I always talked so highly of Bluefly and recommended it to all my friends. Not anymore! My husband brought me a Louis Vuitton purse for my birthday! I received it and I noticed a week later that it looked like I have had this bag for a while and the brown leathery straps started to peel. The customer service was horrible they didn’t help me out and I could not send the bag back.

Always had good experiences here. Authentic quality clothes and bags. Their pricing sometimes is pretty low other times not that great but usually you’ll find decent deals.

If I could give them negative 10, I would. In November I order a bag from them and I was charged twice, they said they couldn't cancel the second order so to refuse the shipment when it comes. No second shipment came. The tracking said that both orders were sent in the same box but when the package came there was only on bag in the box and the invoice said that it only contained one item. I called them back and emailed to tell them that I only have one item and charged twice. They said that they could see that I only received one bag and they wanted me to take pictures and they would process my refund. After weeks no refund, they kept saying that they were working on it, so I disputed it. They told PayPal that they shipped me two items so I had to appeal and supply all the emails where they had stated I was due a refund and there was only one item. So later bluefly contacts me and say we will give you your money today if you drop the PayPal claim. Contacted PayPal and they said not to do that and that makes no sense and if they refunded me my money, it would cancel the dispute. So I contact bluefly shared that information. PayPal later told me that bluefly said they only charged me once, which was a lie because the charges are 1 second apart and they are in my activity. I contact bluefly 20 times after that and never heard back. So after over 2 months of fighting I won my dispute.

On top of everything else posted about Bluefly it’s important to know the costs of the items sold. I saw men’s Gucci slacks “for sale” on Bluefly site for $795. Non refundable. The problem is that you can buy the same pants at Gucci for $690. And return them if you need to. And be waited on by a knowledgeable salesperson. And, in the NYC Soho store, be given a free smoothie while you shop!

Bluefly runs a terrible business. I was unable to return an item that had never been worn and was bought to give as a Christmas present and it did not fit that person. Never anywhere did I see that it was a final sale...and I looked for that specifically. I even reviewed the receipt and it was not on there either. Also they said there was only a two week return policy from the time they ship it to you. Sizing was all off on their products too. No consistency.

I purchased Jewelry from Bluefly that took more than a month to receive and when I received my merchandise, it was defective. The cost was very expensive and the quality poor and damaged. I returned my purchase immediately and have yet to receive a refund.
I have been waiting for more than a month and their customer service will not respond to any inquiries. If you looking for quality of merchandise and quality customer service DO NOT PURCHASE FROM BLUEFLY.

I ordered two items on Dec 27 2018 7:02 PM both in a size 10.5 they shipped me one item in a size 7 trying to get in touch with the company to send this item back i'm having a problem as to where to ship this item back to no return label this is unacceptable.My second item i'm still waiting for trying to be positive about the situation that they sent the right size on my second order. I finally received my sandals to find my order was the wrong size again , i just want to return my entire order with a FULL refund thank you . I ordered a cashmere sweater and a Roberto cavalli wallet shipped stuck in transit missed its delivery time, I even called the post office after holding 3 hours 3 times so total of 9 hours. The usps does not know where my package is. Bluefly hangs up on me while in mid conversation, they refuse to issue a refund purchase I have not received or take care of the customer. The WORST shopping you will do online DO NOT SHOP WITH THEM, shopping is suppose to be fun but this gave me stress and major anxiety. Dominique hung up on me, Jessica promise her manager would call and never did and kya said she will deal with this package stuck and usps has no where it went. I even filed a claim which is not my job that should of been there job to do that. Now I will dealing it with PayPal and my credit card company. You want a bad shopping and headache then shop with them. If I could give them 0 star or negative star, I would. Very upset! It just shows on the reply that bluefly knows better then the usps government postal service that my package is coming when I filed a claim and they have no clue where these items are, thank you for your general response with no solution or resolution to your customer! IF YOU WANT THIS KIND OF SHOPPING THEN SHOP AT BLUEFLY! I’m so over this I really wanted the item but it seems the usps doesn’t think I will get it, I will get my money back! Total Fraud, how does 2 shipments from you are lost? They are coming from each coast and usps has no idea what happen to your shipments to me! Update got a call from Jackie or jacklyn 12/4 and she has not received a email back from the vendor who shipped my item and talked to a yoani and she still gives me the same it’s in transit the last scan was 4 days ago suppose to arrive priority mail 3 day last Friday! I had a terrible experience with this company and a very disappointing customer service experience. The mistake was their fault and they Didn’t care. It’s true how they either stop replying to your emails o simply keep sending you exactly the same answer as it they were copying and pasting what they wrote you before. It’s incredible how this company can’t care less about its customers and nothing seems to bother them.
Bluefly should consider these complaints and make it a goal to improve their “customer service policies” wich they really suck!

Bought two expensive dresses and want to return them THE NEXT DAY the company went out of business. HORRIBLE business practices! I wanted to exchange the dresses and they KNEW FULL WELL they were closing their doors and took my money and sent the dresses STATING THEY ARE RETURNABLE!
DISHONEST AND SHOULD BE FINED FOR THEIR ILLEGAL, MISLEADING ACTIONS.

