This is an extremely unprofessional car rental company that charged us hundreds of euros for damages to our rental car that did not occur during the course of our rental.
There was a mark on the front of the car, for which we were charged €200. We have no idea how this got there, it must have been there before the rental began but not flagged by B rent.
The system to identify marks is a man marking a piece of paper with a pencil. It is not very technical and leaves a lot of ambiguity. This was exploited when we checked the car back in to leverage hundreds of euros from us.
The man giving out/ signing in the car was aggressive and not very professional. It seemed like this was normal course of business and our objections were dismissed out of hand.
This has left a very sour taste on our holiday - B rental has really ruined an otherwise excellent trip to Amalfi coast.
I would recommend using a car rental company that has a more sophisticated system for sorting out damages than a bloke with a pencil, which has resulted in us being gouged for €200.

They have charged 300 euros from my credit card without any explanation - more than 6 months after the rental date. Total silence on their side. Amazing how can they still operate - with so many people claiming fraudulent charges, and the police or financial authorities doing nothing to stop this...

Firstly it was a nightmare finding the office in Milan. When we got there they looked like Italy's version of Little Britain running the place, super unfriendly, angry that we didn't take them up on all those extras you tend to not need if you're a careful driver, got a totally different car to that which we thought we were getting and just all around was not a positive experience. The customer service was especially bad and miserable. The car itself was fine, it drove and did the job - even though the boot was too small for our luggage - the main reason we chose the car we chose when booking.

Worthless. I have rented a car in September 2019 and in March 2020 they charged EUR 100 from my credit card for 'administration costs traffic penalty'. Never received a fine. They won't answer to my e-mails or calls. They won't send me a copy of the fines. Theft! One thing is for sure: I will NEVER rent a car again.

I rented a car from them 8 months ago and paid everything in person.
I gave them my credit card details for the excess charge. Once I returned the vehicle they checked it and gave me a document saying I won't be charged any of the excess.
Recently I recieved a charge to my credit card from B-rent with no contact saying what the charge is for.
So far I have had no reply to the email that I have sent them.

Awful company! Avoid them at all costs!!
The car was in terrible condition, there was a hidden cleaning fee (you can’t just return it in a tidy condition like all other companies do, it needs to be properly cleaned by you or you pay!
I got a €50 euro speeding ticket and they decided to add on a separate €100 ‘notification fee’. Thanks a lot B Rent!! Che belle persone che siete!!

I GOT STUNG BY B RENTAL
I rented a car from the Milan Airport on a Car Trawler site. I needed the car for four days. When I collected the car they said I had to pay 850.00 euros as I had my own insurance and did not take theirs which was over 50 euros a day. They actually took the money out of my credit card. They said they would pay it back on my return but then said the office would automatically do it. Needless to say they never did. When I wrote to them they did not reply. Still no refund two months later. I sent several hundred emails at once. I then got an email where they were asking for my bank details to make a refund. As they already had all my personal details I did not trust them with my bank details. The transaction was on Mastercard and I insisted they pay back on that. They did not respond. 800 bulk emails later they did respond and asked for the same thing. So I called Mastercard and got a charge back in 20 minutes. Let's see if B Rent will challenge that. This is the worst company I have ever done business with.

Brent hasn’t sent back my deposit yet even though they promised me they would so 4 months ago they said it would take 60 bussines days but it has been much more than that and still no 850€ back on my account. I just want my money back I have bussines in Italy I will file a case to the court with no problem and get back more than what they should have paid in the first time

I am a B-Rent customer, hit by them taking money from my credit card; I forgot, like everyone who wrote a bad review, that I was fined in Naples and did not know.
I am from Naples where you get fined even if you don't have the ticket in your hands.
To blame B-Rent is very easy,

Similar to some other reviews here - I had a mystery $50 charge on my credit card from them in March. I had rented my car back in September, when I had already made the payment. This company is engaging in fraud charging. Check your credit card statements and block this service.

I booked a car with last February from 5th to 9th from your Milan LIN branch. I paid everything even the petrol which I didn’t refill it. I surprised now that you detected from my credit card 50€ twice so 100€ in total without any clarification of the causes. This is unacceptable way of treating your costumers.
Please don’t reply me as others please reply to my email that I had sent you already!!!
How do you save my credit car till now ????!!!
And how do you detect from me money without even sending me an email??
Don’t say this is a fine notification!!! If this true you should sent me the formal documents before you detecting!!

