Wise Bread covers every aspect of finance from explaining the benefits of online checking accounts to showing you how to save money by making your own laundry detergent.
The blog posts can be a bit chaotic. They are a group blog and not every writer is awesome. But most are pretty good. 9 out of 10 time you will find what you need and more.

I like to travel but hate learning about the fine print of travel rewards from different airlines. As an average bloke with a short attention span this easy to follow site is perfect.

Several writers on Wise Bread are hilarious! I don´t like to think about finances too much it is just too depressing! But at least Wise Bread keeps you entertained.
I also enjoy the multicultural aspect of Wise Bread. They have writers from all over the world. One of the writers is even traveling full time. I hope in time they will translate more of their articles into Spanish. Spanish speakers are a big demographic. They're missing out a big audience.

My company stopped paying for my gas (long story) and now I'm in the market for a new credit card. My bank's card has decent terms but I thought "hey it never hurts to shop around right?"
I found Wise Bread's tools easy to use and understand. Found the right card in about 5 minutes.

A college friend recommended this site. I recognize some of the writers as local bloggers from my area. Will most likely bookmark in the future if I need more finance suggestions

Dealing with credit cards is one of the most stressful things in life. Oh this card has the best rates? Great but it might also have an annual fee that makes it no worth it. I'm glad there is a destination online like Wisebread.com where you can find great reviews formatted in a useful way.
Their mortgage section is also pretty good. Will come back when I am redoing my mortgage.

Wise bread is like that nerdy kid in class. He isn’t pretty or well known, but once you talk to him you realize he’s a treasure. I was at first turned off by this old and non-mobile-friendly design. But once you get past that the blog posts are hilarious and helpful
This is one of those times when it pays to look beyond the cover.

All the data on Wise Bread can be found on the credit card company's own websites. What is great is Wise Bread aggregated all this data, analyzed it, and just gave me the final recommendation. I wouldn't otherwise have the patience to deal with all this research. I especially enjoyed the information provided by Jason and Andrea's articles. Thank you again.

MOST of wisebread's topics-- budgeting, frugality,lifehacks-- are pretty universal
topics that can be enjoyed by anyone in any country.on the other hand, the advice on credit card is directed at north americans only candians and US.
wise bread editors please take note. you have a big international readership.you are featured on asian editions of readers digest. your books are even translated into many languages.please start servicing the international audience and provide credit advice for everyone.

I've been following these guys since my college days. They started out as local SoCal bloggers. I'd hear about them on the news and local public radio station sometimes. Very neat articles that even I can understand lol.

Saw this website mentioned by my local channel 9 news. Was hoping they have more local deals but everything else besides coupons is great.

Credit card companies like all other corporations are out to make a quick buck. Before selecting a credit card , go to an independent site like Wise Bread to get the objective details. It will save you thousands in the long run.

So many young people in debt because they don't take care of their finances. Resources like wisebread are great way to educate yourself on the "a b c" of finance. Learn it before you get into too much debt.

This is one of my favorite personal finance blogs. Honestly you guys have gotten my family through some tough financial times. Hate to be a complainer but can you schedule your weekly maintenance at a different time? I'm a busy person and have often don't have time to read your site except on late Friday nights. Unfortunately for me that's apparently when you do all your maintenance. Do it on weekends please!!

Wise Bread is one of those review sites that review everything under the sun. Bank accounts, insurance, credit cards, pet food... you name it... they review it.
Their editorial reviews are excellent. But, like in most places, the comments left by other readers are even more informative. Good to see insights and ratings from average people like myself.

This is the official blog for the authors of "10,001 Ways To Live Large on a small Budget"
This book has an endless list of good frugal living ideas, and the blog is just as helpful. I hope these authors release a sequel soon.

Took me quite a while to dig up the information I needed. The site is a bit slow and can use a redesign.
All the financial tips are solid, though. Once you really dig into the archives you get some pretty sweet information. Takes a little bit of effort but it is totally worth it.

What I hate about other financial websites is that they always make you feel so inadequate. OK, so what if I don't know all the new 2015 rules for the new Roth IRA!
Not everyone has hours to learn personal finance. Wise Bread is like the little cheat sheet that teaches you financial things your mom and dad should've taught you but didn't. All this knowledge is provided without chiding or judgment. In fact, the articles are fun and friendly. Look them up. You won't be disappointed.

99% of cards offered on this site are for people with excellent credit. If you do not then there's really nothing for you on Wise Bread. If you do have excellent credit then you will find some great offers here.

All my life I've had just one credit card. Never really thought about shopping around until I read this interesting article on Wise Bread about maximizing rewards.
After hours of reading I still can't decide what the best brand is. On the plus side I'm super educated on credit card choices now thanks to Wise Bread. When I'm ready to make a final decision it will be a good one.

OK this site doesn't have a lot of fancy aclculators or tools. I'm low tech kinda guy so that's fine by me. Read the fine print and found a lot of great credit card info through the site. Will recommend to friends, especially fellow expats.
