I have written several other reviews regarding Martin and Co Chelsea. This time it is regarding the tenants bond. Martin and Co were instructed by me (The Landlord) to register the bond. Which I have since found out DO NOT ALLOW your Agent to do this for you.
There was a dispute as the tenant had done damage to my property, which Martin and Co were to put forward to the TDS scheme. Martin and Co failed to answer any emails from TDS so to cut a long story short, did not put my argument across regarding damage, so the Tenant received the whole of her bond back and Martin and Co have had to pay me £300 which was the amount of the damage out of their own pockets because they are so incompetent. This is just an example of how unprofessional and incompetent Martin and Co are.
DO NOT USE this Agent.

from Jennifer Latham just returned from Just Go holiday in this country. had a really great time good hotel ,good food even though i needed a special diet it was catered for without problems selection of meals were more than I expected, good visits to different parts of the area and very good coach driver who was patient and caring. really enjoyed myself and looking forward to my next break with them

Shanghai With Kris Lee
One of my favorite city is Shanghai. I have visited this city twice but every time it felt different. This time it felt upbeat, young, open, liberal and fun just like our tour guide Kris Lee. He grew up in this city and he has this love and knowledge of this place which he eagerly imparted to us. He spoke English very well, and his happy and upbeat style fitted exactly the sites he described. Shanghai is like a European city, modern and well planned. The river that runs between the old and new part clearly showed the influences of other countries that came here. That area called the Bund was a place where people liked to stroll or walk around. The French Quarter was cozy and modern with that French ambiance I saw in my visits to Provence, France. The Yuyuan Garden was charming and nice to visit but what interested me was that part of the city that I called China town because it looked truly Chinese since the city seemed more European. Kris brought us to an ancient city that had remnants of the Ming and Qin dynasties in their building and bridges. We road a boat around that brought us to a local restaurant where we had a wonderful lunch.
I enjoyed listening to Kris and the detailed information he provided us. He answered all our questions and our queries about life in Shanghai and how people lived, positive changes in Shanghai and his own travels. These opportunities make travel more meaningful, its not just the sights but the personal opinions and exchanges of ideas we make during our travels. Kris was certainly a great conversationalist and fun and knowledgeable tour guide. You're numero uno Kris. Thank you for a wonderful time in Shanghai.
I would like to thank and commend the driver during our tour. He was respectful and brought us around safely. That was very important to a successful trip.

Here I am again having to take to Trustpilot to write another review regarding Martin and Co Chelsea.
I am a Landlord of a property.
When I initially rented out my property with Martin and Co they informed me that they would lodge of the Bond paid by the tenant with the Deposit Scheme.
I was happy for this to happen. However, DO NOT allow your Agent to deal with this for you. Martin and Co failed to collect rent due on my property, and also failed to serve the appropriate notice for termination of tenancy, in all failed in every aspect of the tenancy agreement. They even admitted to their failure but have not apologised or offered to compensate me in any way. The Arrogant Franchisee Micheal Van De Vyver just decided to call me and be rude and abusive on the phone.
The Deposit Scheme write to the Agent and inform them that if the landlord wants to be involved in any dispute the Agent needs to let the lLandlord know and the Deposit Scheme know. Guess what I was involved in a dispute with my tenant, as Martin and Co DID NOT contact me with this information, they were just awkward and did not allow me to be informed because I have complained about their conduct.The tenant damaged my property but Martin & Co did not put all the damage on the inventory. Martin and Co then entered my property, without my permission, and after my contract with them had expired and replaced items which were missing from the inventory. I wonder why they would do this. I have asked for an explanation several times, but they just ignore my emails and do not reply to me. I have lodged a complaint with the property ombudsman.
Further Martin and Co apparently received the report back from the Deposit Scheme on the 1st August but have still failed to provide me with a copy or advise me of any funds which have been awarded to me under the deposit scheme (tenants deposit) for damage done by the tenant.
I have now written to the CEO of Martin and Co and I am now awaiting his response.
So folks save yourselves an awful lot of aggravation and do not let your Agent lodge the despot paid by the tenant because once they have the Scheme will not deal with you directly.
I have been in touch the deposit scheme and they will not provide me with any details whatsoever because the deposit was lodged by the Agent. BE AWARE.

