I love Boxed.com! I have a membership at Costco and it's the best company out there. They have the best prices, free and quick delivery. I would recommend trying out this company.

We received our order and on opening the box found that the honey was loosely packed being tossed around the box and leaking honey over everything inside. See attached photos. Wrote the company several times with no response.You would figure for a $600.00+ order they would have made sure it was right. Never again.......Thank you

So I ordered, and thankfully when I had questions I was answered instantly. I didn't have to wait days on end with no answer like so many other people here thankfully. Infact the answers were so darn quick it was rather odd. I went through the long and arduous process to actually pick everything out and then check out.
RED FLAG NUMBER ONE!
1. Right before I managed to check out two items disappeared from my cart. One was a pile of toothpaste and was quite expensive so I wasn't too worried. The other was a free item, it was plastic bags and it was Their Brand of Plastic Bags, you'd think that any reputable company would be PUSHING Their Brand Name Items on you, usually that's the case!
RED FLAG NUMBER TWO!
2. The 10-15% Discount that is supposed to automatically exist for your first order GONE! No where to be seen! I had to do an independent Google Search Twice on another device in order to actually find the discount; it was not automatic!
RED FLAG NUMBER THREE!
3. It came SHOCKINGLY FAST, faster than Amazon even! We ordered on the 11th, it was shipped on the 13th and we got it on the 15th. And one of these days was a Sunday, the 13th the day it was shipped. (I felt sorry for the employees for this.) Now you could call this a "GOOD thing", but when the order got here, the batteries were STREWN EVERYWHERE in the box, yet the overall large box, which was BARELY Tapped closed did not appear to have been drop-kicked (Which yes, UPS Employees will do). The box with the batteries seemed to have been INDEPENDENTLY Ripped and Kicked open, BEFORE PACKAGING. and when we went though our order there was not ONE SINGLE FREE ITEM! We were supposed to get a Trial Size bag of Coffee, their Name Brand "Prince and Something" and we were supposed to get a free Rice-A-Roni personal sized serving, bucket thing. NONE of the Free stuff was there.
RED FLAG NUMBER FOUR!
4. I went ahead and sent an E-Mail immediately telling them that I didn't get my Free items. The SHOCK was that I got a response, INSTANTLY, like they actually had someone waiting for a reply. It was WAY CcccRrrrEeeeEeeePpppYyyy! After some back and forth they said that they were sorry and they would give me a $7.00 credit on my next order to make up for the free items I didn't get. I asked how long the $7.00 was good for, they said for eternity. ... Too good to be true and it was after this that I was BLOCKED FROM THE SITE FOR BEING A ROBOT.
Yes, you hard me right a ROBOT.
I can NOT even get ON to the damn site.
So yeah, my experience. Here I seriously thought that I was not even going to be able to let anyone know what a pile of crap this place is.

I have used boxed a few times and been generally pleased but this last order was a disaster. Five items were missing (box was still sealed , so never packed) but worse yet, a bottle of hot sauce had opened up and spilled it's entire contents throughout the box. Their response? A five dollar credit ( the hot sauce alone cost that). That was good for a laugh. Lost a customer here. FOLLOW UP : a rep followed up with a more than equitable solution. Could have been avoided by just initially shipping the damaged / missing items. Review score adjusted upward accordingly.

This is my update of my review of boxed.com. I can not seem to be able to log in sitejabber.com for some reason. So I am posting my review up date to online business review. BBB said boxed.com has not responded to the complaint and has closed the case. Boy that ought to make boxed.com sit up and take notice (LOL). BBB said if I wanted to pursue my complaint to contact Consumer Affairs. All they will do is record the complaint and if enough complaints are recorded about boxed.com they will do something about it. What, I have no idea. I have nothing left to be able to do anything about this other to hope people complain and not stop complaining.

the "free" products ruined my package - i rec'd 3 free rolls of paper towel and 1 of the rolls was wet when i opened my package (very gross) on top of this the free rice-o-roni bowl was opened and rice spilled everywhere when i opened my package. Also the package took 4 days to arrive, I could have had my package the same day for a little over a dollar more if i would have purchased through amazon.com. Very disappointed and will not be shopping at boxed again.

So I bought popcorn for my son's lunches and when I received the brown box, it was required of me to open the box to see the actual product. The actual product was incredibly small, less than a handful of popcorn was in each bag. The company is misleading and their "boxed" packaging tricks the buy to think they are buy standard stuff but it's not. I contacted the company to return the product but I was told if I opened the brown box to look at the product that I was not allowed to return. I will never buy again from boxed and I will return to amazon where I spend $1500 a month. Boxed will not stay in business long with how they conduct business.

