Bye! Bye! Boden! I refuse to give this company another dime for their poor quality items. I honestly can’t think of one year where Ive gotten an item that didn’t fade after a few washes or the thread coming loose.Dont even get me started on the clearance section! I have ordered several times from Boden and continue doing so.
The styles are amazing and quality. It's a little bit expensive but with using the discount codes it's very reasonable.
You get what you paid for.
Excellent customer service ..very polite and helpful.
I never really write reviews but as I have such consistent good experiences with Boden they deserve a good review!

Dreadful quality - soles and now heels fallen off boots that have only been worn a handful of times. Boden customer service have been no help whatsoever because boots are more than a year old. Maybe they haven’t heard of sustainable fashion??

BYE BYE Boden. I ordered an expensive jumpsuit on 11/29/18 to wear for Christmas, New Years and my birthday this past week. I STILL DONT HAVE THE JUMPSUIT.
Ordered it 11/29 - got an email from Boden 6 days later saying "Sorry it's delayed - expect it on 12/17". Then an email 7 days later saying "It's shipped". It arrived at 6:00pm CHRISTMAS EVE. SERIOUSLY?! So much for holiday parties. It was ridiculously oversized so I reordered another size on 12/26 - "expect it in 6 business days." ITS STILL NOT HERE. So much for wearing it to my birthday party this past week.
After a little more online research, i found similar clothing i liked just as well and they SHIP in 2 BUSINESS DAYS. Adios Boden - what horrible service you provide.

No rudeness, just shockingly bad website experience. I ordered 2 items for my daughter's birthday/xmas before going to work overseas. One never arrived - no information - apparently wasn't in stock, but website took my order without mentioning it.
I won't use their website again - they can't be trusted to deliver their products -pretty much the epitome of uselessness.

Ordering and delivery were very good thank you but sadly I am amazed at how thin and cheap looking my long sleeve Breton stp shirt is. I will keep it as my mum brought it for me but I I have no confidence it will last more than a few washes and I will not be buying again. The quality has gone right down hill for the prices charged.

I found a VERY handsome tweed windowpane sport coat at Boden USA online, and at an unbelievably good price on sale. So I took a chance on a company based abroad (I live in NYC) and ordered online. It arrived faster than I expected, the quality is quite good, and it fits like a glove! It gets many compliments.
So I've bookmarked their website for future browsing. Regular prices are a bit high, but I'll be keeping an eye out for sales. I'm always willing to pay a bit more for high quality and real non-polyester materials. Cheers.

I love Boden, the range they have for my toddler girl is awesome! The times she is praised for being well dressed is innumerable. Thank you Boden. Furthermore, I was processed some returns through the Post Office and they messed up my tracking number and after 14 days, Boden simply refunded me the whole sum, no questions asked - even when it was clearly the PO's fault. Great customer service.

I use this brand mainly for buying presents for my several nieces etc, and on occasions for gifts. Yes, it is a great English brand, with its own unique style and it is on a whole very good quality. What upsets me about this brand most of all, when using their online service at least, is that they continue, despite numerous complaints, to use the most incompetent awful courier service Hermes for their deliveries. I had orders left outside, despite laminated sign outside saying DO NOT LEAVE OUTSIDE, they simply ripped it off and left the parcel in full view of the main street. Last Boden order was dumped behind the rubbish bin, it got completely wet, it was just the fact that the clothes had plastic covers over them that they did not get ruined. Hermes did not even bother leaving a card, just lied about having delivered it and that I signed for it, despite the fact that i was 700km away. They loathe to redeliver because they get paid so little for deliveries, and you as a Boden consumer have no means of contacting them, or specifying delivery date, or if you are not in and put forward your next door neighbour, say, Hermes send you a confirmation, but actually it does not go to the couriers, so they continue to come on the days you are away, that is if they do not just dump it somewhere or leave it outside. It has not been a single time where the package was not somehow damaged. The courier delivering said "they just throw things into the parcel cage" no care is taken, no wonder then. After ordering again, and getting confirmation yet again that it will be Hermes, I have decided, this is it. I will not use Boden online anymore. I do not know if paying substantial amount of money for the express delivery means they send it through another, competent, professional courier, I just do not know, but I refuse to pay that much money for something that is basic service for all major online brands. Nope, no more.
Last note for other customers, if unfortunately, you have to return something, please take photos of what you are sending and the paperwork. I once returned 3 items, they refunded me only 2, when I called about that, the girl sounded dubious, as if though I was pulling a fast one on them. Made me feel like a thief, I said, you have to be joking, if you just look on your system, I have been loyal customer of Boden for the last 6 years! Long story short, I escalated the matter and they fixed the issue, but not before I sent photos, that luckily I took, and not for Boden but for something I was telling my family about the order. I dread to think what would happen if i did not. So yes, make sure you follow through your refunds, because there is no guarantee that all will appear in order every time.

