I purchased two airbrush paint sets back in March. One set was shipped and then I got an email stating that the other set was out of stock and would be shipped as soon as possible. Two months went by and after various emails and trying to get my money returned they stopped responding. I was never able to get my money back. I will never purchased anything from them again, nor would I recommend them to anyone. I’m not sure how this company has stayed in business. The Illinois Attorney General needs to shut them down!!!

Placed order, they took my money same day in March 2017. Several weeks passed and no communication. Couldn't get a response via email or phone. Thankfully used PayPal and got my money back at the end of April. Ordered from them in the past, don't know what happened. Don't spend your money here.

if you are looking for Passche parts, look elsewhere. If you are looking for good communications, look elsewhere. If you aren't within driving distance of the store, Buy eleswhere, because the only way i got a resoultion to my missing order (they got my money, just never sent the parts), was for me to physically drive to the store , then go pick my parts up at Passche will call.

I have had very good experiences w/Chicago Airbrush Supply in the past. The only odd thing was getting follow-up email, etc., from companies w/another name "Awakening Avatar Enterprises," for instance. But the orders always came through, no problems.
Now, apparently, they're in major trouble? My last order has been delayed--no action for over a week-- and I've had sketchy support response on it. I had ordered paints manufactured by Createx Colors. I was called by Createx, told they're not being paid for orders from Chicago Airbrush. They've been advising customers to attempt a refund/chargeback from CAB and to buy Createx paint from other suppliers.

They will not answer their phone and won't return email messages. I paid extra for 2nd day FedEx but after a week have not received the order. I have a feeling that this company has gone under but is still taking people's money. My next step is to go to my bank and file a dispute, which I will do tomorrow. Very frustrating to have to fork out more money To get my supplies.

I wish that there was a way to leave zero stars. This is a NO customer service establishment. I ordered an airbrush set from them, and could get no information let alone talk to anybody. I finally got a refund after 23 days and that was only after I filed a dispute with PayPal.

I am 110% dissatisfied with this company. I ordered $120 worth of paint on 1/5/17 and today is 2/9/17 and I still haven't received my order. I paid through paypal and disputed the charge. The seller responded telling me that the product should have been drop shipped. I still haven't received the paint. None of their phone numbers work. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I'm still waiting for my product or refund!!

I ordered an Iwata starter kit from Chicago Airbrush Supply as well as a couple of accessories. They notified me the same day that they didn't have the compressor in stock and that it would be shipping from Iwata. The airbrush itself and my accessories shipped within a day or so and arrived within the week. My problem started with the accessories. I ordered an extra cup & lid system (fine) and a lid for the cup the brush came with. Well, it turned out there was a mistake on their website, so I thought the airbrush came with a 1/4 oz cup when it actually came with a 1/8 oz cup. Based on the information on the website I'd ordered the 1/4 oz lid, which naturally didn't fit. Before I noticed the error on the website, I called them up to tell them my lid wasn't working/did't fit and the guy who answered just didn't really want to hear what I had to say and told me to call the manufacturer (like he just assumed I had a defective product - I don't, I have the wrong product). While I had him on the line, I asked about how long I should expect it to take for the compressor to arrive, again he referred me to Iwata and said I could ask them that when I called about the cup. I shrugged it off thinking I'd gotten the fulfillment guy who really didn't know the answers, so after I got off the line I did some poking around and realized what the problem was. I sent CAS an email explaining it and with a picture. No answer. So I called again and left a voicemail. No answer. So I emailed again. No answer. So I sent a message through their website. No answer. So I just called again and their voicemail box is full. Clearly, I am not the only one having a problem. This is disappointing because their prices are competitive and I like supporting small businesses, but this has been really frustrating. This should be an easy fix. Incidentally, about a week after I placed my order I called Iwata for a status update. The woman I spoke to was really helpful. They did have my order, but the compressors are back-ordered. Iwata is expecting a shipment early this week and told me to call back on Friday to see if my unit has shipped yet. Glad I called otherwise I'd have been sitting here wondering if my unit was walking from Oregon to New York.

This is a pet peeve of mine. Companies not listing items as out of stock. I ordered the item on good faith and chose an expensive shipping option to make sure I got it quickly. They were slow getting back to me with the unwelcome news that it will be a week or more before they receive the kit from the manufacturer. Now I certainly won't have the kit for when I needed it (what is the point of choosing an expensive express delivery if one has to wait for a company to restock?) so if the delay is longer than the promised 5-7 days I will ask for a complete refund and not bother this company again.

