. The site doesn't live up to its name of being very Christian when they do little to protect their members!

After wanting to go on a date, i kind of started the profile but then backed out. For the longest time Christian Mingle hounded me until I finally caved. I should have listened to my first instincts. Now I'm out $75.00 hard earned dollars and for nothing! Not one person replied. Out of all the fake profiles you would think there would be something. F.Y.I. there are NO pretty girls that are real.Save your money guys!!!!!

The app doesn't work....Actually I'm offended as a Christian that they operate as they do and steal people's hard earned money. The profiles you see on the free side are exactly the same ones you see after you pay a RIDICULOUS amount for more profiles? REALLY? The app on Silver Singles is so much better. They match you with your preferences. AND there are Christians on that site. In my opinion Christian Mingle is a scam. They got my MONEY once but never EVER again. ****The only reason christian mingle received one star is I had to choose something. In my true opinion the get ZERO STARS*****

Waste of time and money.. there were literally just a handful of people in my region within 50 miles. But you get constantly hounded by anonymous people without pictures from all over the country on a daily basis. Also get people contacting you for their friend and wanting you to give them their email. Obviously I didn't. This site is constantly experiencing connection problems. So disappointing that a Christian site he's so poor !

Worse experience ever. I was scammed by someone I fell for, then when I tried to report this, no response and unable to get any response from help or support, even after several responses that I sent in, even included information for them to track this scammer! Constant profiles being deleted. Worst dating site ever, rip off, as take your money and people do not respond, or profiles were noting but scam! Lot of red flags. Was looking for good Christian minded men, found nothing but people trying to take advantage of a trusting person! Have tried other dating sites, none have been as much of a disappointment as this one!

I am not saying you can't find a partner on this site but it will be a torturous process. Very small number of paying members. Tremendous number of scammers. Cumbersome communications process. Worthless matching methodology. Hang around the grocery store, instead. It is free, you can see the person and you go there anyway.

I paid $149 to join and have not received one message from a bona fide user in over a month. Every time I go online there are very few new users and none of them in Las Vegas. (I mean only 1 or 2 new users a month from another part of the country) This site is a misrepresented scam! I am so upset I paid all that money for NOTHING!! I get dates in real life but wanted someone of faith since my church is very small. Don't join this site, PLEASE!!

This has been my worst experience with online dating. I signed up on an impulse two days ago and saw that there was almost no one in my area (and of the ten within 10 miles, most hadn't been on in over a month - this is a suburb with quite a lot of Christians). I asked myself: wait, why did I just pay fifty bucks a month for this? Fifty bucks a month? That's a ridiculous price for what you get (you don't get much - there is very little you can do regarding your profile and again, few women online). I am about to refund but I know I won't get my money back (their terms and conditions on their siite make it very clear). That's terrible customer service and a bad way to run a dating platform. They should have a grace period of a couple days at least where you can get a refund, or at least a partial refund.
This website meets the definition of being a scam. It's the crappiest online dating experience I have had yet (and I have tried half a dozen sites and apps). Yes, you may wonder whether I acted smartly when I paid for it but does that matter? The site is way too overpriced for its paid content and does not offer refunds at all. That is simply a bad policy. It does nothing to please customers and sure it protects the company against losing money on refunds, but here are some better solutions: provide partial refunds or grace periods, or even better: work on making it so fewer people ask for refunds.
Spread the word: ChristianMingle is complete garbage.

I was hacked twice on this site and now I am out money and they won't let me back on unless I give a new email address. They claim they are secure but their only response is to make me change. Plus there is little to no matches on this site. As someone of faith you'd hope that you could be in a safe place and your not. So disappointed. Lesson learned

Took my money; imposter responses; network not working; kept getting unqualified for no reason; cannot get online to complain or talk to anyone. Do not use this dating site.

