Went to buy bedsheets from blount…Went to buy bedsheets from blount county Tn. Belk. Nobody was in the home goods department to answer questions or ring up sale. After walking about 50 yards I found 2 cashiers. Each had a line of about 8 customers. The lines moved with glacial slowness. I placed merchandise where I found it and left. Pathetic. Will never purchase from them againWill never purchase from them again. Still have not received my item that I ordered. I asked for a refund and was told I need to wait longer, before I will be refunded. I was unable to contact a customer service representative by phone even after multiple tries and waiting on hold for over 15 minutes. I tried at least 5 times. I only reached someone after multiple emails regarding the order. DO NOT RECOMMEND buying from them. I will never buy from them again. Recently shopped at Wilmington NC store…Recently shopped at Wilmington NC store on Oleander Drive. Elaine assisted me in the purse department. Elaine was the friendliest, most helpful cashier that has ever assisted me in any of the big department stores. She was cheerful, kind and really is an excellent representative for the Belks store. In fact all the employees I have encountered at this store are excellent. But Elaine just went over and above. Good job Elaine and Belks!! This store has unsanitary bathroomsThe Belk Store in Cookeville had the filthiest public bathroom I have been in in a very long time - and I am 68. There was no soap in any of the 5 or 6 containers to wash my hands. The manager could not be found and the only clerk I could find was trying to help about 5 customers by herself. Belk department store at Haywood Mall…Belk department store at Haywood Mall in Greenville SC is violating Fair Housing laws by not making the entrance/exit easily accessible to those customers who are wheelchair bound. The have a button to open the door on a wall that they cannot even get to without getting out of their chairs and only one door opens making it difficult to get out of. If there was an emergency, they would not be able to get out quickly. Their clothes racks are so cluttered, it is hard for customers to move around. Please fix this issue immediately or I will be contacting the Fair Housing Offices to file a formal complaint.
