I thought I purchased a 74.00 power cable, what I actually bought was a 43.00 power cable, a 29.00 membership and a 1.63 bucket. I was told they were giving away buckets. Cable did not work and only thing they would refund was the 43.00 cable. No refunds on memberships. I promise you I will never set foot in any of your stores again, ever. I will spend a large part of my camping trips describing your business and it will not be good. I am just glad you only got me for less than 100.00. You will not get another chance.

Shredded a tire in Columbia, SC, made it to a gas station where a Good Samaritan (Randy) took me to 4 places to get a tire and rim (of course the rim was bent) on Saturday, 8/17. Our third stop was camping world. Everyone was extremely kind and we called several places where the tire and rim could be ordered but would not arrive until Monday. Steve (the manager) stepped in, took a photo of the rim and tire and went out the door. Steve came back in a few minutes later with a “new” (to me) rim. He told us to take it, have a new tire put on the rim and get back “on the road”. Because of Steve I was able to head toward home and my traveling companion made it to work Monday morning. The people who helped us out have restored my faith in Human Kindness! Not one person wanted or asked to be compensated for their time or the help they gave us. Camping World, Thank You and Steve (manager of your Columbia,SC store) and All those who helped a couple of stranded “old” Ladies out of a jam ;)

Today we purchased a 2020 RV at Camping World of Indianapolis in Greenwood Indiana. The salesman, DJ, did an awesome job and treated us like valued customers. We were first welcomed by Austyn, who was very courteous and she got us connected with DJ, whom I have been speaking with over the phone. Both of these individuals we're very patient and answered all of our questions. DJ stayed with us until we hooked up and we're ready to roll down the road safely. I financed this purchase through my own bank with a simple phone call, but not before I had to deal with the finance people at Camping World who were insistent upon my financing through them. They wanted to make the additional money on the finance back end and would would not take no for an answer in running my credit. As I said, I have my own bank. they were my best friends right up until the point I told them I would be financing through my own bank, then they became somebody who only wanted my check and we're not polite, even to the point of rushing us through the process. They did take my check however. With that said the overall experience was an excellent one and the day was saved for Camping World - in my eyes - by DJ and Austyn - Thank you!

Bought a camper in march of 2019. It is now august 2019. Still no tags. Still no keys. Turns out there was another lien on it. They won't take it back and just give me my money back and pay off the loan. Terrible experience. Marcus Lemonis is full of s*** when he says "if you're not happy, i'm not happy." This has been the biggest headache and most BS i've ever had to deal with. What a crap company.

I wrote a very negative review ( like the vast majority on here). I can not seem to find that review now.
It has been 6 months since I bought my Thor Chateau 2017 from CAMPING WORLD of Robertsdale , Al and my VERY negative opinion of the business has gone downhill dramatically. I have a had a list of things go wrong with this coach. I was lied to over and over again as I started learning within MINUTES after signing on the bottom line. I was told that due to age of the coach the balance a full warranty applied. There is NO warranty.
There were numerous issues at sale of things that were not fixed as per our agreement. They took the coach back 4 times and each time it came back seemingly untouched. After the for the time I told them to get their hands off my coach. I fixed those issues myself. One of which was that one reverse light did not work. They said it just needed a bulb. Lies. I replaced that bulb TWICE and to this day I have only one reverse light.
The furnace would not light completely and they said it just needs to warm up. To this day I have no heat in my coach. I AM IN CANADA!
The list goes on. They lied and lied and lied. Bottom line is I will never set foot in any Camping World again and I will NEVER buy a Thor product again.

Well once again took trailer in for warranty work, half done, half not done. I personally hope I never have to go back. Talked to manager on duty on Saturday, told him that part of the work wasn't done, he politely told me someone would contact me by Tuesday, oops never happened. This warranty has been on going since April. Also missing half of the instruction manuels, called so many times to get them, well that didn't happen either. I will never recommend camping world to buy a rv or the service dept. Just purchase then they could give a darn about you. It's hard to even give 1 star. Liz Lorang

