I have loved and bought quite a few cloths from this supplier. Lately they seem to have depressed under fed looking models on their web sight ( puts me off) over sized looking cloths that look like their for their much bigger sisters or even a granny. I mostly buy from their store and have loved the variety of cloths on offer, now the choice is getting weird

Ordered a mirror online to be collected via click and collect in a UK store. Waited two weeks - no update. Tried calling the customer service numbers - didn’t seem to work. Emailed customer services to be told item had been shipped to store as they didn’t have item in stock (they do as I’ve seen them but bought online as price lower which was due to shop price being incorrectly marked too high!). Customer
services suggested I visit store to ask whether they had received the mirror. Visited shop and they could not find the order but said I could buy one in store instead at the correct lower price. I emailed customer services to cancel origin order and was told I was lucky to be able to cancel order because usually they can’t catch orders in time! Clearly they can’t control their online orders properly. Puts my off ordering in future.

Awful customer service from the US side/online. Its a real shame as the UK shops have great staff who are professional and polite. The US staff give off a vibe of not caring about their customers. In 2 transactions I had:
incorrect information regarding a valid discount code that was just dismissed once I emailed about it ( I emailed twice as my first email was ignored or not received)
was overcharged on postage and my request to be refunded was aknowledged but dismissed
the wrong item sent out
a correct item sent out with a paint stain on it
frequent, dismissive emails while I was trying to rectify the situation.
I am honestly so put of Anthropolgie because of this. I did make a final complaint that I asked to be treated as formal and this was again ignored.

I ordered a rug from online, it arrived and didn't look how it was advertised online. I contacted customer services explaining this and sharing an image. The customer service person said they'd send another rug out. Again the same thing! Such a waste of time. I then had to post both rugs back, still waiting for my refund! Definitely won't be buying from their online store ever again huge inconvenience and staff that care about customer service whatsoever. Also if you go on the Anthropologie site to write a review it doesn't allow you to do so for this specific rug, not sure if there is an error with the entire site but not what you'd expect from a big company that has a huge store on Regent Street!

IN 2019, WHAT OTHER COMPANY TAKES 2/3 WEEKS TO PROCESS THE RETURN AND REFUNDING OF A HEADBAND?? THEY ALSO ADVERTISE NEXT DAY DELIVERY IN THE UK WHICH COSTS £6 ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT IF I HAD READ THE SMALL PRINT I WOULD KNOW IT TAKES 48 HOURS TO PROCESS BEFORE NEXT DAY DELIEVRY CAN OCCUR, MY PACKAGE ACTUALLY TOOK 5 DAYS TO ARRIVE IN THE END, THIS IS WHAT THERE £6 NEXT DAY DELIVERY LOOKS LIKE. Furious is not even the word. Horrific horrific horrific supply chain, wake up Antrolpolgie and get a new logistics/customer service strategy and team!!!!

I like the last item I bought which was received on time but my latest order seems to be stuck between Anthropologie (who say it has been dispatched) and Hermes (who say they have not received it) and Anthropologie customer services is one of the rudest and least helpful I have ever encountered. I was told "I only have the information you do and you'll just have to wait" in a tone that clearly implied that she couldn't care less. What is the point of paying extra for one day delivery when no-one cares when your parcel arrives? What is the point of customer services who have no desire or ability to even say sorry, let alone help.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ONLINE. ANTHRO IS NOT STAYING COMPETITIVE IN THE MARKET. PEOPLE DO NOT SHOP IN STORES- THE WAY THEY USED TO. They should at least have free shipping for RETURNS. after spending thousands of dollars per year, I have FIRED ANTHRO from my Shopping list of stores.

