My husband and i were looking for an online learning platform for our four year old when i came across abcmouse via youtube. I quickly whent to the sit, filled in my details but didnt go through with the registration. I had a little hunch to further research on other sites for a comparison before committing to ABC. This was two or three months ago, to my surprise im being debited. Went to the bank to do a reversal but later that day they re-debited. Please help, how do i get out of this?

Thought it would be a good idea for my kids at the start of this quarantining because they'd be missing school. Had it for a while, they always say it runs slow no matter what browser they use. Our WiFi is very fast and we rarely have problems with it. So I said, kids can barely get on, let's cancel. Today, I went to cancel it in the mobile app. I went to "cancellation" and selected: end membership. Minutes later I get an email saying "congratulations on upgrading to an annual subscription!" What the hell? After I went to go check my bank account and there it was, the charge from ABCMouse. I tried contraction then just now, sent an email, wonder what they'll say back. Hopefully I get my money. No one needs to be scammed at times like this, theres already enough crap happening, now ABCMouse has got to steal my money too?

My daughter kept getting frustrated with this app because of all the glitches. She plays games on her new ipad all the time and nothing else is this glitchy. Two months after I bought it, she won't play it at all, so I go to cancel it... and it is SUPER hard to cancel. The website gives you a circular run-around. Looks like even if I cancel, I won't get refunded even partially for a $60 yearly subscription. i hate them.

I can not log in to the app or on my computer. It has a blank screen with the alphabet all over it. But I can not get it to open to cancel. This is a crap site.

Terrible educational app/site that takes money w/out notification. Been charged for 4 years with only a record on my paypal account, but nothing else. I never signed up, but tried the free version for a week, just to find out what a waste it is. There was no clear notice of upcoming charge upon trial, and no notification for an upcoming charge. The app is super annoying with loud squeaking sounds and lots of repetitive images. I recommend to skip this one if you strive for true education and want to avoid fraudulent charges.

Several years ago I was a subscriber. My grandchildren were small. When they got older, they became interested in other things and they didn't need Grandma to babysit them. So I unsubscribed to site. It has been several years now since then, lo and behold, yesterday I happened to be checking my credit card acct. and saw a $99.00 charge posted for ABC Mouse. I called the support ph. #. Their whole support team are working from home, and I was to e-mail them to have my problem resolved & they would respond in time. So far they have not done so. I will be disputing the credit card charge for this.

I signed up for the 3 months free subscription and had to give my credit card information. Immediately started receiving a bill for $9.99. Tried to contact, but always received " We are receiving high volume, call back later." Well I was billed for 2 months and NEVER completed registration. Do NOT sign up unless you want it for life!
Wish I had seen all the "Scam" reviews before I gave them information.

Never heard of this company and I have no small children. 3 months in a row they hit my account for 9.95. the bank keeps refunding my money canceling my card and sending me a new card but they can't seem to stop them from hitting me again. One more time and I am going to have to close my bank account that I have had for 20 years. I can't keep having to cancel my card every month because of this.

I love ABC Mouse and highly recommend. The only reason I'm giving them a 4 is that upon sign up, which comes with a 30 day free trial (or was it 2?) either way, risk free, it asks if you want to lock in a special rate. I did, but it charged right away. I contacted support who DID refund me, but they said they usually don't give refunds. I'm BEYOND grateful that I did get a refund, but I think they need to better word the offer as I see it's a huge issue.
Sidenote, I cancelled my subscription through no fault of theirs. My daughter is just too young and the moment. Will be returning though!

I did the trial back in 2016, CANCELLED it, and they've charged me ever since!!!!! They said they have no record of me cancelling, although I've been cancelling about every 5-6 months. They won't refund me either.

Signed up for a assessment of ABC Mouse. They double charged and auto renewed without our permission. Cannot get a hold of anyone by calling. My wife signed up last year... unfortunately I didn't notice last year that a few days after they charged the initial $39.95 for the so called first year trial subscription... they turned around and charged us a few days later for a full subscription... an additional charge of $59.95! This year we my wife told me she needed to renew with ABC Mouse. So when I saw the $59.95 charge I thought it was here renewing... however a few days later they also charged us another $39.95 again! We only have one child and one subscription but they have double charged us for two years now. This second charge caused me to investigate and that is when I notice how they double tapped us for two years in a row. According to the Bank statement there is a customer support number to call at: 800-633-3331... I've called many, many times and can never get anyone to answer. My guess is it's just an automated line used to appease the bank but no one is ever intended to answer that line. I've scoured their website looking for a contact number to call but no number is present. All they give you is a cheesy website submission form which took a few days just to get a response... and the only thing they responded to it was directions in how to cancel! This is the absolute worst online experience I have ever had... very, very un-reputable. I had no idea a child site like this would be such scam artists!!

Auto renewed a inactive account that no one was using and started charging me again. After multiple emails asking for my money back and account canceled. I was told they don't do refunds, but have no record of me trying to cancel. I have tried many times. They have no problem taking money for something that's not getting used but wont give the money back. Do not get caught up in their BS this is a joke!

Like others on here I canceled my account last month and they still charged me just 2 days ago. I emailed them and politely asked them to stop charging me and refund my money. I'm going to have to go to my bank and dispute charges. Save yourself some aggravation and avoid them at all costs. The app was horrible it kept crashing. So not worth $9.95 a month to be aggravated.

please do not fall for this, i signed up for a one month trial period, through a survey site, i signed up for the deal nothing today and then £9.95 a month for a year there were 3 options on the payment option 59.95 speecial offer then payments and the 3rd i had thought i dodged a bullet with this one- no thanks with a box to check and tiny writing underneath saying you would be charged today for the full year,
i checked the box saying payments then a popup with a pic of a mouse and a box with next appeared i clicked on next and was taken to a page which said speacial offer for new customers only it was for a special assesment add on which i wasnt interested in again the price list looks familiar this time with two choices the1st £39.95 for a year with special offer and then no thanks with tiny writing saying if u checked this there would be a oayment of £99.99 taken out of your account today. i thought ok how do i get out of this page without paying the short answer is i couldnt! i couldnt use abc mouse to get in to the parent part to my cancelation, at this point i knew the worst was happening, so i opened up my online banking and there it was in pending payments two charges from abc mouse the first for a small 89p and 2nd was for £15.99 i moved all my money into my savings account placed freezes on my card and am waiting on my bank calling me back to report the fraud and take the next steps, i usually check companys out before using them i got complacent as it was a survey site recommendation, please don't make the same mistake as me.

Does not can not support 2 kiddos in creating the avatar. Both couldn't use it at the same time. Customer service sucks! You can only Emil them and I assure you they do not email in response. In the 18months I paid for it I never got a survey! Nor did anyone call me! Oh I did get an email asking me not to cancel!.

I signed up on promotion for a 1 year membership. Then without ANY communication from them they charged me a second year without my authorization or knowledge. Of course they wont give me back my stolen money and won't respond to numerous emails. The app is useless and nothing like they advertise which is why I did not renew my subscription.

We liked the service and the games; however I have a very bad taste in my mouth due to poor customer service and business practices. We paid for a yearly subscription in December 2017 and then I believe I cancelled so as not to incur unexpected charges. Well, I was charged again this week without warning and told that unless I could produce the cancellation email from a year ago, they would not refund me even though we haven't used the service at all in probably 6 months. Clearly they don't believe in their product enough to sell it honestly and have to resort to sneaky money-grabbing. Stay away.
