Had my g9 three weeks and the cuffs were all full of Pilling. The customer service said its not a fault of the material but mine. I've worn it twice in 2 weeks. How can that be my fault. 295 for a jacket that pulls easily from a company with zero customer care

I paid £425 for a tweed Harrington only to find that it has been reduced to £250 just 4 weeks later. I’ve been a loyal customer for many years. A lesson learnt, all be it an expensive one.......no more Baracuta for me.

I wish I'd read these reviews before buying.
After purchasing from Baracuta I never received a dispatch email, when it was meant to be delivered within 2-3 working days. I contacted their 'live help' and they were very slow to respond, often ignoring me. I requested they cancel my order - which was still in Milan - and refund me. They refused. I called their head office and when they saw it was a UK number they picked up the phone and put it down again.
I've spoken with DHL and they said the company can cancel but they just wanted me to receive the item, try it on and send it back if I don't like it. Me telling them I no longer want their item is not getting through. I'm not convinced they're going to refund me, despite them saying otherwise.
Yet again today I spoke with someone in Italy and asked to speak to the Baracuta department and, again, I was told they'll be in tomorrow. Then the call was hung up. I'm starting to wonder whether they're even a legitimate company, as my Paypal dispute has a gmail email address for them, and the wrong telephone number.

After two consecutive terrible experiences with the quality and customer care which is absolutely tone deaf and take no pride in their brand and has customer respect and even self-respect I'm done with Baracuta.
First G9 harrington (light grey) got terribly discoloured all around the jacket after one season of sporadic wear (in Denmark, so it is not the sun). Second G9 harrington (brown) has uneven colour fade on the cuffs after very slight use. Conclusion; they look great but the quality is lower than random no-brand 49 Euros harringtons.

I paid extra for Express Delivery, expecting the package to be shipped the day after or the day after that. But after a week the package was not shipped. The support was helpful though, assuring me that they would refund the Express Delivery I paid.

Still waiting for a refund 21 days after they received my return. I'm shocked and stunned by Baracuta, and it seems I'm not alone.

Worst buying experience ever. Ordered an expensive jacket and they sent me a cheap women’s dress. Refuse to provide refund. Customer service is unhelpful. BEWARE. Do not buy from this disreputable company.

The quality of materials does not match the cost
I have numerous baracuta G9 jackets. My latest is from the current owner of the brand.
it cost £275, is dark navy, it is 3 years old.
it has faded badly although it has never been washed or exposed to rain water. it has developed holes near the pockets.
in comparison i have a copy g9 from a UK supplier, obviously inferior product in a number of ways (it is a copy of the original) and cost £79.
The cheep alternative gets worn every dry day to work.
the baracuta orginal gets worn at the weekend.
the £79 jacket is wearing so much better.
i can't believe that they can charge £275-300 for a jacket that has no more than 3 years infrequent ware in it.
Boycott this brand until they sort out the issues.
when baracta g9s cost £90 and were supplied by a big corporation that owned Burtons menswear this kind of attrition could be forgiven.
not when the price is £300
you are better off looking on US ebay for a licenced Van Heusen 70's/80s one (cotton nylon mix doesn't fade or go into holes) or a Four Climes version (baracuta were stopped from using their own brand in the US for imported goods due to the licence with van heusen for locally produced product (well made in china)
Poor I feel conned.

Very awful customer service and poor frontline staff. I love Baracuta and its heritage all through the years but the first point of contact is the most important thing in a business.

Entering 3 year of use of my winter jacket (means I have used it max 8 mont in total) and its falling appart. The material on the outside its breaking so easily. For £450 I did expect much better product.

I bought several items from Baracuta over a period of two weeks in order to try on a variety of styles and sizes. I kept one jacket and returned three in accordance with Baracuta's return policy.
I received notice that one box was received, but had to track the others via UPS to ensure that the others arrived. Sure enough, all three boxes arrived and were received by someone named "Raimondo."
I emailed Baracuta requesting that they refund my money immediately. I received what appeared to be an auto-generated response saying that they were experiencing technical problems and would refund my money "as soon as possible."
My frustration is turning to fear that this company is fraudulent and that I won't get my money back. I do not recommend anyone doing business with the Italian company that now owns Baracuta.

Very poor customer service that gives no feedback of support if you face any problem. I've ordered a coat that was much smaller than should be and sent in back. Two weeks passed and I've been still waiting for refund!

Very quick to take your money and very slow to refund it when goods do not meet expectations. I received the ordered item reasonably quickly, it was too small so I returned it the same day. I received an acknowledgement that it had been received back at the warehouse after 5 days but am still waiting for the refund after 2 weeks. I have contacted customer service twice and all they say is it will take up to 30 days to action the refund. Their manner is off-hand and could not care less. Will never purchase from them again online and advise anybody else to do the same.

Bought a jacket; too small; don't offer full refund even within one day of receiving the item (out $100) and looks like I won't even receive that based on the below reviews

You should read the top reviews before buying from this company. Their customer service is the worst I have experienced. They just ignore bad news and refuse to deal with problems (but are very quick to take your hard earned money)

I made the mistake of ordering from the Baracuta store online. (We live in the states.) I thought it was a high end store with exceptional service. I was wrong. I ordered a jacket for my husband for Christmas. It doesn't fit and needs to be returned. The website only provides an email , no phone number. I've emailed 3 x and no response. I called my credit card service for recourse. An expensive lesson learned.

