RAM security posts fail
I bought a retractable/telescopic security post from bollardsuk.co.uk This was manufactured by RAM Grup UK Security posts. Within 2 years the CAM lock started playing up with difficulty unlocking the post. Clearly this causes an issue if you cannot get on or off your drive. I expected the post to last more than 2 years given that they are fairly expensive & of little use if you cannot unlock it. I contacted by the manufacturer whose attitude stank. The cost of a new lock is extortionate - it would be easier to buy another post from an alternate manufacturer. I also contacted the Company I bought the post from Bollards UK who were likewise of little use. I would seek an alternative supplier for your driveway security post
