Used Winns to sort out my wife's damaged car. From the first call I have received nothing but a great customer service. Steve and his colleagues explained everything and supported me through the whole process. Knowledgeable and totally professional.

Bad customer service, have control from 1 h after accident don't make any steps towards secure my claim, no any advise or help with paperwork to prepare for claim any cost to me, They was only interested in whiplash and Credit hire so they can take money for them self, finally they didn't claim any penny for my but huge amount for they credit hire, been forced by customer service to use they Lorry hire company, receive false information if I use any other company i can't claim any money back!!!! They was not interested at all to help me with claim any lost in profit they was concentrated only to take money for credit hire for them, They force me to sign paperwork for claim only credit hire, when decline they send me a lot of e mails with threats that i will need to repay them money for credit hire, they no any help just wasted time and money... yes, they can't believe that your time cost money !!!! only their time and money is important, will be looking for legal advise to report them for unfair practise.

My insurance company referred me to Winns last year after I was involved in an accident. There was no injuries, I just wanted the money for my car that was written off. Had dashcam evidence etc, and the third party solicitors (the guy that crashed into me) were taking a long time to respond between queries. This led to my claim taking 10 months to complete and the outcome was that he was uninsured and there was nothing Winns could do. So that is 10 months of wasted time as I now need to claim through my own insurance.
My case handler handled themselves well but I always felt like I was at the back of the queue due to not having an injury, although maybe this was due to the third party solicitors. I had to call Winns all the time - often they would say they would call me back, but after waiting a week or longer I had to call them again to talk to my handler.
I kept being told that we were going to take them to court due to the lack of responses and the irrefutable, but that never happened. I was never given any advice after these 10 months and just told to claim through my insurance which would be pointless due to my £750 excess and I would lose my no claims.
Only reason it is not 1 star is because of the fact Winns is going to have to pay for the hire car I had for a day and they haven't called me asking me to pay for it, so that's good.
Overall though, poor experience. 10 months wasted for nothing :/