We were very pleased with the delivery of our new three seat sofa bed from ScS.
The delivery men were very polite and helpful, even putting our old sofa into the back garden as requested, ready for us to put out for the council for collection.
We are impressed with the quality and comfort of the sofa bed and would certainly recommend ScS to our friends and family.

3 Review, just to get the word out to let everyone know how bad the 3 network is for contacting customer support and for customer satisfaction.
Me & my wife have been loyal customers for over 15 years and the customer support has been awful.
We renewed our contract online with 3 but it gave us another number which we did not want so we tried to cancel it the next day with 3 and thats when our troubles began. We could not get hold of the right person to speak to from 3 as the stupid options list was useless and when we eventually did get to speak to someone they said its all ok and sorted things out with another contract and cancelled the one we didn't want, or so we thought they had.
It turned out they did not cancel the other one as we had instructed and they kept badgering us about it. Each time we told them we did not want it and did not use it and each time they said all had been sorted. This carried on for 3 weeks and eventually they sent us a bill with a demand for nearly £100 for the cancellation which again resulted in us calling them back to complain. They again said all had been sorted but would not sent any letter or e-mail confirming what they had told us, all we had was there word for it which up to present means nothing at all as they keep f$cking it up each time.
Truly rubbish company and I can't wait for the current contract to finish so I can tell them where to shove it.
People be ware, you have been warned and by the reports from other users it looks like my situation is not a one off as many others have had similar issues.

Respond quickly but from then on the service has been awful, I had a dripping tap that needed a new cartridge, it’s been over two weeks with no sign of the job being completed. When it is completed I will not be using this company again!

I went to Sarasota Florida for a wedding. The wedding party stayed at the same hotel. I used Uber for the first time using it 3 times before using them one last time to go to the airport in Tampa Florida. My first 2 in town rides were fine, the third was for food delivery and they were fine. My last visit was a safe drive from the driver. However the charge is rediculously high!! Another couple was taken, by Uber, from the Same Hotel in Sarasota to the Same Airport in Tampa for a flat rate of $80 the same day, approximately 4 hrs earlier that morning. At around 2:30 that afternoon we were taken, by Uber, From that Same Hotel in Sarasota to the Same Airport in Tampa and was charged $95 + fees etc ending balance of $97. When questioned about it Uber told me it was fair! How can that be?! Even after explaining to them that I’m a 69 yr old lady living on a Medicare income and just how much that other $17 means to me for Meds and Food. They DO NOT CARE!! Apparently they THINK they need it worse than showing the appropriate respect to a Senior Citizen on a limited income. And it is really all about the discrepancies of unfair Price Gouging, Very Poor, as well as, Unproffessional Business Ethics towards The Elderly? The previous couple were in their 20-30’s. Hmm Let’s Take Advantage of the Elderly Lady & her Companion!! This is a Disgraceful practice of doing business by Uber.com. After reading the other reviews given by Other Users Uber should just Shut Down their services as the pricing discrepancies are apparently running ramped with absolutely crazy pricing. My last trip wasn’t without problems in the Uber car also as the seatbelt connection was missing the cover so I ended up needing help to get in then out of it bc all I could see was ratcheting hardware. But the driver was nice however he wasn’t any nicer than the 3 previous drivers. When I questioned the price difference he said he Doesn’t make the price and that Was Verified by Uber so it’s back on the company. Unethical business practices as well as Price Gouging the Elderly. Like I said this was my first experience using Uber and it Will Be my last. If, indeed, they need that extra money more than someone on a Fixed Income than they Should be about to Fold. Red Flags Abound!! Use Lyft or Anyone but Uber if your pocketbook is limited! SHAME ON YOU UBER!! A refund is definitely in order here.

