Let me start by saying I've experienced excellent customer service for an issue I had with a couple of hundred dollar order. I reported the issue, had response that day and couple of days later, a replacement is on its way to me. I really appreciate how they handled the issue and the swiftness of the resolution.

Company did send back the battery free of charge. After sitting on shelf for three days it failed the load test!!! They DO NOT stand behind their warranty!!!!

Ordered small alarm backup battery for about $30. Within about the warranty period, 45 days, the alarm system showed battery failing. The last battery from another supplier lasted several years! We reported the battery failure 2-3 weeks after the warranty period and they responded that they could do nothing because the warranty period had expired. Naturally! We technically don't have a claim but it has been my experience with other, consumer oriented companies that the warranty would have been honored so close to the expiration date. I too should have checked their reviews first! $30 waisted! I wonder if they are knowingly shipping marginal products. Might be worth looking into by a consumer watchdog. You might consider going elsewhere.

I ordered a $410 battery and it showed up a week late. When it did finally arrive the box was damaged so i refuesed shipment. The crappy company said they would only refund $250. I told them to just send me another battery undamaged. They said no. So i got screwed and they made 20% "restocking fee" for nothing.

I have done business with batterymart for years and have always gotten great service from them. I've bought several Odyssey batteries and a couple of chargers from them and will return when I need something else.

Crappy web page.. My bike only uses one type battery so they send the wrong one and tell me its my fault.. They want me to pay for the return shipping which is half the cost of the battery. Customer service puts you on hold forever and then got some nasty chick on the line who told me it was my fault for not checking the size. They are the worst ever.. go elsewhere!

I ordered a YT12B-BS battery for my motorcycle. When I opened the box I the model was not a YT12B-BS, it was a Leoch model EB12B-BS. I went to the Leoch website and a search of that model battery yielded a "no result found" message. That made me a little suspicious regarding the age of the battery, so I called Leoch customer service to find out how to determine the manufacture date. A very nice lady told me, and it turned out the battery was 14 months and nine days old when BatteryMart shipped the battery to me. I'm not a battery expert, but I know that batteries sulphate when sitting idle for that length of time. At that point I called BatteryMart and talked to Tammy. She could not, or would not, get the concept that when a customer orders a YT12B-BS he doesn't want an EB12B-BS. She offered to take it back, but I would have to pay for the shipping. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she connected me with Stan. He was as unhelpful as Tammy. Having been in a service business for 45 years, I simply couldn't believe this company was that stupid. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH BATTERYMART.

SECOND BATTERY FROM THEM THAT DIED RISGHT OUTSIDE OF WARRANTY. CUSTOMER SERVICE WONT ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS AND SENDS YOU TO GO GET ALL KINDS OF READINGS FROM THE BATTERY TO THEN TELL YOU WELL YOU'RE SOL, ITS OUT OF WARRANTY. AVOID AS THE PLAGUE AND GO FOR A SHOP THAT, ALBEIT A LITTLE MORE EXPENSIVE, ACTUALLY STANDS BEHIND THE CRAP THEY SELL.
And in response to their comment: I am US based. I know who I bought from :D

I bought 2 batteries. First for FLIP MINO HD camera. According to website they had one. Was sent battery they said would fit. It didn't. Now they they want to charge me a restocking fee. Run away from this site. I still haven't received the second battery for an older phone I use as a backup.

I bought a high end battery from them for my 98 Harley. In less than a year it would not hold a charge, even on a batt tender. I fully charged it and tested the cranking voltage on start with my DVM..it was 8 volts, indicating a failed batt. To be sure, took it to AutoZone for a load test, it failed as well. Sent it back under warranty for replacement, they sent it back saying it was perfect. 4 months later it failed completely.
They are incompetent and devious, you will never see your warranty upheld...take your money elsewhere.

We ordered a simple 12 volt rechargable battery from batterymart.com on July 21st and paid for extra 2 day shipping. However, on August 1st we still hadn't received the package which was very strange and upsetting so we checked the online status and they sent the package back without notice! We only got 2 attempted delivery slips, which were also strange because we never requested to sign for the package, we just thought they would leave it in the mail room. BatteryMart also neglected to give us this detail too. They claim that that ups left 3 notices, they didn't only 2, and that's where Battermart's customer service really went downhill. We have been coordinating with this utterly rude and completely useless woman named SHERRY BOYCE. Everytime we are in contact she tries to blame anything she can on us! How on earth is that a good quality in a customer service specialst?! Anways, she suggested that maybe a neighbor ripped off the 3rd notice, took our package for us, anything to not just refund us for shipping. She even told us to call ups ourselves, pay them a return item fee, and then start a new order! Outrageous! Never have I ordered something and the business say that I have to sort it out with ups myself. I surely didn't pay ups express shipping, I paid batterymart, so sort it out, Additionally she lies when she says she will call or email you back the next day. Every time we have had to contact her first. We have been waiting almost 21 days now for a refund for shipping and this Sherry refuses. When I asked to speak to her supervisor she patched me thru to her voicemail and still haven't heard back. I'm beyond frustrated because we NEED this battery and they don't seem to care at all. The worst customer service experience I have ever encountered.

