I bought a $20 plan from altice mobile on saturday, September 14.
My iPhone SE was purchased for full price from Apple...it is unlocked.
I gave all of the proper information for my cricket wireless account to port my number.
I installed my sim card when it arrived on 9/17...and the number never ported.
There is no customer service number for Altice.
When I go to their chat portal, no one is ever available for “Existing Customers”...I only get a message that says, “we appreciate your patience during this hold time. An agent will be with you shortly.”
So I wait...and wait...for two full hours this morning, I have waited. Nothing.
Cricket wireless told me that the issue was entirely on Altice Mobile’s end.
But if you ask for sales, someone is available within 1 minute...and according to the person rae l. On their sales chat, the sales chat agent is answering multiple screens at once.
I have now contacted the New York state attorney general about this scam...no customer service line? They basically just conned me out of $20 per month...and with no way to speak to someone, there is no way to cancel the service.
