I received the bike quickly and it is a very nice piece of equipment. However, the rear wheel went out of true after a couple of kilometers and I will have to get it fixed. Bikester will pay up to 40 euros for the repair. Also, the rear derailleur high and low detents were not set, so I immediately shifted the rear derailleur into the spokes. These things will eventually be routine maintenance, but it would have been nice to receive it really set up and ready to ride.
Packing and shipment were totally fine. Set up was a bit more laborious than I thought, with setting the detents, re-adjusting both derailleurs and tightening many of the screws throughout. Like I said, way better bike than I could get locally, so I am happy with it.
Just need a bit of quality control on the set up end of things.

I bought two Outwell Contour Lux sleeping bags - 2019 model as advertised on their site. Within hours the order was split into two and they arrived from different company locations on different days. When they arrived they were different models with different logos and different sizes so they would not zip together properly. Difficult to get an email response, impossible to talk to anyone - always 'on training' until I mentioned the Consumer Credit Act in an email and demanded a refund. I disputed the charge with Amex who were excellent and I got my money back. I spent over three hours messing about with all of this and returning the products. I sent a photograph of the bags to Outwell and they told me they were old models - not 2019 as advertised. Appalling products, appalling service and clearly not a company to be trusted given my terrible experience. I would prefer to pay double than deal with them ever again. Be warned.

First of all, sorry for not posting in French, not my first language. Good solid product from the Bikester shop, did exactly what it is supposed to do. Instruction leaflet is reasonably clear but most done in graphics and a bit difficult to get the best from the computer (Bryton Rider 10). Luckily, Bryton have an excellent video o Youtube which helps a lot. Packaging is good and there are lots of extra mounting rubbers for your bike computer. Quite happy with it so far. Ordered shoes from bikester.co.uk arrived according to US sizing not the UK!?
Missing information about the default sizing on the web. Had to place new order stating US size.
Also there is no comment box in the order which would definitely be helpful in current matter. Finger X for a good size this time.

Good service. Terrible logistics with UPS.
I received great service and at a good price. it was more difficult to recieve the parcel. UPS is a terrible company to work with. I couldn't change address of delivery until after the first delivery. I ended up going out of my way and pick it up at UPS because honestly - they suck.

I made an order yesterday at 19:00. I immediately realised I made a mistake on an item and there was no way to change or cancel the order.
They only attend calls from 10 to 17, so I wrote them twice through their contact form and called today at 10 am.
I did not get any response to the email and by phone they told me they cannot cancel it or change it any more.
So they provide NO WAY te amend an order if you make a mistake.
It is very annoying as any other online shop will allow you to cancel or change the order, specially if you have an online account with them!
Very disappointing. Will avoid ordering here anything else in the future.
EDIT after Bikester response: You provide no way to contact you quickly, I realised immediately. If you do not want to have a service where we can contact you for this matter at 7 pm, then you should provide a way to cancel the order automatically. This is just improving your website as any other online shop does.

Unfortunately the slick website does not translate into operations.
An order for two childrens bikes to be delivered to France but paid for by a grandparent in the UK was much too difficult for Bikester, quite ridiculous. An example of inexperienced customer service behaving in that rather old-fashioned 'business-first' model. Intelligent, adaptive and modern customer service typically follow customer-first policies.
The order for two bikes was then bizarrely split into two separate deliveries - UPS and DHL/Colissimo. One bike arrived well before the other (7 days delivery for the 1st bike) and the other still in transit. Bad news for jealous twins. Furthermore, would it not be 'Green' and 'Good for the Environment' to send the bikes together, instead of wasting fuel and adding cost - ultimately paid for by us the customer - sending two delivery trucks to our home. Delivery cost for the unassembled bikes (in a box) was surprisingly high.
The bikes are decent and good value, my only concern is the unusual use of a very narrow hub + axle spacer on the rear wheel which may prove a weak point (why?)
Room for improvement, but also room for thanks for the nice bikes.

VERY BAD AFTER SALES SERVICE
I bought a expensive bike, less than one year breaks broke, I still keep the copy of the warranty, I contacted after sales service, I sent pictures of the defect and the copy of the bill but NOTHING for months and months.
They just answered telling me that they will investigate, talk to the supplier, etc etc but no solution.

Bikester was one of the only places that had all items I needed in stock for the reconditioning of 2 transmisions on two different bikes. Order the goodies and they arrived as expected. So far so good! Can't wait to install everything for my summer bike trip :).

BIKESTER, the company that will not cancel you order. … So, you should know that if you make an error while making an order online (even if you realize it immediately), it will be too late for you to cancel it. Nothing on the website to recapture your right to an error ! I've just learned by phone with one the German employees of Bikester (she called me shortly after my first post) that there is no other way around ! She says it's not her fault and that they are too big to react to personal matters (nice)... They will ship you the bike (you don't want!) and will ask you to refuse the order at reception and then you can get into the process of getting reimbursed.. How ridiculous, especially when you want to make a present and you realize you have sent the wrong product. You have to tell the person they have to refuse the upcoming surprise in order for the sender to be perhaps at some point reimbursed. What a waist of time. And how unprofessional. I was going to change my order but I'll do better and trust elsewhere. Please like this to warn your friends. NB I'll keep you posted about the reimbursement process.

You will always get an email back stating not to contact them anymore - disconcerting! Then when you have a Fox warranty issue on the bike you bought they pass the buck to you and say oh just contact Fox directly. They won't spent the time to fill out the warranty paperwork and obtain an RA number from Fox for you, so you can send the shock back to either Bikester or Fox.
Lower prices = poor service.
Buy your bike at the local bike shop they will help you better.

You sent me a used selle italia superflow saddle, what was muddy and a bit injured at the rails. It's not a serious problem but it would be better if you informed your costumers about the condition of the products you sell.

Bought a MTB which was ok - given the price. However, I wasn't biking at all, so maybe I'll need to update this comment in the near future.
Most important thing is that there is no customer service. I wrote them e-mails and I'm waiting until today for their answers. It has been 2 weeks now. So I hope I'll have no problem with the MTB as I would stay in the rain waiting for those XXXXXX to help me.