I ordered and expensive motorcycle battery for my Indian Chief which was designated a made for my bike's year and model. The battery did not fit. BatteryMart made me pay the $40 for return shipping and then when they received it, claimed it was damaged and would not supply a refund. I'm out close to $200 and have nothing but a black eye. What a horrible company!

I entered the year, make, and model of my motorcycle on their website and it selected a battery that was supposedly "cross referenced to be compatible and replace" the OEM battery. I purchased the battery and it arrived promptly. However, it had terminals that were incompatible with my OEM cables. I called Battery Mart and informed them of this problem fully expecting them to say we'll pay for return shipping since it didn't fit as they had advertised. Instead, they said I would have to pay for return shipping before I received a refund. The service woman stated that it was my fault for not verifying the battery fir before I bought it. I tried to tell her that the Battery Mart website recommended this battery as OEM compatible. I also told her I was a return customer having been previously satisfied on another purchase. I told them I would file a complaint with the credit card company and they still said it was my responsibility to verify the battery they recommended. I hung up and called my credit card company and filed a dispute. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE EVEN FOR A REPEAT CUSTOMER. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

I bought a laptop battery from them 9 months ago, before it packed up. Although they advertise a 1 year warranty on the invoice, and repeatedly on their website, they now tell me that it is only a 6 month warranty. False advertising at best - fraud is closer to the point. By the sound of the reviews on this website, the batteries are generally rubbish. Unfortunately I didn't check them out properly before ordering the battery, if you are wiser than me - DON'T TOUCH THEM, THEY ARE CROOKS!

We bought a battery for our quad when it wouldn't start. The other battery was the original and worked great since 2002 (12 years). Purchased this one and the quad still wouldn't start. We authomatically thought it was another problem with our quad. Took it in to have repaired. They could not find anything wrong except the battery was dead which was the new one we purchased from Battermart.com. They tried to charge it and it wouldn't take a charge. This was noted on the invoice which I attached to my emai to them. They sent me a prepaid label so I thought they would going to hold to their return policy which was within the given time frame on their website. I just received a partial refund. Why would I receive a partial when the battery was junk.
Think twice before buying from them.

Purchase this last year and it lasted 2 months before failing. I was outside the 45 day return period, so it would cost $30 to send for 'testing' with no guarantee of replacement. It may just be a bad battery - which happens - but the customer service department made little effort to resolve my issue. I'd suggest buying elsewhere.

Hi guys...proceed at your own risk using Battery Mart .com for any battery purchase. I just had the worst experience imaginable. After only 6 weeks of using the battery that I bought from them (for my Kawasaki Vulcan motorcycle), it would not hold a charge. Battery Mart’s customer service told me I COULD NOT use any certified shop’s test results as confirmation that the battery was bad. I had to submit it for “their” testing. I reluctantly agreed to ship it back... But, I wasn’t a complete fool so I thought, I had it tested and included the “BAD” test result printout with the battery for them to see when they received it. After TWO weeks of waiting for them to test it, they responded and told me the battery tested “GOOD”!!
Folks, these people are downright crooks and CANNOT BE TRUSTED,. and they definitely do not back the products they carry. To top it off, their customer service was horrible! Some of my emails were not even responded to. Their response was simply, “Oh we’re sorry somehow we missed seeing your email.” Very unprofessional.
Check out these losses.... I’m out $90 bucks for the initial cost of that battery;.. $20 dollars for shipping it back to them;... another $90+ dollars needed for yet another battery (from a different supplier of course), AND, now they want to charge me for their cost to send the bad battery back to me!! Incredible. Battery Mart is a complete joke in my opinion. Please be fair warned. For anyone who’s had success with them, consider yourself lucky.

Bought two replacement batteries ("Replace Leica M8 BLI-312") from them for my Leica camera. Price appeared to be good until I got to use them. After three uses they no longer charge sufficiently for taking photos. Batteries should not be allowed on the market, for they only wind up polluting garbage dumps. Rather than fight, I will avoid this firm in the future.

Last Wednesday I have received the Scooter Battery I had ordered. My first surprise was that the battery wasn't new. I went back to the web site, and althoough the battery shown on the picture (with manufacturer seals) is new, it wasn't written anywhere that is was new, I should have read more carrefully (It doesn't say anywhere it is used though). The add read that it came fully charged. From the green corrosion on the positive pole of the battery, I had my doubts that it came charged. I installed the battery Wednesday night and the battery wasn't charged. On Thursday I have use the charger (new) that I have bought with the battery. Charger works fine, but the battery doesn't charge at all. I have sent an email to Battery Mart on Friday morning, I didn't hear back yet. I will keep you up to date for you to know how they will resolve this issue.