I returned a G4 jacket at the end of November which Baracuta in Italy received back on December 2nd,
they informed me that they had received the jacket back in the wharehouse and my Refund would be processed within the next 30 days at the latest! It is now January 9th and I'm still waiting,I've sent them at least a dozen emails over the last 3/4 weeks but have heard nothing back.It appears that there customer service is non existent and I'm now starting to worry that I've been had for £250!
This has got to be the worst buying experience I've ever had,so please steer clear of buying anything from Baracuta unless you want to kiss good bye to your hard earned cash!!

I wrote this review two months ago, never submitted as an act of leniency. But today, having found the same jacket (same in everything) in a pop-up store at a killer price (far lower than what I had paid), I said to myself: “It’s time the world knows”.
First of all: who are they at present? Behind the Baracuta website there are three legal entities: 461 West Broadway S.A., the current brand holder, LP Group, who manage the site, and WP Lavori in Corso S.r.l., who were the old brand owner/licensee till last summer, and although I thought they were out of play, well… they are not.
I ordered a G9 jacket (one of those refered as Made in England, of course) on January 19 taking advantage of a 50% sales discount. All sizes available, so I opted for a 40" under their suggestion to size up for a looser fit: they claimed delivery in 24/48h, so I would be able to return it and buy a 38" if it turned out to be too bulky. Paid by Paypal right away, no problem. I was sent the invoice the ensuing day. Excellent. After that, no updates. The order status had been stayed "Processed/not shipped" for a week. I got in touch with them through chat on January 25. By that time, size 38" went out of stock. They said my order would be dispatched no later that the following day. Nothing changed, so on January 26 I shifted my attitude to “fuss & quibble” mode and e-mailed them to have updates about my order status.
A punching bag replied me two days (yes, days) later: he let me understand there had been a problem in handling and assured me that he had inquired the shipment department and would forward me their answer as soon as he had got one.
No sign till February 1st, when I chatted again and finally a problem-solving teller pushed the right button to have my jacket leave the warehouse. The courier rang the day after, handling a poorly packaged cardboard box. That high-price deluxe harrington jacket was hastily wrapped in a thin Baracuta-branded ripped paper sheet, with no plastic bag to keep it safe from moisture or liquid leakage that could occur during shipping. My luck those were dry days.
The parcel departed the WP Lavori in Corso logistic facility and soon a bitter suspicion dawned on me, later confirmed while inspecting the garment: “Made in England” (thanks heaven) yet "distributed by WP Lavori in Corso S.r.l., Bologna", that means AW2015 or SS2015 or older collections, not AW2016 as expected (and apparently due by law) in this winter sales campaign, revealing it was part of the last year's stock, before 461 West Broadway took over. I've recently purchased an AW2016 round armhole padded Baracuta G9 from a local store, and it is properly mentioned "distribuited by 461 West Broadway S.A.". Well, that's the reason for that 50% off: not a bargain, just a normal discount for something who-knows-how-older than expected.
To make the story short: poor communication, misleading information, sly conduct, careless packaging. Never again.

Beware of cheeky, and even deceiving marketing by the new Baracuta! Leather G9 jackets are not made in England. However, there is no way you would know unless you send them an email to ask about the country of manufacturing. They do not mention this info on the webpage, and intentionally remove the extra "Made in India" tag behind the size tag in the photos they use on their website. That "Made in India" tag WILL be on your jacket, however! They refused to agree that this type of information is expected by most customers(even though they would promote their G9 jackets are proudly made in England on their website...) and refused to take any responsibility for the misleading photos on the jacket webpage! After Baracuta has been bought by an Italian company, the price of G9 jackets has almost been doubled, manufacturing of the jackets has also been outsourced to other developing countries. With deteriorating product quality and customer service, Baracuta is no longer the same...

Got my self a jacket Elvis wore in the 1959 film King Creole. I am not gong to call it after a character of a slow paced TV Soap of the '70's. Putting the misnomer to a side, the "Elvis King Creole" Jacket IS awesome in the light pink. Beautiful best describes it. I got it in a few days of ordering. The only problem is deciding what colour what colour to get next.

I've now used the website 4 times for various items over the past few months and on each occasion the service has been consistenly good. Items are dispatched quickly and arrive in a couple of days.
The quality of the items cannot be questioned, the Harrington Jacket is very well made and looks the part, the polo tops wash and iron well, whilst keeping their colour, jumper has kept good shape and the trousers are a great slim fit.
I can only recommend Baracuta.

I love the jackets and shirts made by Baracuta. Got a rack full (more than i need) , but cant resist them..Top quality as always and no shortcuts on construction. Thanks folks. The reason i`m giving four and not five stars is...and i have mentioned this before on facebook..The website..I feel its slightly outdated in the bad sense (as opposed to retro)...Its slow and links dont appear when you click on them..The pull down menu is all to cock....Other than that the ordering/delivery procedure is top notch..Thanks guys keep up the good work..