returned an item and there was some confusion about exchange rang to query this and spoke to a delightful man who was so patient while i looked up the exchange code, First class customer service always, with no quibble exchange up to 1 year fantastic use them as often as i can.
I have never been disappointed with anything i have bought from them.

Boden clothes are good quality, well cut and they last. They are not cheap but I think you get what you pay for. Their Clearance section is always worth a look (I recently bought a pink jacket I had been eying for a while and was very happy to get it at a reduced price).
One criticism - I always use the click and collect option and in the past my parcels have been delivered by DPD. This time I tried Hermes as the nearest collection point was more convenient, but when I collected the parcel, the box had been so badly damaged it was open on two sides. Fortunately Boden had swaddled my lovely jacket in plastic which protected it.
I would not trust my Boden parcel to Hermes again so I'll be going back to DPD in future.

Ordered 2 linen shirts, one was dispatched 2 days later, the other one wasn’t later on it’s status turned into reserved item. There was more than 1 available when I was placing the order. Is it so hard to manage your own stock and set customers expectations right?!

Have ordered from Boden for years and have always been very happy. Last two orders have not arrived, I have had to chase these up.
On checking their courier has told a pack of lies (Hermes), about delivery. The first they couldn’t find the location, next order there was restricted access. Total lies we live on a main road, with no access issues at all. We have never had any problems getting parcels or post in the last 20 years! All I can think is that the carrier gets paid for a second call out!
It has put me off ordering from Boden going forward. From reading other people’s reviews it would seem that I am not alone!

Just moved in from abroad, new to Leicester and new to Boden and really liked one of the schönes einzelteil online
and my hubby ordered it online to arrive following day for me to wear it on a party night.
To our surpirse we have received a call with a withheld number around 8pm from a customer service guy with european accent, not understood most of the things he said but we gathered that our parcel will not be delivered on the following day and he was apologetic about it and he said as a good will gesture he will drop the price down to 25% and free same day delivery.
He also said he can drop it off around 10:45pm to my address after finishing his night shift.
We thought it's a good offer but how are we going to pay for the product and he said he will explain when he comes to drop the parcel.
There was a knock on the door at about 10:50pm and there was this tall guy with a beard, informally dressed with an eastern eu accent holding the package and the item was very nicely packed but not in Boden logo bag.
We invited him in but he said that he is getting late and said '£65 cash please' and we said we want to do the bank transaction to Boden
and he said this 25% offer and free delivery is for cash only.
We have started to feel a bit uncomfortable with this conversation and said we don't have cash at the moment and he said not to worry keep the cash ready and he will call again the following day and we asked for his number but he just left with the parcel.
We were in shock when he left and decided never again with Boden.
This guy knows my number, name and where abouts i live so i just don't want any trouble. Thanks

Love this company, ordering online is so easy and the clothes are excellent quality. sizing is spot on which is something a lot of other companies cannot claim. Boden make the best long sleeve tee shirts and Breton tops, they last forever.

I used to quite like Boden, although their clothes were a little over priced and predictably middle class. Generally speaking though, they are good quality. What has really turned my stomach is the recent,massively sexist ad campaign which is so disgustingly backward for a modern company it is beyond words. Please Boden, cut the gender specific colours and assumption that girls like flowers and pretty dresses and understand that this is only because they have been conditioned to do so. My little girl is a tom boy and will not wear a dress and hates pink, likes to climb trees and wants to have the same opportunities as men do in life. Pleas don't pump out any more sexist crap and please start doing some girls clothes that aren't so pathetically gender specific!