...I came here to post a review about the horrendous customer service from their online store and- just wow! I did not expect SO MANY customers to review them so poorly. I actually thought maybe my experience was not the norm. How could a company so large care SO LITTLE about good customer service??
I had ordered several items as a gift and paid the extra fee to have it delivered by a certain date. But when my items didn't arrive and I contacted Anthropologie customer service I was told (by the rudest person I've ever met) that it wasn't their fault and their policy is not to give refunds. I never even received a reply from the company to my second message.
I will never spend another dime at this store ever again. Yes, they sometimes sell cute things, but if you like buying home decor items, you're in luck. Since Anthropologie sources items from other vendors, it turns out it's pretty easy to find those items elsewhere on the web without having to hand over another penny to this company, who clearly doesn't get a rat's patootie about training their customer service reps on how to be polite to customers, let alone try to find a workable solution to keep them as loyal customers.

Made an order online and wanted to make some changes so I called the 24/7 customer service number. They easily cancelled the part of my order that was on back-order, they notified me that I could make returns in store (which helps since there's one down the street), they gave me the requested discount for another item I wanted to add to my order and also waived the shipping fee for this new item. All-in-all a great CS experience!

Ordered four (quite expensive) necklaces as gifts. One came in velvet pouch and the others wrapped in plastic. I contacted Anthropologie via email three times to ask if they could send me some additional pouches and, thus far, none of my emails have been answered.
Incredibly frustrating and although they have some lovely things, I will be extremely reluctant to order from them again in light of the poor customer service.

The customer service for this company is poor.
I paid for next day delivery. When the item didn’t arrive I contacted them and they came back to me with a generic reply stating delivery would be within 3-5 days with no acknowledgement whatsoever or apology that I had paid for next day delivery.
I replied stating my case again and was instructed to contact the delivery company. Again no apology or acknowledgement of my situation.
Will not be purchasing from this company again.

I ordered an $800 coffee table (don’t ask me why I spent that much on a table, it was impulse). In less than 3 weeks the table cracked right down the middle so I emailed Anthropologie to let them know I’d like a new, different coffee table (gave them other items of same value) or my money back. Instead, they ordered the same exact table. I told them I did not want the same table and if they couldn’t replace it with a better quality product I would just take the refund. They said that they did refund me and if it didn’t show I’d have to check with my bank, which I did. Turns out the pathetic department that is Anthropologie customer service refunded me the item but then charged me again for the same item. I let them know this and they STILL have not refunded my money. I have emailed them about 10 times and also called. By the way it has been two months now and we’re going back and forth still with my $800 missing.

Just logged into my email to see that my order is cancelled! No stock. Called customer service (America?). Not happy. Apparently it happens all the time. I'll be vigilant about charges although they do claim no monies will be taken until dispatched. I have ordered sporadically and often had to wait but products always arrived. When the customer services tell you this is a frequent occurrence as it is a website....errr....in this day and age this is just shoddy.

Beware - they have taken double money off my credit card and when I called to complain blamed some spurious system process! This is not normal - never been double billed by anyone else! Shocking and they need to sort! I’ve really gone off them as a retailer!

Paid for express delivery, was no faster than normal delivery. Contacted customer service to ask for explanation and refund of difference and was told no. Contacted them a second time and they would not reply. Have been a customer for 4 years. Will never buy from this company again. Do not bother using express delivery ever.

first let me say I’ve been a customer for 20 years now and sadly, I’ve watched this company nosedive recently and it bums me out. I took advantage of a Half Off Sale sale (which let’s be honest, virtually nothing on their site or in store is worth paying full price for any more) and after holding the purchase amount on my bank account for a few weeks, I received a notice that half my order had been canceled without explanation. frustrating. but the real kicker is that today I received a new sale notice and, shocker, the skirt is available again...still on sale, from $198 to $98 this time, where the purchase I had made was for HALF the mark down price, so $50. so why cancel my order when you clearly still had sale stock available. in ALL sizes. logic states it wasn’t restocked or it would be full price. my first thought is that enough people ordered the big markdown that it made them pull the clearance sale on that item due to popularity when it saw more money could be made. Whatever the reason, shady business practice, Anthro. after 20+ years I think it’s time to say goodbye and good luck. just not worth my time anymore.

