I ordered a pair of jeans a month ago for 49.99 when they came the lower legs were too tight ( I wear a size 22 w) so I sent them back and received a refund. Now they went sale For 19.99 so I reordered larger sizes 24w and 26 because I really wanted these jeans to fit and I luvvved the color (foxglove). Well neither pair fit because the lower legs of these jeans are so tight and uncomfortable to wear. I also couldnt get a refund because they are a clearance item. So now im stuck with a defective item. Over the years, Ashley Stewarts sizing has changed as well as their audience. Their clothing looks cheap and now is poorly made. The majority of the clothes are too busy for my taste and do not measure up to my standards. You have lost my business and my money Ashley!

I ordered the most beautiful blouse, and I was so excited to wear it today. I'm sitting at work and every seem is ripping as the day goes on. It is not too tight, but I am literally mortified right now. Don't know how I'll get through this day!

Horrible customer service
Placed an online order on 9/1/19. Called customer service on 9/14/19 and told the rep I was calling to check on my order. Order number and mailing/billing address etc were given. Rep pulled up the information and stated that she had to place me on hold to do more investigating After holding for 22 minutes, the Rep said that the package didn’t have any tracking information so there was nothing she could do about the order. She offered to put the money back on my card and stated that it would take 5-7 business days for it to show. I told the rep that I was still wanting the items but most were on sale at the time of purchase. I asked if I could get my new order for the price of my previous order.. The rep told me NO, I would have to get them for whatever the price is today. She then said that she have no way of changing the prices. I told her that other stores would at least send an email offering some money/percentage off on the next purchase. She said we don’t have discount cards. With all that being said. Ashley Stewart did nothing to rectify the problem. I will not be ordering from here again.

I wish that I could give them ZERO rating; I have been a very dedicated customer for years; however, I have had NO luck with many of the clothing I have purchased. I bought several wired bras upon wearing many of them for the first time the wires began to stick me in my skin.

i would never imagine i would be writing a review about you. You guys need to learn how to treat customers that shop with you often and spend a lot of money when its even so dam hard to exchange and return everything is money. am so pissed right now i wish i could put zero stars. i will admit that the products are good however based on my previous experience this time around you have let me down and to that customer service agent in the chat miss shanice you don't just end a chat while u talking to a customer so bluntly without saying goodbye etc you need to learn to end your chats professionally your not talking to your friends. I have spent my $198 to get my diva dollars nothing came in my email and when i asked about it i heard it has been expired OK i understand i said i don't want it back but because i was qualified and i didn't received totally not my fault is there anything that can be done to give me a discount on a purchase am about to do for $201 and you gonna tell me bluntly diva dollars expire wen i clearly said i am not asking for that then turn around and took your ass away like customer doesn't matter well OK i am done shopping with u guys no more credit card with u guys

I ordered a shirt size 26/28 they sent a size 18/20 but the label says 26/28. and will only send shipping label after I prove to them the size was wrong!!!! I will never waste money with them again!!!!

I ordered 3 pair of shorts, nothing on the page said they were a Web Exclusive and not returnable when placing the order and, my payment was processed. Needless to say 2 pair didn't fit and I wanted to change them for the next size up. I spoke to 2 supervisors and to no avail, I can't get another 2 pair, but they offered 15% off. I have been a customer for years, but I can't shop with a company that doesn't offer any help for their customers. Will be keeping my $$$ from now on.

I have been an Ashley Stewart customer forever so I'm disappointed that they don't offer a ship to store for free especially since many of their items are online exclusives. Which also means they can NOT be returned to a store and you'll be charged another $8 on top of the $8.95 the charged to ship your items. All of their competitors have a ship to store free option, plus you can return items to their stores. I won't be ordering anything else from Ashley Stewart - just lost a loyal customer.

On 07/14/19. I placed an order on ashley stewart website without knowing that they had just moved to a new warehouse. So, of course my orders were delayed. The problem is when one of my items were to be delivered..it was sent back because of an insuffucent address which was lie. Come to find out when the order was placed and it went to UPS! The label was cut off. Here lies the problem with customer service. When i first contacted ashley stewart i spoke to a Shara who blamed it on the Post Office and the Post Office blamed it on UPS. Long story short ashley stewart did nothing to retify the situation and would not let me speak with a supervisor. WILL BE CANCELING CARD!

Was a very dedicated customer with Ashley Stewart for years they made alot of money from me. Just recently August 2019 I purchased over $200 worth of clothing from their online clarence. Now sometimes their sizes can be a little off. Therefore I would send back and order size up or down or just simply return if item is not of good quality etc. Ashley Stewart always honored their returns. Now they have a NO RETURN policy on clearance and web orders. So I'm stuck with clothing that doesn't fit!!! A cheating hand well played Ashley. You just lost a dedicated shopper. So many online stores with honorable return polices. I'll be taking my business else where! XOXO Farewell!

First time buying, unfortunately the dresses came poor quality and one of the dresses has a hole in the pocket. I paid $26.95 for shipping and handling and an additional £18.48 when it reached UK because (Goods not fulfilling the conditions laid down in Article 28 and 29 of the Treaty on the functioning of the European Union). Very disappointed.

