If upgraded room doesn't appear on website CALL. They will gladly upgrade room and it's still cheaper price then competition websites. Customer service was very helpful

We were apprehensive after seeing some of the negative experiences but every email to Cancelon was replied to within 24 hours. When we arrived at the Four Seasons everything was smooth at checkin and we even got an upgrade as Cancelon had passed on that it’s my special birthday. Would definitely use again and recommend as we saved so much money with a discount in the first place and then an upgrade - amazing!

Their Customer Service staff was very helpful when I had a problem with my reservation. They worked hard to get the problem resolved and were persistent when they could have just let it drop. I so appreciate all their hard work. I would use them again!

I purchased 15 room nights in a major city, over $4000 worth. Only after the transaction did I realize that this was not just another online hotel broker, and I panicked. Key people were travelling and there was zero margin for errors or inefficiency. I chatted with Olga. She reassured me all would be fine, even offered to verify reservations. When i was still nervous, she offered and gave me a 100% refund. I am grateful for her excellent service, her empathy, and representing her company's integrity. I will be sure to use them for my future personal travels.

I booked a 5-night stay in the San Francisco area on this site for $1,150.00, but after staying at the hotel, the bill only came to $949.61, a difference of over $200.00 (that is, a 21.1% surcharge). To make matters worse, the hotel charged me an "amenity fee" amounting to $68.52, which they said wasn't included in the Cancelon charges. So the bottom line is that, Cancelon charged me $1,150.00 for a $881.09 bill they paid, effectively charging me a 30.52% surcharge.
I have two issues with this: 1) there was nothing said in any of the booking process about Cancelon imposing any sort of surcharge, which is, at best, deceptive, and 2) while I can understand they need to make money, 30.52% is, in my opinion, excessive.
Lessons learned: 1) I'll never use this site again, and 2) in the future, I'll check directly with the hotel to see if their rates are what are actually advertised on these 3rd-party sites. This experience suggests direct booking may be the better option.

I booked room through Cancelon for two nights. I had planned on spending the weekend in Columbia for the weekend. It was their homecoming, so there were very few rooms available. I noticed an email confirmation and noticed there was no confirmation number. I've booked rooms through other hotel apps like Booking.com, expedia, Hotel.com and many others. Both in the USA and Europe. So, I called the company to inquire about it and they said I'd be receiving within the next hour. About an hour later I received a call saying my purchase had been refunded, because someone else purchased last room before me. I then called the hotel to see if they did have any rooms available. They had 22 available rooms! after finding that out I called Cancelon and told them the situation. They said the price had been raised was no longer available at that price, yet it was still listed on their site for the same price. I then called Cancelon back to inform them and they said the hotel had raised the price so the offer was no longer valid. I immediately call the hotel and booked through them for almost the same price . So if you're in a situation where you know rooms will be scarce, I highly suggest you don't book through this company. Their site is misleading and obviously not kept up to date. I did have reservations when using the company, I had never heard it was not available on the Android or Apple. This is available on all the other hotel booking companies, so a person can cancel or make changes if needed. I can't stress enough how poorly run this company is. I'm thankful I've used expedia and others, so I that I had previous knowledge of how travel companies should work. I'm hoping this review will help anyone who is in a situation similar to mine.

It was easy to make a reservation through Cancelon, and I got a very good price. They were very responsive when a question came up. I was a little concerned, never having used Cancelon before, but everything worked out smoothly. I live in the US, the reservation was for a hotel in Crete, not just an every day kind of thing, at least for me. I can definitely recommend Cancelon.

I was super paranoid after booking through Cancelon that I was scammed, especially because at first my confirmation said I would get an official confirmation approx 24 hours before my stay. I called hotel in Colombia and they had a reservation for me and I kept checking. Everything went without a hitch once I arrived. My room was ready and nice and hotel was pleasant with a delicious breakfast. This wary traveler was shocked and relieved. And happy because I got the room for approx $100 cheaper than through hotel directly.

They failed to honour a reservation. They had wrong prices stated. And they are keeping my money for 2 days, claiming that they issued a refund, which a never saw in my bank. If this continues i will go to the Police. Very bad customer service also, they offered just a 15% off next booking, while their prices are significantly worse than most sites.