I placed an order on 3/15 for $62.60 and was told I'd receive my order within a week. Two weeks later, I inquired as to the status and was told that it was out of stock and would be shipped from the manufacturer. Two weeks later (a MONTH after placing my order), I inquired again and received no response whatsoever.
I attempted to cancel my order three times and it was never cancelled. Finally, after threatening legal action, my order was cancelled, but they refuse to refund my money.
It's been eight weeks since I placed the order and I've still not received my refund. I can't ever speak to a person, and all emails go unanswered.
Do not EVER do business with this company. They ask for my order number to 'make it easier for them to reply,' but we all know I'll never hear from them again.

I recently ordered a Awatta airbrush kit from them and have not received it. They emailed me telling me that my order would be sent directly from Awatta. After a week I called Awatta directly, they told me that they had received the order but could not send it due to a reason that had to be discussed directly with Chicago airbrush.. all I know is I have a bunch of projects to complete and do not have the tools to do them.. they are happy to take your money and leave you hanging !!! They are costing me time and money, thanks a lot Chicago airbrush!!!! Your company sucks !!! The biggest group of liars I have ever dealt with!!! Wish I had read some reviews on them before ordering.... trust me on this one if you are looking to buy any form of airbrushing supplies DO NOT deal with this company!!!

Ordered 3 items from them, got a email saying they didnt have these items in stock and what i want to do, I replied to cancel the order and refund my money. Why do they charge you when they dont have the item anyways. Tried texting and calling them all week no answer or or reply from them or refund. Fraud ripoff . Stay clear

Chicago Airbrush supply is not processing orders apparently. I have called 20 times leaving voice messages and emailed them 5 times with no reply. My order is 30 + days old with no idea if it will be honored but they took my money!

DO NOT ORDER FROM CHICAGO AIRBRUSH SUPPLY!
OK, with that out of the way... I ordered a really expensive brush and compressor combo. They pretty quickly emailed me back to say the brush was out of stock. Irritating because they could have just updated their website to reflect that status but they let me order anyway. I responded to their email and asked them to please cancel the order as I needed the items quickly and I would be able to get them elsewhere. No response to my email.
The following day I called their customer service number. I talked to someone who was rude, hardly listened to me and then without any info aside from my order number- told me I would get a refund "in a couple of days". That was 12 days ago.
They no longer respond to emails and no one answers their phone. I left voicemail and attempted to use their web based chat too. Nothing.

Order the Mack Aluminum Tool Box and a Mack Wipe tool. Like the others, I have called and emailed but I also emailed Mack Brush if they every got a order from Chicago Airbrush and they said they did but wasn't paid for. I guess they also tried to contact them with no luck. Talked to paypal about a dispute and initialize a claim, they still don't respond. Point of my review is that this company has bad business practices and take your business elsewhere.

If there were zero stars, I would give them one. They were quick to take the money from my bank account when I placed my order. Still, over 1 month later, I have not received my brushes, nor any response from them. I have emailed them and called them on a regular basis, but no response. Wish I had read all of these bad reviews before I placed my order. I hope other artists get the message to steer clear of this rip off company.

They have no stock - they ship directly from the manufacturer. The website says 1-5 days, but I finally got my tracking number and it does not deliver until next week - 3 weeks from ordering. Do yourself a favor and get form Amazon - you will get the item in 2 days if you have Prime.

I have ordered from this company a total of 3 times. And all 3 times, have been not so good experiences. All three orders were items that were out of stock, however, I wasn't notified that they were out of stock until the next day. Then the items were supposed to be in Stock within 7-9 business days. Every time, I had to call after day 11 to check the status. Only to be greeted by someone whom sounded like they had a mouth full of food. And to be told that he found my order but he has to have his manager call me back later. I have never left a negative review, however this is just unacceptable customer service. I didn't allow the first transaction to make me negative towards the company, nor the 2nd because I understand that things sometimes happen. Not every time though. I guess in order to get the superior customer service that other patrons talk about, you have to live within driving distance and have face to face contact. I know that internet orders are not important to this company. I won't be ordering from here EVER again!!

My item was never shipped and the phone numbers were not valid. One was to Labor and Delivery at a local hospital and the other was to a woman that claimed to have never heard of Chicago Airbrush. I believe this business has, or is failing. I would not buy from them. I have purchased from them in the past and had no problems. This time I thought it was odd that I never received a confirmation email after I had placed my order, but the money was taken out of my account. BEWARE!!!!!!

Ordered 10 cans of stencil tac 7 months ago and have nothing called them 3 months ago and was told would come in 2 weeks. This happened before and when I finally called and requested a refund they charged me a 30% restocking fee and never refunded the shipping fees which was quite a bit. Don't think they are reliable at all or good business practices!