Been ordering from boxed for several months now and without any problems what so ever... that is until now. Placed an order on Wednesday 10-02-19 still had not heard anything about my order on Friday 10-04-19 their website claims to ship your order within 2 Business days. Mine did not so I emailed and and asked About where my order was and when I could expect to receive the order or at least shipping info, on my order. Late afternoon Friday I got an Answer explaining that since I ordered something that required to be shipped with a cold pack (choclate) They didn’t want my item to get stuck sitting in limbo over the weekend and have the item damaged when it arrives. they also charged me $2.99 extra for this cold pack for one bag of choclate and then don’t send it out on time and hold it over the weekend. It has been 5 days since I placed my order with no end in sight. I finally received my shipping info late on Monday, 5 fulls days after I placed my intial order. They offered no compensation for the delay and no other explanation as to why it took so long for fill my order and ship it out to me. I may or may not order from them but I will be monitoring the process and since they don’t seem to concerned about losing customers I may look for somewhere else to do my shopping.

I’ve ordered from boxed 10+ times. I’ve been ordering from them since 2016. The best deal you can get is signing up for boxed up, as it gives you free shipping on every order. The products ship next day, and the orders arrive fast via UPS!
I wish they gave more discounts, but they make up for it with the free samples and giveaways. They give 2 free samples with every order and most of the time they are full sized items. They also run great weekly giveaways! This is a wonderful site and I recommend it to everyone, it’s like the online version of Costco or Sam’s club! I recommend the site for sure!

I had decided to try Boxed. On my very first order, UPS called me to tell me items had been damaged and things were leaking. She sa8she would return the box to Boxed. I then emailed customer service to tell them the issue. They said that it wasn't their fault because they have no control over what happens to the package after it is shipped. Very true. But, if the items are packaged correctly and caps are checked to be sure they are on tight, then the chance of items being damaged greatly decreases. They claiming responsibility and shoved the blame all on UPS. They did refund my money, but I will not be ordering from them again.

Tried to place an order two nights in a row, but kept getting returned to the "I'm an not a robot" site -- and when I clicked the annoying little grid correctly, it would pop up grid after grid until I bailed. Once I was actually able to locate an item I wanted, but when I searched for a second item, it returned me to the "I am not a robot" nonsense.
Sent them a comment and they sent me a pre-formed reply about clearing my browser buffer, restarting the browser etc -- which of course I did after the first night.
Don't know who these folks are, but their approach to customer service seems to come from the old Soviet Union. In what little I did see of their site, their prices are no better than Amazon or Walmart, and more than Costco. I'm also wary of their claim to deliver fresh food in good condition. So all in all, not worth any more of my time.

I have been a loyal Boxed customer for a few years now (pretty much from its inception), and I hope they always stay in business! It has been such a great way for me to shop for two households on a regular basis in bulk (Boxed could verify my order history). Conveniece is key and I just love shopping with this company. I ordered 2 24 can cases of coke zero cans, half with a gift card and half on my credit card. When I got home the box was there and appeared to be in good shape, but when I opened it, the top case of soda was leaking liquid, and all the cans were drenched with soda. The box had gotten soggy and I found one can still sealed but empty of liquid. The second case underneath was in-tack but it was a mess to have to open everything that was dripping wet. I have attached a photo of what I found when I Opened the box, I did manage to salvage most of the cans, but the last thing I wanted to do when I got home was bring a leaky box into the house, and spend a 1/2 hour wiping off cans of soda. I requested a refund for the damaged case and they agreed but only gave me back half the cost of one case because a gift card was used. I am now out half the gift card. They wasted more of my time back and fourth with emails rather than just providing the promised refund.

I got an e-mail stating that it would be delivered within 3-5 working days on the 5th August but nothing came.
I have e-mailed three times now and not had one response.

I signed up for Boxed today. The first thing I looked at was coffee because I use ALOT. Boxed has a 38.4 oz container of Folgers Classic for $11.99. I get a 40 oz container at Walmart for 9.96. I had to look no further. It's no wonder they don't charge fees, they charge more than retail.

I have an issue with any company that will not allow you to review their site/product until you give them your name and email address. UM, NO! And looking further, this is an Asian based company... with all of the information stealing from China, makes me very cautious that I cannot see prices without my information. And the founders are all Asian based names. I would hope they are American born citizens but with our current economy and stealing of information, any site that will not let us in to review their product with our our email and name... shady!