Talked to L.,internet saleswoman, in New Braunsfels (San Antonio) store about a used camper they had online. She told me floors were solid and unit looked in good condition, appliances worked and there was a small crack in fender skirt on one side. Turned over to S.B. in sales who seemed very nice and eager to help. I asked him if there were any issues after seeing it had been marked Sales Pending but then released. He said no problems, the other people bought something else. We made a 3 hour trip to come see the unit. First I opened outside storage compartment door. Floor looked dark stained. Found an opening in floor covering and stuck finger in it. Finger went right through the floor! Stephen had no look of surprise on his face. On alert now. Went inside to find base molding paint peeling. Pulled back paint film and stuck finger through wood molding. This unit had serious water damage. Stephen told me the unit had been plugged in for couple hours to allow air conditioning to cool it down to insure us that everything worked as indicated. Opened freezer door, cold enough to freeze. Good. Opened fridge door, hot. Alert again! You know what Stephen told me? The cold works it's way down. I must look really stupid or something. This ain't my first rodeo. At that point I knew these people were not disclosing any problems unless you found it. Buyer beware. I will not shop at any of their locations after this experience. Truth is one virtue that I cannot overlook.

We are second time buyers from camping world of Chattanooga. The first time was a great experience in 2014 with our crossroad z1 301bh. So with that said we bought a new 366mb avalanche in 2018 and it turned into a nightmare! There was a list of problems from gray tank valves not opening to entrainment seating falling apart. So we called camping world of Chattanooga tn. and advised them of the problems we where having and also ask about our exterior protection which they forgot to apply had I not ask that would have been 900 wasted on my end we had purchased? To make a LONG..... Story short after 3 trips and 6 months The terrible customer service and even worse the service manger whom I might add was a grade A B___h who didn't know her job made it even worse thank god she's gone!!! So after picking it up after 5 months later. nothing had been fixed and camper was completely nasty awning stained from weather only one plug in had been fixed not bad for 5 months!! So I decide I would. just live with the terrible decision I had made! Shortly after I got it home I was cleaning it and noticed the rear air didn't seem to be blowing cold (my fualt) so it still had warranty on ac unit so I was gonna try this one more time before I lost my warranty.( Finally head in the right direction) So I decide to take it to camping world of knoxville and waited while they checked the unit out.. In the mean time I disclosed all my troubles to jill the customer service representative at the counter she was anger that I was going through all I been through. So I decided while I was waiting to browse and and look at campers with dale whom was great to deal with. After about an hour I had made my mind up I was getting rid of my camper and was gonna take a huge hit to my wallet upside down but I was willing to due so to get rid of my headache camper. So we sat down and wrote up the new deal sheet on new camper. Not knowing the district manger just happen to be there the day I showed up!!!! So when dale presented my deal sheet to the DM he ask why is he trading, so dale started telling all my troubles. The manger called me to the counter and apologized for my experiences and ask if he could make it right. I agreed, a week later my camper was fixed!!! Everything was finally fixed and detailed like it should have been from the word go. The service manger Andy took it and over seen the repairs personally I can't say enough about the experience from camping world of knoxville tn. Andy, jill, dale and service techs took the time to make it right and offered to go above and beyond to help me. I would highly recommended camping world of knoxville tn. At the end knoxville sent Chattanooga a bill for 3000.00 in labor cost for repairs shame on Chattanooga!! I'm glad I was able to leave a review so I hope it helps the next person. WAY TO GO KNOXVILLE GREAT JOB!! Thanks Nick liner .

Camping World - Longmont, CO is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. They should be shut down by CW as an embarrassment to the RV industry. This review is no different than MANY others written on other review sites. There are MANY other RV businesses that can help customers find equipment and services and I would highly recommend going anywhere but here.

Worst experience ever (and I've had some pretty AWFUL ones at their actual store and service department). I ordered a very expensive item online, got one email with an order number, nothing else, and no updates. Finally checked today for the SECOND time on status (first rep couldn't give me any status whatsoever) and this rep told me the item was out of stock and they were cancelling my order. I don't know how Camping World stays in business. This is so unsatisfactory. Take my money, but don't give me any updates and then BOOM you cancel it when I call to check for the second time. I'll never buy again from them or have them lay one finger on my camper. UGH!

