Most all areas are great. The interface changes are difficult -and I would love to see a two stub option on the checks so we wouldn't have to print paper stubs. The report sets should pull up both sets instead of having to go back and pull up the other set. In tax payments, would love to have a note area so we could remember later why we had to record and manually pay a tax etc. The help screens need to match the new interface.

As a new payroll service provider, we've needed lots of support the first year. Mostly it's been good, but sometimes uneven. I've had excellent support reps, able to definitively answer questions, and then one or two others that are more hesitant.
Also get frustrated when there's a long wait, only to be followed with a message, 'leave a message, we'll call you back.' That just doesn't work for me!
Availability of chat support is also uneven.

For over 10 years I've been an AccountantsWorld client and I love it! The integration between payroll and the general ledger is excellent, uploading client data is easy, the cloud cabinet is efficient, 1099s are easy, and client relations is second to none!

We have used this company for years, they recently "updated" their suite. Every time they update, they break more than they fix. Support isn't supportive, and we have had massive billing issues with this company. Would not recommend to any business.

Accountants World failed to direct deposit my clients payroll. We submitted everything on time on our end. They had no explanation, and no resolution. We had to scramble to initiate same day wire transfers to employees across the country, incurring wire and banking fees, not to mention a full day of office time for two of my employees devoted to this issue. 30+ phone calls later, usually with them promising to have a manager call me back who never did, and finally I get a response that they wont reimburse the wire fees. This was their mistake, and we had to pay for it. Crazy. Don't use this company. The pricing is attractive, but I wish we didn't switch.

I moved my client processing over to AccountsWorld in 2010 looking for a true cloud-based client collaboration platform. I found a company responsive to my needs providing me a top rate product that is always looking for new features to add to their already robust software. Unlike other software vendors that will sell to anyone with payment in hand, AccountantsWorld only sells to accountants. The system puts the accountant, not the client, in the driver's seat of who runs the engagement. Utilizing their Power Practice platform allows me to provide any level of service needed, from after the fact write-up to full CAS and outsource CFO services.

Payroll Relief is so easy to use and customer support is the best I have experienced. I really enjoy that each section has its own help page specific to that section making it really quick and easy to find answers. When I have to call in I'm always answered within 5 minutes and the staff is so pleasant every time. Bravo!

Our accounting firm has used Accountants World for the last two years and have been using their After-the-Fact Payroll Software for our corporate clients. I was pleasantly surprised on how this software program is user friendly and amazingly affordable! I highly recommend this product.

We are a new to Accountant's World and with any transition, there's a learning curve and ramp up to using new systems. Transitioning to Accountant's World has been extremely smooth due to a person on their team in particular. Dawn M., has been absolutely amazing in helping me set up our Firms account in PR, setting up our first clients' account and answering all my ridiculous questions along the way, troubleshooting any technical issues, pointing me in the right direction for information/training, and guiding me to find answers.
As you can imagine, in this world, we interact with people from all walks of life and many times the experience isn't as great as it should be. However, that is not the case with Dawn! She is truly an expert on the platform, payroll, and technical and customer service. Our firm is grateful to have her on the team and we look forward to our continued working relationship with her and all others at Accountant's World.

I used AccountantsWorld Payroll Relief for 6 years. When I initially signed up in 2012, I was told that while they did not electronically file in Idaho that it was "in the works" -- 7 years later in 2019, it still is a manual process for both filing and paying withholding.
Payroll clients come and go. The biggest problem with Payroll Relief was the punitive nature of client access. If a client cancels my payroll service, I am required to keep client active (and pay $7.50/mo) to be able to access historic information. As soon as you inactivate a client -- you cannot access that information. I don't care how diligent you are, you're going to miss something when printing off old reports trying to save all the information.
I switched to ADP Run wholesale processing and while it is a little more expensive (less upfront - more monthly), it offers tax filing and payment in Idaho, and it also offers electronic garnishment payments -- a nice bonus on something that was a pain with Payroll Relief. An added bonus was the processing time. I had to process payroll on Friday evening with Payroll Relief to have a direct deposit post on time for a Wed direct deposit. I can post Tuesday by 3pm and have a Wed direct deposit with ADP.
I liked Payroll Relief's product, but not offering electronic payment/filing for Idaho was cumbersome. The increased processing times around holidays made it very difficult to plan for timely payroll. I processed my payroll on Thursday Dec 20th for a Wed Dec 26th direct deposit and it was not deposited until the 27th. My client demanded more.
In January, I reviewed W2s and posted healthcare adjustments. I checked back on Feb 1st to make sure everything filed ok and they had not filed the W2s. They required me to file them. Every other electronically filed form is filed at the deadline, while giving you time to review beforehand. You are bombarded with e-mails about filing deadlines and requirements yet nothing came about W2/W3s.
My client was furious, and after the late Christmas Direct Deposits - I switched. I printed off all the required reports (or so I thought), and inactivated the client. A week later I realized that I needed a copy of the W3 for our auditors, as the copy I saved was only W2s. I was told that I cannot access form without reactivating client ($395 yearly access/monthly client of $7.50). Before this issue I was just switching services -- now I am spewing advice "DO NOT EVER USE PAYROLL RELIEF OR ACCOUNTANTS WORLD"