This is so sad. Bluefly WAS a really good company and then something happened. We are a retailer who sold our items online to customers. They were all delivered successfully to the customers but we have not been paid for the sales. Reason is? They just shuttered their doors on Friday without telling their customers, retailers or even their employees. Fat chance any of us will get any of our money owed.

I placed an order for two items that went together. I received an email saying one of the items they sold me and charged me for was not in stock. I immediately canceled the whole order with an agent on the phone.
I then saw on my bank account that I was charged for the whole order not once but twice. I called them to correct it and they charged me a third time for just the item they had. I told them four more times on the phone and via email that I had canceled the order. Then I got an email saying the order was being processed and would ship soon. I contacted them again and told them not to ship it. They said it was too late because it already shipped. Four days later I received an email with a tracking number that showed it had just shipped out. I refused the package when it arrived and put it back into the outbound mailbox with “package refused, returned to sender”. I cobtacted my bank who initially refunded my money. Bluefly told them a bunch of lies and stole the money back again, which my bank for some reasons allowed.
They are criminals and a terrible and dishonest company. I will never ever do any kind of business with them ever again.

I ordered a pair of Aquatalia boots from Bluefly.com on November 9, 2018 for $195.96. They shipped on 11/13/18 and were received a few days later (around 11/18/18 or so). I wore them twice without incident. The 3rd time I wore them, (11/30/18), the sole of the heel of the right shoe had come off. I don't know where. I had walked 2 blocks on the sidewalk to run an errand. It wasn't raining or snowing or anything. Immediately, I returned home and contacted Bluefly, by phone, to explain what had happened and ask that the item be replaced. I was told (on the phone by Jennifer T.) to take images of the top of the shoe, the sides, the heel and the entire sole. Jennifer said that these images will be sent to the manufacturer (Aquatalia) for review, a process that could take up to 5 business days. I sent these images by email, while still on the phone with Jennifer T. I sent a follow up email on 12/8/18 asking for an update as I hadn't heard anything. On 12/10/18, I received an email message from Dominique stating that the images were reviewed and "We are sorry to learn of your dissatisfaction with insert item and while we sympathize with your situation, sadly we cannot accept this return as it has been worn." I called and Dominique was on the phone. She explained that the situation was "escalated" for review higher up and restated the contents of the email quoted above.
This seemed a great deal for a premium item from a reputable company. But it was defective after the 3rd time of light, everyday wear. Is it that Aquatalia can only be worn 3 times? Bluefly isn't holding to its slogan of "Bluefly, where style comes together," as my style only came together for 2 wears. "Bluefly, where style comes together for 2 wears." Why wouldn't Bluefly replace this defective item? I don't want a refund. I want effective shoes.

Bluefly are refusing to return my emails and of course the customer service number isn’t “accepting calls”.
I’ve returned a shirt that was delivered to them beyond the 7-10 return processing they ask for. This shirt was $300.00.
I have emailed them several times and they refuse to answer or even acknowledge my return. Please do not order anything from this company and have to return it. From my experience it’s high way robbery. I have reported their actions to the Better Business Bureau

They knew they were going to close why didn't tell the vendors and employees?
They waited it out, took all the sales from Xmas didn't pay vendors for sales for the past 2 month's, I am owed about 10,000 from sales from Dec 1 to Dec 31, And for sales from Jan 1 to Jan 31.
So they knew they were going to close and not pay vendors for merchandise shipped to customers.

I placed and order last Friday. Received and an email with an order number unlike the usual Bluefly order numbers. And the order does not show up in my account. I emailed only to receive a reply from Michael who never gave clear answers and even told me he tried to contact me. There is no record of calls on my phone. Tried to call Monday but the phone lines were unavailable. On Tuesday did speak with Jamal who said he would contact the vendor. Spoke with him again, He seemed annoyed at my second call and said he had not heard back from the vendor. I also asked about the odd order number. Jamal said that Bluefly is changing it's system. What's up Bluefly? I have shopped the site for a good 15 years. Please fill my order or give me my money back.

OMG!! Why are you still in business! I wanted to experience for myself and I was served! I should have listened to the reviews. I ordered a pair of boots last weekend, so far no updates. No email with tracking number. When I track my order on their website it says shipped. Where is my order the shipping address was NY, NY and your website list your company being based in NY, NY. Why does it take so long. You guys have a lot of bad reviews, why don’t you improve your service? I called so many times and reply to the email you sent confirming my order. Please advise!

Horrible horrible horrible. I bought a pair of pants and they came in defective and clearly worn. I contacted them through email and they demanded photos. I happily provided them and did not hear back for 5 days (or even until now, no reply!). Then I call their main customer service help line and I get an automated message saying they are 'unavailable'. Mind you, it wasn't as though the company said they were unavailable. No just a standard cellphone message. Not to mention I called in the middle of a weekday during their business hours. My package has no return label and the company is blatantly ignoring me. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. End of story.