I am so disappointed in this company. I shopped with them for the first time, and picked out 2 cute dresses. When my order arrived, one dress was correct, but the other item was something completely different - a shirt that didn't even match the picture on my packing slip. I emailed the company the day I received the package to ask about correcting the order. I got an email back saying "return it to us then we'll refund you and you can (try) to re-order what you wanted. Oh, but if you use our shipping label we will keep $8 of your refund.". So, not only did they send me the wrong item, they then expect me to PAY for the shipping back to them, then PAY SHIPPING AGAIN if i try to re-order the original item I wanted. I don't mind shipping the wrong item back, mistakes happen. But charging me for it then having the gall to tell me to reorder the correct item and pay additional shipping? Nah bro. I also tried to call them a few times at the phone number on the packing slip, during their stated business hours, and it rang busy every time I tried. Unless someone contacts me to fix this, this will be my first and last experience with this company.

My name is Kim . Sunday 3/31 I placed my 1st order with Ashley Stewart due to your denim sequin ad pop up on my Facebook page. Im a size 12 , and I saw the sequin Jean's was available in a size 32. I was under the impression 32 was waist size.. I paid 8.95 to have these jeans shipped and I'm being told it will be an additional $8-10 to return which is $16 in shipping. I placed an order for 2 pair of leggings totalling about $50. I used my PO Box for the order and checked for almost 3 weeks and received absolutely NOTHING!!! I sent in a few emails, NOTHING!! Called and only got a funky "I'm sorry and understand".. After calling for the umpteenth time, I finally get an email stating that an investigation is open and I'd have to wait until almost a month before they can issue my money back for something I never received!!!! Just checked my email and now I'm being sent a generic return email that's stating they're only giving me back LESS THAN $10!!!! Don't shop with these crooks unless you just have free money to throw down the drain!!!!

In the middle of placing an order and submitting payment information Ashley Stewart site glitched. Went back to my cart to check to see if my item was still there, which it stated it was empty. Also, I did not receive an order number. That prompted me to re-order my item, which I did and this time I received an order number. I checked my online banking statement and the I noticed the first item was placed and I was charged(how, idk). I hopped online to chat with an agent, I explained what happened. I was advised by the agent that they do not cancel orders, by no circumstance to ensure that the customer receive their items in a timely mannor. I advised that I understood, but Ashley Stewart site glitch, which is not the customers fault and therefor I should be able to cancel that particular order. The agent then further advised me that they haven't received any other complaints that there's an issue with the site. Which then, I advised "Jean" that there may have not been, but I am reporting an issue now and the item I purchased was under $20 due to the site 40% flash sale and I gain nothing by lying! Long story short, they did not cancel the duplicated order. I literally had to call my back, placed an dispute just to get my money back. This is a very small issue, and should've been handled much differently. Either refund the customer's money, maybe offer a store credit or something but to advise them that under "no circumstance" is unacceptable and make me want to spend my money elsewhere. I purchased an "ON MY LEVEL" t shirt...very cute too. I wore it one time and washed it one time without bleach. The black hair on the shirt faded so therefore their was no color at all left. I tried to return it or exchange it but couldn't because it didn't have the tags attached. Well why would I wear it wash a shirt with tags anyway. I as well as many members of my family have ordered lots of clothing from Ashley Stewart but NEVER again. If anyone is planning to buy any of the tshirts with black hair or faces on them don't because the color will fade when they are washed. I sent mine back thinking they would send me another one once they saw it but they didn't and plus didn't even send my cheap-looking one back even though it was paid for lol. Oh well I guess they need their mess more than I do.

The customer service is BAD. Returned item with their return label. They claimed they never received it. No one I talked to could help me without the tracking number. They claimed they had no record of the tracking number that THEY sent me. I never got the credit for two items.So I decided to give them another try. BIG mistake. Returned Item. Order total was 37.40 got refunded 20.31. I will never do business with them again. Their website has pretty clothes, but the quality and service is awful. Seems to be a Scam.

I ordered two dresses from AS about a week apart, same dress different color. I received an e-mail concerning the first dress that I ordered saying that my return had been processed when I never received the order. I called customer service and was advised that it was canceled at the warehouse for some reason but she couldn't tell me why. I looked online and the dress wasn't sold out in that color and the size I needed so again I don't know why it was canceled. The second dress that I ordered never came. I didn't receive an e-mail stating that my order was canceled but it is now sold out. Terrible customer service. I used to love AS but they obviously have no idea what is in their inventory and they don't even tell you when your order is canceled.

I had to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because Ashley Stewart is not adhering to their own policy of returning items to the customer after the 30 days period. It clearly states on the back of their shipping receipt, "Returns after 30 days not accepted and will be sent back to you. Truth be told, I think they restocked my items and sold them because they still had the tags on them, never been worn, excellent condition. Every time I ask customer service about the status of my return, they don't respond or they say we will send you the tracking number once your items are shipped. This has been going on close to a month now. I am very doubtful that I will see these items again.

I recently purchased 2 skirts and a jacket from Ashley Stewart online, and had no problem. Items arrived in time expected, were correct sizes, and I'm happy. I love the way the one skirt's waistband is made -- looks like a wide band, but there's a thin piece of elastic nested near the top that is the real waistband, so it doesn't roll like true wide bands often do. I wear a 24 or 3X normally and these were a bit large. I will get 2X or 22 in the future. Only complaint is jacket stripes not symmetrical on front panels. I'd have been upset if I'd paid full price.