In the middle of June we had an incident with our camper which entailed the outside kitchen door flying open, hitting an object and being knocked half off the track. So we filed an insurance claim and dropped our 2018 Cruiser Embrace off at Camping World of Nashville shortly after. In short, the camper needed a new outside kitchen door. Both insurance and camping world said it should take no more than 3 weeks.
At drop off we urged them to order the door part immediately as it is a long lead time item (2ish weeks) and we had a camping trip in 4 weeks we didn’t want to cancel. We called every week, sometimes a couple times, to check in. Most times the response was, “I don’t have access to the information on that and that person is out for the day but they’ll call you back.” Mind you this was at all different times of the day so I’m not sure when this person is in. They NEVER would call back or call in general whether it’s because you called or the part is in, THEY DO NOT CALL YOU. Less than 1 week out from our camping trip when we called yet again because we wanted to pickup they finally admitted that they never ordered the outside kitchen door and it would be another 3 weeks. Needless to say we had to cancel our camping trip.
At this point we’re nearing August and the weekly calling and no answers continue. Every time it gets to the point we should be able to pick-up they just had another excuse. “We can’t get your camper in for a couple more weeks to do the repair”, “the part we ordered didn’t fit so we had to order another”, you get the idea. Camping World had our barely a year old camper for THREE months when they finally said “Well the outside kitchen door is on and works but the shocks didn’t fit so those are going to be here in a few more weeks.” By this point I had enough. I confirmed that the kitchen door was installed and decals were applied and asked them to just ship us the shocks and we’d do those ourselves. We’d already missed out on 3 months of camping and didn’t want to leave it there any longer as you could imagine.
When we went to pick up the camper end of September the outside kitchen door DID NOT EVEN CLOSE. They didn’t even acknowledge us when we walked back in to tell them the kitchen door wouldn’t shut, we had to go in twice before someone came out to look at it. We waited THREE HOURS while they “fixed” it so that it would close and latch properly. I wish that was the extent but as you’ll see in pictures the repair itself looks AWFUL. Our year-old camper looks like we hired some random guy off the street to repair it. To make matters worse, corporate has had my info for a week and there has yet to be a resolution. I sent them a complaint prior to picking up our camper and all they did was forward what I said word for word to the general manager of Camping World of Nashville and he TEXTED me and asked me to remove my review because he felt he had been more than accommodating... I have no doubt there is something not okay with texting a customer and asking them to remove a review. The review didn’t even exist, it was a facebook conversation with headquarters. Then I finally talked to “corporate” mostly by text over this past Saturday Sunday and got passed off to another woman on Monday who has yet to give me a resolution. I was told I’d hear back Tuesday so on Wednesday I called and she didn’t even seem to remember me until she spent a few minutes on the phone looking through “her files.” Said she’d call me back… well it’s Thursday now and I have no missed calls, texts or emails.
For the sake of your sanity DO NOT BUY FROM CAMPING WORLD. We love our camper but it’s an exclusive brand that can only be repaired at specific places and I swear I will be trading it in as soon as I possibly can just so I never have to deal with Camping World again. Horrible business practices, just absolutely blows my mind. Feel free to share, I want to warn as many people as possible to avoid them.

I came into the Camping World RV center in Salt Lake City and spoke with a gentleman name "R" in the parts department. I needed to know what to do for my RV to prepare it to live in it full-time during the winter. "R" spent over one half hour with me and gave me some very useful information. I realize some people have had a poor experience with Camping World, but my experience was amazing. I will go back and consult with "R" again in the future. He was so personal and so helpful!

We bought a brand new Winnebago Motorhome. It was warranteed for a water leak with the sewer system. Upon picking up the motorhome, there was a large scratch in the upper passenger side. We got that taken care of. Then, the battery wouldn't hold a charge nor could we charge it (to run the engine). I contacted Camping World where they told me it would be almost a week for service. We need the motorhome to stay in while seeking cancer treatment at Moffit Cancer Center. I asked for other options as we need to utilize the camper. Glad they have options when we give them payment, but no options when they need to warranty the vehicle. Very disappointed.

We needed to trade our big, old travel trailer in for something smaller, and we are regretting it now! A year ago we traded our 36' travel trailer in at Camping World in Wood Village, OR for a brand new Jayco Jayflight. We took a huge hit on the trade-in (we got less than 50% of what we still owed), but needed a smaller trailer. After a nightmare with financing the new trailer, we took a huge financial hit registering it in Colorado. A year later, the "maintenance-free batteries are shot", the water pump doesn't work, and the refrigerator was installed incorrectly, and doesn't work... it has been at the Longmont Camping World for repairs all summer (because the Camping World in Golden refused to return my numerous requests for an appointment in the Spring), and they just told us they have to remove the entire roof! It is 1 year old, and an expensive piece of garbage. I'm so disappointed! We were told the roof and refrigerator should be covered under warranty, but not the garbage batteries they put on it, and not the water pump (even though we winterized it according to the owner's manual). We were told this was a "well-built" trailer, but that is obviously a lie. I'll NEVER spend another dime at Camping World!

