I bought a Hamster cage from the U.K. version of this website.
The images online of the cage shown were only grey which is the cage I wanted. I received the box in perfect condition so expected it to be in perfect condition. The cage was blue so I didn’t take it out the box. I emailed them to let them know I wanted the grey cage and it was the wrong colour. They told me it was subject to availability. There were no other images to show alternative colour options. I explained I couldn’t return it as I don’t drive. They said that no one could collect it. They expected me to pay to return the item back to France when I am already out of pocket. When I took the cage out of the box it’s scratched in most places. It’s scuffed on both sides and there is a chip which over time I don’t know if that could get worse. How can anyone put a pet in a chipped cage. How can they get away with selling unsafe products? As I said there were no damages to the box, it had bubble wrap and paper inside. There is no way this damage was done in transit. They have deliberately posted the cage in this condition. It cost me £70 and I couldn’t even re sell it now. I sent them photos and they refused to refund me.
They wanted to give me £5 off my next order. Are they serious??? I’ve been given a £5 voucher to buy from them again after terrible customer service. Who would seriously order anything else from a company that has no value for its customers, just trying to get money from them and selling them bad quality products. If this was the U.K. after seeing the damage they would refund or replace the item straight away. They told me because I didn’t tell them in my first email about the damage I cannot have a refund. This is an absolute scam. If anyone is considering buying from this site please save your money. I’ve now lost £70 and have a massive damaged hamster cage that no one would buy.
They cannot get away with this, taking people’s money and the customer doesn’t get the item they rightfully paid for.
I will be making people aware of this company so that this doesn’t happen to anyone I know of.
I will not let this drop I will constantly keep making people aware of this company as I’ve lost out and been conned out of £70.

Do not buy ANYTHING from Zoomalia -- EVER!
Zoomalia.nl, which I assumed was a Dutch company, sold me food that instantly made my cat extremely ill for two days.
They refused to pick up the tainted food, and the only way for me to get a "refund" would be to ship the 20 kilograms of tainted food back to France at my own expense.
I am now out 120 Euros plus veterinary costs, and I have to dispose of 20kg of dangerous cat food in the garbage.

Unfortunately I can't say anything positive about Zoomalia for now. I’ve placed an order about a month ago and still haven’t received it. Worse, yesterday Zoomalia sent me a message saying the order had been cancelled due to lack of payment, witch I’ve sent proof twice, by email and msn. More than the order, the absence of response is what is really bothering me. It almost seams that Zoomalia is an online scheme. All messages that I’ve received until now are automatic. If there is a problem, at least talk to the customers to try to solve it. At the moment, the only thing I know for sure is that I placed and payed for an product that I still haven’t received and to an alleged company that does not answer any of my contacts.
