I purchased an Xfinity prepaid starter kit from a Boost Mobile outlet, set up the equipment as per the instructions in the quick start-up manual. I could not connect to the internet so I called the customer support number and was told that there was a system update and that the modem could not be activated via a signal due to this maintenance. I was told to call back in about two hours, each time I called, a total of four times in one evening I was told the same story, this has gone on for two days now with no estimate, Idea or definitive time of this so-called system enhancements completion, I'm told to "just call back" . I purchased this as an option to avoid high cable and internet bills and fee's but it seems to me its just not worth the trouble since I still do not have an internet connection for the cost of $85.00 and no service is in sight.

The first issue was when I bought a kit online and after 3 weeks received nothing so I called and had it cancelled and got a refund since it was within the 30 days. So I go to a actual Xfinity store and purchase one, how about the original I tried to buy online gets delivered to me, then I get shipping bills from them claiming that I have to pay $29.99 for shipping EVEN WHEN I ALREADY RETURNED IT. Now our service doesn't work and we were trying to get a replacement modem delivered to us after having a million technicians come out and a million troubleshooting attempts to no avail. They did nothing but take my money, send us through loops. Don't waste your time and money.

I paid my money online for the prepaid internet service. I was told I would receive my box within 5-7 business days. Well two weeks goes by and I still didn't receive it. After I called they tried to give me the run around by telling me to check the tracking number which revealed it was never sent. The employees I talked to were no help, they weren't trying to resend anything or give me a refund. I was on the phone for hours and I still didn't get a refund nor did anyone offer to resend a box. It has been a month now and I still have not received anything. Went to the local store and they said I could not get one from there unless I pay again and I would have to keep calling if I wanted a refund. This has been one of the worst experience of my life!!! I won't ever support theism company.

Terrible waste of time and money! Purchased Xfinity prepaid Wifi, received router in mail. Missing sticker in 'new' router means hour on phone with customer service, then service drops constantly and requires reset. Then stops working all together. Customer service says in outage. Auto pay never goes through. Still no service. Xfinity Office sells start kit only, has no idea where to buy refill. Manager confirms 'service unavailable' on my account online payment option. After calling around, manager says can buy refill at Boost Mobile stores. Boost Mobile store says they have been hoping for refill cards for months but have never received any. You cannot purchase a refill for the service! So $95 for 'one month', actually only several days of spotty service, and many headaches.

Xfinityprepaid.net offers you prepaid TV and internet. Just buy the equipment and you get the first month free. You buy refill cards at a retailer (funny thing though, no matter what zip code I put in, there's no Comcast retailers when I know they're are) so you have to buy refills online. Which I know nobody ever gets that far because they never receive the equipment. I paid $94.23 for my wireless router that was suppose to be delivered 3-5 business days. I called after the 5 business days and was then told 7-10 business days. But they had no order for me and would call me back in 24-48 hours. I called them because of course the never called me and was again told 24-48 hours because they don't have an order and have to put it in manually. They wouldn't transfer me to a supervisor and when I finally got someone to transfer me after her keep prying for answers, the phone just rang and rang. I called the real comcast phone number and no one there every heard of a prepaid service. So there's people are using Comcasts add an affiliation. Do not fall for this. I should have known something want right when I seen their only phone number had too many numbers. 855-75-PREPAID. I filed a IC3 complaint with the FBI's Internet Complaint Crimes Division. I hope my ignorance helps others not get scammed. These people did a lot of work planning this scam because there's even newspaper articles online from different prestigious papers. These people did their homework.

Prepaid Internet and TV scam. Claiming to be Comcast
They lose your order after you prepare for your wireless router and free month then keep telling you someone will contact you within 24-48 hours. No one contacts you and then when you call they say the same thing. They won't connect you to a supervisor. If you actually do get them to, the phone just rings and rings. These people did their research on scamming people. Contacted the real Comcast multiple times and they never heard of this prepaid service. They are also pulling a scam for prepaid TV. They tell you that you can go to a Comcast service center to buy this service or buy minutes for your next month, but no matter what zip code you enter, there's no service centers anywhere. That way you have to call or order online. That should have tipped me off right there to a scam since I know there's a Comcast service center about 10 miles from me. I went online to get the zip codes for all Comcast retail stores within 200 miles from me and low and behold, no matter what zip code I put in, again no Comcast stores. Should have realized when I saw the phone number with too many numbers. But you can get through to a bunch of Asian women operators at that number. 855-75-PREPAID. I have to tell you this is a heck of a scan. They even went so far as to put fake newspaper articles online. Even from the Wall Street Journal. So I guess I can't feel that stupid because I did research before I ordered and they definitely though this scam through. I did file a CR3 report (Criminal Crime Internet Fraud Division) with the FBI. It just makes me quiver how much money these people are going to get from people before they are shut down. They got $94.23 from me and the prepaid TV has prices ranging from $120 and up depending on what channels you want. Isn't that nice of them. Please, please don't fall for this! We need to stick together and get these lazy scammers all put in jail. I would much rather they get my money for paying for a nice state correctional vacation, then just hand it over to them. These people have my back account information too. You have to either use a debit or credit card to pay for it. Good thing I'm broke and only put $95 in the bank. If I had money who knows what they could have got. Almost forgot... red flag #2 that I didn't think about until my daughter said something. They asked me only for the last 4 digits of my social security number. This was supposed to be prepaid. No credit check so why would they need that. I know most places, even my banks website only have you put the last 4 digits of your social in to get into your account. They also have you pick a 4 digit pin when you place your order. A lot of people use the same pin number for everything, bank, credit cards and anything else you may need a pin number for. These people are very smart. Actually add I'm typing this now, I'm seeing all the signs so much clearer now. BE CAREFUL OR THETE PEOPLE. Someone is always trying to get our money/property. Everyone wants what they don't have!!!