Stay away! I considered signing up for an account. I created my profile and 24+ hours later it is still pending. Meanwhile, every time I visit the site to check on the status, I get a "We are experiencing network problems, please try again." I even opened a help support ticket and NO RESPONSE. I decided to open a support ticket and receive a response 48 HOURS later. Meanwhile, when I go to my inbox, it directs me to an "Upgrade Your Account" page -- when I should be able to view my inbox for free as normal. This dating site is NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY. They are slow and unresponsive. And if it takes that long to get a profile up, you can bet your pains have just begun. Go elsewhere.

I've tried this site twice. First time I was on only a few weeks and shut my profile down because of all the people messaging me then begin to shut down or remove. In less than a month I was messaged by over 37 men who ended up as imposters. When I asked for a refund CM would not give me one. The site is horrible, slow, goes down all the time and overall awful. Online dating presents its own set of challenges without all the mess CM brings to the table.

I signed up, thinking "why not try". In 24 hours they offered two guys who did NOT meet my parameters. I cancelled the service within 24 hours of signing up, but boy did they KEEP my $150. This had to be the worst. I've tried eHarmony, Elite Singles and Match. I'm a busy professional woman who has a very successful career, and hopefully I'll be a great "Catch" for someone. NO TRIAL PERIOD - THEY KEEP YOUR MONEY BUT DON'T HOLD UP TO THEIR END OF THE CONTRACT. Run away, run fast!

I recently signed up for Christian Mingle and all I was able to do was receive troll posts from free accounts that were quickly removed by Christian Mingle. They use to offer chat rooms but they are long gone. I really don't know what they offer for current $50 CAD per month they charge. Do not waste, your time creating even a free profile.

Sean understood my complaint yet was adamant could do nothing else. I joined CM back in December and 85% of all men who contacted me through your forum were impostures. I was upset and disappointed as this never ended. I called to cancel and get reimbursed only to learn I had entered an automatic renewal just over a week earlier. They credited me for the one week renewal but not the 3 months of continual impostors since December. So so dissapointed with your operation

Due to unfortunate event I find myself single and I thought this would be a good site/app. I'm not looking for hook-up, I'm looking for a relationship. So I tried to set up an account with CM...
That was a mistake, the suspended my account and asked for a whole bunch of personal documents, such as bills and IDs. Look this is just a dating site at its core, you should never be asked by a site like this for such personal information. It was not a hassle I needed right now, I'm still trying to recover from the reasons that brought me to the site in the first place.

You can sign up for free to look around. Beware that if you don't completely fill out your profile immediately then the people on the site may view your partial info then disregard you, meaning once you complete it they won't take a second look. It also takes several days to get any updates you do to your profile from being posted. I understand as it appears it gets reviewed by their staff first.
My biggest complaint was that the iPhone app is somewhat buggy in that it takes you to a subscription page and wants you to sign up to pay for a premium plan that gets charged monthly or on other renewal terms.
After a couple weeks of using the app i get a message and when i view it it says my profile will be deleted which then takes me to the subscription page again in order to retain my profile. (Note they say you can use the free version with no mention of time before profile deletion etc. The paid version gives you more control and options of contacting people etc.)
When you try to LEAVE the subscription page it keep going back. If you press "cancel" it doesn't leave the page. So I tried to close the app and restart it and when it restarted it went back to the screen and said that i successfully ordered my subscription and was billed via iTunes for $30 and that it will renew each month at $30.
Well I did not authorize this!!! I called their customer service and got the auto renewal canceled but they said I could not cancel the month paid for and gave me an Apple phone number to call to do that. After spending an hour or so doing all this I still am charged for the month I don't want or authorized.
Now getting to the people on the site, I found that most appear fake or non-christian like. For instance, Im 55 and recently divorced after a long marriage. I find that over half of the women 50-55 on the site are looking for a man that is 35-49. Another words they would like a man between 15 and 5 years younger than them. Some say in the bio that they are serious about the age thing and if you are not within that age to respect their wish and move on. Does that seem Christian like at all? I'm sure there are legitimate people on the site as well and some will pay large fees to stay there waiting for their perfect ideal mate to find them but I have had such a bad experience so far that i am not going to have anything more to do with this.
