I bought a gold watch from this company in December and chose to return it. The watch was nice, but I returned it because there was one issue with the strap size. I contacted customer service and arranged to have the watch shipped back in exchange for a different model in mid-December. I was told that within two days of them receiving my watch they would send the new one out of their warehouse. A week later, I called them and was told the watch was being inspected (which they claim is normal for a high value product).
However, after another two weeks without any updates I called again. They told me that there was “wear and tear” on the watch. They sent over a picture of a watch that looked as if it was over ten years old. I challenged this decision as I only had the watch for two days, so it would be impossible for it to have any defects.
I kept on asking customer service to talk to upper management. Eventually, I ended up talking to one of their managers named Matteo. He said that there was nothing he could do and claimed that I had damaged the watch.
In late January, I reached out to my credit card company, explained the entire situation and received my money back without hassle.
I myself have been a watch collector for over 25 years and I have never experienced anything close to this before.
I have nothing positive to say about my experience with Ashford. It all felt like a fraudulent experience from a company that is poorly managed. This company scams its customers and I definitely will not be doing any business with them ever again.
I urge anyone out there who is thinking about buying a watch from this company to look for a different option. They are nothing but scam artists who offer poor service to their customers. They do not value their customers, their time or provide any updates to their customers.
Never buy a product from Ashford. Especially high valued watches.

Attempted to buy a Hamilton watch from this place. The woman in customer service completely messed up the order. She was rude and patronizing when I spoke with her to correct the order. I spoke with Matteo a couple of times regarding the order and we was more professional, but the woman I dealt with was so snotty and condescending that I would never consider giving this place my business in the future.

Poor Customer Service
I placed an order and within a couple of hours realized that their ground shipment would take more than 6 days .I called their customer service after confirming with Fedex -that the order has not been picked up,to help me expedite shipment.I was willing to pay the $20 for fast shipment.The lady at customer service was so rude and said that one your chose a mode of shipment its confirmed and they cant help.
Fedex confirms that they could change the mode of shipment till the package is picked up.This shows lack of enthusiasm from the customer service agent's end to help a customer.I will never purchase from ashford again.

not have this issue, and as a luxury watch, I used it with most care, who put it in chemicals? or a luxury watch cannot bear some sweat (which FYI I dont sweat, it's cool and cold in December & Jan). And the way they walk away, asking me to deal with their supplier (as it is not their job) is just a proof of the worst poor service and being irresponsible. I doubt they are selling me a FAKE MOVADO. This is the second time, first time I bought a Calvin Klein watch, the band fell off and I got to go to the local shop to have it fixed

Purchased a Hamilton Khaki Aviation Flight Timer for a great price. I upgraded my delivery to 2 Days and Ashford met my expectations on shipping and also the quality of the watch.
Item arrived well packed, and all original items were included. Box, manuals and even the manufacturer's warranty card (which is null/void) since Ashford is not an authorized dealer (AD). But most grey market resellers like Ashford may source their inventory from ADs as the article is genuine and new. It does come with an Ashford 2 year warranty but for the price I saved I'm willing to have it serviced by Hamilton if anything arises. Also, Hamilton will reimburse you for a battery replacement in the 2 years, which is very nice.
Ashford provided an A+ service for me. My regular AD store is Troverie.com for purchases greater than $1000 and the Hamilton watch I got at Ashford was for a fun low priced collectible piece.

I purchased a watch from Ashford nearly a year ago. I had a warranty issue and returned the watch for repair twelve weeks later. After six months of asking, the customer service manager told me the watch had been received back from Breitling and I they would ship to me by the end of the week. Three months later I still have no watch, they do not return calls and if I do contact them they promise they will look into the situation but never call me. Again today I received the same poor service. They still can't tell me where my watch is. All I know is that they moved locations and it may have been lost. So, they have my 3,000.00 watch and all I have is lies.... Please beware before you buy! I wish someone had warned me. JOMASHOP is a better place to purchase and they are honest.

Do not buy anything from Ashford.com
I voided/cancelled my order after paying a $60 shipping fee for expedited delivery (1-3 days) for an international order. But they fail to mention anywhere visible that they take 1-3 days to "process" order.... Thus it would not arrive in 1-3 days anyways....
So i cancel my order, which seems to be pretty normal. But this is where things become a nightmare:
They claim my order refund has been processed immediately (received a email indicating as such) and the refund is pending the bank -- confirmed again 1 week later. 1 week month passes and still no payment. I contact my bank and they said Ashford has not voided or refunded anything -- which they verified there is nothing pending or adjusted from Ashford's side and have no reason to lie about it.
Then i contact Ashford again asking where my refund is and they gave the same lie that the other 2 representatives gave. Later they divulge that the support is not able to contact the finance department right away who can confirm this and or process refunds, soooo they have been claiming to refund without even checking. The service representatives just lie so that dont have to do any work and pass it on to the next person. I have not received a single email from the representatives who said they would send an email once they get further confirmation from the "finance department", since they are in another time zone and they cannot contact during their shift....
After 1 month, i have not gotten my order or even had my order refunded, but just received many lies. No giftcards, no reimbursements, no anything. Just a hollow apology after lying and holding on to your money for more than a month.
The exact spam comment they say if you complain is:
"I am sorry about your situation, and I will help you to confirm with our finance department asap"

Worst customer service ever!!! I bought a Rado watch and it didn’t look the same way it looks at the ashford picture. I called customer service and tried to return it but they refused to because I tried the watch once. I recommend everyone to not buy from ashford! If you want a good watch buy it from the original watch website!