I have received a charge of 106,87 € (£96.29) on April 27th, even though I have not used this company or been to Italy since August 2019 (after a VERY bad experience with B-Rent might I add).
The contact form on their website does not work but apparently they answer reviews so hopefully you can answer this B-Rent:
- Why was I charged 106,87 euros over 8 months after I last dealt with your company?
- Why have you stored my card details?
- How soon will you be able to reimburse me?
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
I have included my booking number so hopefully you will be able to find the answers very quickly.
Regards,
Lisa Cadot

My credit card has been charged too, 6 months after I already paid.
I dont think I gave them permission to save my credit card details for so long, neither did I allow them charge me again. B-Rent did not give any prove if they really did not receive money by vehicle rent, the operator. I reported the case to the police. I hope the authorities can clarify who is right or who is wrong. I advise others to do the same.

Charged €50 to my credit card for no reason 8 months later. Avoid.
Edit: they have now reported my review as fake. Happy to share booking details with Trustpilot and show credit card charge to get this re-validated.
There is absolutely no way this is normal practice as they are trying to portray in some of the replies, otherwise there would not be such a spike in bad reviews. They are stealing money from people and calling them 'admin fees' for fines that do not exist. In the middle of a pandemic.
Edit 2: Credit card company satisfied this was unauthorised and have refunded.

If I could leave zero stars I would
They not only add additional charges on when you reach their counter, they also decide 6 months later to take £50 out of your account for no apparent reason. I've just seen in the below review that has also happened to another customer - so definitely not a mistake / one off.
I WOULD ADVISE EVERYONE TO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, even if it seems slightly cheaper online - it is truly not worth it and will end up being so expensive in the end.
In addition, they just weren't very friendly at the counter and very disorganised. I used them when I traveled round the Amalfi coast. DO NOT USE

Similar to several posts here, we hired a car in September 2019 and had no issues at the time; suddenly €50 has been charged to my credit card on 23 March 2020 by B-Rent Santantimo with no email or SMS advising of the nature of the claim
Trying to get this refunded by my card provider (awaiting return call from Disputes department).
This is obvious fraud if considering Italy went into lockdown for Covid19 in Feb/Mar and therefore the organisation will have been closed for the duration.

We booked a car in Catania and 10 months later there's a charge on my credit card from a branch in Sant'Antimo, without any explanation. They are the cheapest but they're just fraudsters.

I have used B-rent services back in August 2019 during my holidays in Italy.
At the time all went well and we did't have any issue. We dropped the car off at Milan Malpensa Airport with no damage, a full tank and were told all was fine.
Understand my surprise today, more than 7 months after dropping the car off to see that B-Rent has taken money off my account (£46.20) without letting me know about it. What is this? Who can take money off my account without my consent and whiteout any reason?
I tried to contact them, but no available phone number works and when I call the agency in Rome (where I picked up the car) or Milan Malpensa (where I dropped it off) nobody answers the phone.
I also sent a message through the form on their website, but once again nobody is answering.
Reading the reviews on hear, it seems I'm not the only one in this situation.
B-Rent, if you actually care about your customers and read this review, please get in contact with me as soon as possible, as knowing that company like yours can take money off my account whenever they please is somehow frightening to me.

B-Rent keeps on charging my credit card for a one-time ticket, which they are allowed to take 50 euros. They keep on charging it, with now over 150 euros of costs being taken from my credit card, and you are unable to reach them! Via phone they are rude and say you need to send an email, but email they don't respond to, even after 15 emails. Same for their Facebook - DON'T BOOK VIA B-RENT - IT'S' A SCAM!

Had a bad experience with B-rent
Had a bad experience with B-rent. Ordered the car on B-RENT via DOYOUITALY, paid a full insurance which cost me 62 € and the other 63€ i had to pay in the B-rent office, when i came in there they rised the price to 257€, i said i have a bill email letter, but they still said if i dont want the car for that price i can go out of theyr office which was in the middle of no where, realy bad company, not recommend, DoYouItaly done a refund from theyr side which is realy nice, but B-rent didnt even tryed to contact me, they just reported my review, but it is live again, thank you, trueth is a power

Rent a car from B-rent Malpensa, i found it on DoYouItaly, the price in DoYouItaly page with premium insurance was around 125 €, i paid for insurance straight away 63 € and the rest of the money had to pay in B-rent office, when i went there they said i have to pay another 257€ i said i already paid for insurance i have to pay only more than 60€, i showed them my email confirmation, but they said it is a season and the prices rised up, i had to take the car for theyr price with theyr insurance, because i had no choice, i believe i am not only one who was in this situation, alot of reviews is blocked by them in here, so it is saying that more and more people are giving bad rating for them, they realy made me sad for the rest of the day. Better take car from other company if you have choice