My wife and bought a 2019 BH270 Pioneer travel trailer from Camping World, because our home was being demolished, cause of hurricane Michael. Sales man was great, but as soon as they brought our trailer, we found the screen door won't close properly, water pump was broken and leaking, electric water heater doesn't work, propane bottles we're empty ( we're told we're full), toilet leaking at water connection, main door won't lock cause of deadbolt, propane leak detector keeps going off about once a week and there are gaps on the doors where we can see outside. It will take a very long time to repair it at Camping World, they don't have any repair person to come 3 miles to repair it. They gave us a card to call a private repair person, but it also takes a while plus it's more expensive with service charges even using Camping World's warranty. We are not happy Campers!!!!!

I hate to even give them 1 star but it didn't have a zero! This may be a long review but should be read. I also reported them to the B.B.B. and I'm waiting to see how it is handled.
my name is Brandy Phillips. I bought a camper in April of this year. I have had several issues. Let me start by saying I paid full listing price for the camper I bought. They actually charged more than they were supposed to.
Problems since day of purchase.
I had 2 dates set for delivery that the camper did not come. No one notified me that they were not coming. I had to call and ask where they were, both dates that they did not show. Then, finally they brought it. It was supposed to be cleaned which did not happen. It was dusty. The refrigerator still stunk like a dead animal. The vents were filthy. The windows were all dirty. The floors, shower, cabinets, sink and toilet were all dirty. Nothing was done. We can't get the smell out of the refrigerator. The fireplace was broken and supposed to be fixed. It was not. I had a pricing issue, I was charged more than I was supposed to be. I finally, after many attempts was told it was for a destination package which is not listed anywhere or approved by us. It was added without my consent. It is supposed to be for hoses. I don't have the hoses they say I paid for. This is the newest issue as of today. I have not received my title or tags which I paid for. I have spoken to and even went to the clerks office in my County and they absolutely do not have any paperwork for us on this. I can't take it anywhere or get insurance on it due to this. I have sent multiple requests this to be dealt with and that request was sent to several people at the Nashville lot. At this point I want to return the camper and get my money back. I feel that Camping World of Nashville is careless, lacking customer skills and careless when it comes to appointment times, funds, guarantees were in no way fulfilled. My next step is to take the paperwork, emails, texts and marketplace messages to the attorney. This has now been over two months since the purchase and none of the staff I have dealt with is willing to deal with it. Since I filed the complaint with the BBB they wrote that they had come to a resolution with me. I had not spoke to them at that time. I certainly did not and have not come to a resolution. Camping World did however get with the BBB the day I filed the complaint with the BBB. To bad none of the employees, managers or even the C.E.O. Marcus Anthony Lemonis could find the time to speak to me.

Bought new 2019 28’ travel trailer and the slide won’t work, hot water works when it wants, door don’t close right, the sway bar they installed fell off and out big dent in my tail gate ac is not cold. I can go in and on. They won’t get me in for repair for 3 to 4 weeks. It’s not like I have and old camper and need service. I’ve taking trailer to 3 camping worlds and they are all to busy to work on it but not to busy to sell and send you out the door. I just took possession on it. I won’t buy from them again. Beware they are set up for huge profit to seek and that’s it.

Three days ago, my husband & I went to Camping World to purchase a table on the front page of their current ad which expires on July 7. The 4-foot table was out of stock, but we were told they had a truck coming in the following day so they would have more then. They were also out of the 5 gal blue buckets also in their ad, free with any $20+ purchase. My husband went back the following afternoon, only to be told that they had not gotten around to unloading the truck. They told him to come back tomorrow if you still want the table. So, today we returned for the THIRD time, they did not have the table on the floor. Their inventory showed that they had one and we waited while they searched for it. They couldnt find the table and the 4 foot table on the front page of their ad had been discontinued and they would not be getting any more. We asked if they would sell us the 3 foot table for the ad price of $29.99. NO, they wouldn't do that. We asked if they could make us a deal on another table since this was our third visit. Answer, NO we can't do that. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that it was now 5 pm and the manager had just left. We ended up purchasing a table half the size of the 4 ft. table that we wanted which cost us an additional $13 and no bucket. We just opened up the little table only to discover that it is only 24 inches high. So very frustrated! We are Good Sam's lifetime members and I'm wondering if we can get a refund. I don't feel that Camping World values their customers and they are guilty of false advertising. Bish's RV is right next door, so the next time we need something, I think we will go there first.