Stoped 1 night here as a school reunion .and would NEVER stay here again.We paid when we got there went out for the day and night came back and they would not give us our key until we paid for the room again shocking woman on there own,said we had double booked and we hadn't.Its a disgrace they way they treat us.Also the floors in the rooms are really slippy complained about them and they were not bothered.Therr attitude is awful all nice when you get there but really they just want your money.as for breakfast they offer a full Scottish breakfast that NOT what you get.SO PLEASE rethink about booking here there is a lot of nicer hotels in Glasgow and this hotel is not cheap either

AirAsia - premium flatbed - 20/11/2018 D7237 PER > KUL, AK886 KUL > DMK.
Having flown with this mob for the last 10 years I know what to expect, they are a LCC, it's why I always fly premium (their version of business 'J' class), it's perfectly reasonable to expect a better service than cattle class but it's basically for the angle flat seat so at least I'm not crammed in like a sardine, and sometimes I can even get 40 winks.
They say any premium seat bookings are fully flexible, change without extra charge, but that's "b,s" as inevitably there isn't any seats at the price originally paid, so there's always extra to pay.
Over the years they have probably screwed me over an extra $2K with these fees.!
Just this one alone cost me an extra $890.
Other issues have also occurred over the years too, like lost and/or damaged baggage and other smaller issues like advertising priority check-in at certain airports when none exists and damaged/broken locks, no hot water in the toilets/showers at their lounge.
But this most recent trip would have to have been the worst I have ever experienced, with any airline.
Normally I would fly PER > KUL > CNX, but for some reason they had no flights to Chiang Mai in November so I had no choice but to book another flight DMK > CNX, but within Thailand I prefer to use Nok air rather than Thai Airasia. So I allowed 4 hours 30 minutes between flights, more than enough time for clearing immigration and check in, even if there were flight delays.
So only 1 hour and 10 minutes before AK886 was due to depart I get an SMS (and email) informing me it's been delayed by 3 hours. As check in for Nok air closes 45 minutes before departure, 45 minutes to clear immigration, collect luggage and go from T1 to T2 for check in at DMK, just not enough time.
But as a precaution (remember I know what this mob are like) so 2 months earlier I decide to book a cheap seat on FD3429 DMK > CNX as, shall we say 'insurance' incase they stuff up, then at least I have a seat to CNX, but I didn't bother putting any luggage on it.
If you have been to KLIA2 you will know it's one of the worst terminals at any airport and of course D7237 parked at the last airbridge at the end of the satellite terminal, felt like 1k to the transit area. So I get this SMS and go to the transfer counter, but no they can't help there, they direct me to another counter, but it's in the main building, over the skybridge. There I encounter the rudest, most belligerent customer agent ever, not only could I not get a word in edgewise, it would be reasonable to think that as they have stuffed me around, guaranteeing I will miss my Nok air flight and as I had booked a precautionary Thai airasia flight they would at least add the luggage for free, but no, there was no way she was going to do that. Not only have they caused me to lose the entire Nok air flight, they want to add insult to injury and charge me for the bags. And this is the way they treat a premium customer, god help those poor souls in cattle class.! Finally AK886 leaves 3 hours and 27 minutes late, not happy Jan.....
What if I hadn't booked FD3429, what would they have done, nothing, left me stranded at DMK on the second busiest day on the Thai calendar, it was Loi Krathung festival, all flights would have been fully booked. Just not good enough, if I could give them 0 stars I would.
Honesty and integrity is in short supply with this airline, if you can use another, give this mob a miss.
Thai Lion have a nice new A330 with the exact same seats but they are only using it on the DMK > HKT (Phuket) run, the sooner they realise it could be more profitable using it on long haul to PER the sooner I will use them as I am so much over these "F wits".

I don,t usually do recommendations but I have been so pleased with Purple Bricks and their agent Marie Rudd. This lady has been a REAL star performer for us, selling our house in just days , so eager to advise and help ,always available nothing is to much trouble.