Let me started by saying they sent me the wrong items. I ordered bowls and what i received was clothings. So i decided to swing by at their retail store at the Upper East Side. Surprisingly the first girl whom i went to was kinda clueless, i guess she’s still new. OKAY. And then she asked for an advise to the girl at the next registered who was also the manager there. She refused ro help me because she said i had to return it online and called the customer service. Not to mention her gesture like she did not give a damn, and THERE WAS NO SORRY or apology words at all from both of them. Kids, if you made a mistake and people are disappointed, what is the first thing your Mama asked to say? Yep that magic word ‘Sorry’. Then i went downstair and sat down, trying to call the customer service, first girl was hanging up on me. Then, amazingly the second girl on the phone also said the same thing that i had to return it. I told her about my upcoming trip for holiday at the next day, but she insisted that i had to return it. She did not care no matter i said it’s not my fault and i don’t responsible for this. At other retail, let’s say Madewell, customers can always return and do the business at the retail, they would be very helpful and friendly. I can’t believe Anthro has that kinda of attitude. Then i complained to the girl at downstair, she expressed their apology (she earned points there), and said she’s also disappointed for me. Long story short she called another girl at the same floor, her name is Chansey(?), and voile she fixed it, she received the clothings that i didn’t even order, she ordered another bowl and get me a bowl at i i want at the store. She knew how to do the job, she’s the asset that a company should keep, well basically the girls at the ground floor, and for the manager whoever her name was, gosh, i wish a good luck and hope you can be kinder to people . Overall i’m still disappointed in the way i was treated at the shop and on the phone. Thank you anthropologie, i would never order anything from you anymore 👎🏽

After some laughably terrible customer service regarding the return of a mis-described item I bought on the Anthropologie website, I came on to leave a review and can see that my experience is far from isolated. In fact it seems that rude and unprofessional behaviour is the norm. I always thought this company was reputable but reading the reviews has been an education. I’m doubtful now that I’ll ever get my money back from Anthropologie, but I’ll try to spread the word so friends and family don’t learn the same thing the hard way!

Anthropologie are clearly marking up their goods to ensure they make enough profit that it doesn’t matter that customers will not return. I recently ordered a dress and paid for next day delivery. My order took five days to arrive and when I opened it, the security tag was still on it. I emailed their customer services and received no response so then had to travel to a store to have this removed where the service was so blasé, no apology and couldn’t understand why I wanted to complain. I asked for my details to be passed to an area manager, again no response.
I simply don’t understand how it’s acceptable to literally have zero customer service, I have basically been treated like I should be grateful to have been allowed to shop with them. I will never shop here again.

I ordered two plates and two mugs. The plates arrived broken because they were packed next to the mugs without any packaging around them. I asked for them to be refunded and arranged to return them. Instead they sent me two new plates and said I'd be charged for four unless I returned the other two broken plates. I referred them to my original email asking for a refund and they refused to acknowledge it. I explained I would be complaining. No acknowledgement. Very poor customer service. Ver poor packing skills! A week later another item I ordered finally arrived - having been told it had been dispatched before the plates and mugs....Utterly useless, terrible comms. I've cancelled my whole account today as not the first time this sort of thing has happened.

I would give NEGATIVE Stars For Anthropologie if possible. Their customer service for online shopping is the worst I've ever dealt with in 35 years of constant online shopping. I'll never do business with them again. After their sending me the wrong item and about 12 calls/emails/chats I get lies, confusion, sarcasm and still NO resolution. I can see my money has been LOST to them. They refuse to make good on sending me the wrong color of an item that I called them about prior to ordering. Their colors are reversed on the screen so I called in advance to be certain I would get the correct color. They told me to order the wrong color and I can't walk two miles to pay to print a label and send it back after getting the Runaround and lies for a good month now. So I give up and would like to advise everyone: Do Not Shop With Anthropologie, The Worst Customer Service I've Ever Dealt With!

After an order that I never received I called and was told "to bad, so sad" basically. It's a lot of money to me to just throw away because Anthropologie won't take responsibility for error.
Would not even give 1 star if I could. Rude, rude, rude.
