A star for the rating is still to much!
I think the idea to have a company for renting a 4x4 drive is good, BUT....
- there is no Wicked office in Denham!!! You find a garage for repairing cars. The Guys who are working there are no motivated to help! Very unprofessional and no userfriendly!
- for the price you get an old car. The army look is cool, but the whole car has scratches, rusts and bumps everywhere! We told the responsible person, that is not possible to mark everything. The answer: No wories about this and new scratches. Important is that you clean the inside of the car!
- you get a car with nothing!!! A gascooker without gas bottle, no dishes or pans!
- badest Support experience ever! getting only standard answers and no willing to help.
- On the return a kilometer away of the garage, the front light falled off, in the normal road. We fixed it and have been honest and told the guys what happen. Again the told us, not to be worried about, that happend often. I asked for a written proof, what they denied! At the end, we didn´t get the whole bond back. No information in advance. We still a fighting to get the money back or an invoice for our insurance.
Please, Please Please do not rent a car with a companie like wiked! I know the tours that a offer a espensive but we recooemd to support them.
We also red the articles and thought that will not happen to us! Be more inteligent and don´t support a company like wicked!!

Four of us hired a wicked camper over the New Years period in Tasmania for 7 days costing $1800. The main reason for hiring this camper over a car and staying in accomodation was the fact it was advertised with a showering facility and fridge.
The fridge had blown a fuse prior to us picking up the vehicle and was therefore not charging. We did not identify this until after we left however, we returned to the depot and the staff were amazing. All were really friendly and replaced the fuse promptly, even giving us a spare. We then proceeded on our trip and found out the fuse however was only part of the problem as we later identified that eveningThe fridge battery was not charging and required replacement therefore rendering the fridge useless whilst the vehicle was off. Also that night we found that the Schrader valve to pressurise the shower was defective and leaking air and there would be no showers or fridge from the camper.
Upon returning from the trip we told the staff at the depot that we lost a lot of food and that we had to pay for a shower elsewhere. Once again they were friendly and clarified that they could not handle the situation but gave us details of the complaints section of the company. We got home and made phone calls, got the usual run around and finally got an email address to forward the complain to. The address was of the founder John Webb who initially failed to reply. After further prompting John clarified that the matter was being reviewed. Over a month later we had still heard nothing. Again we contacted John who replied with the following email. As you can see they take no admission of liability (just the $1800 for an uncompleted service) and offer us $50 between four people for no fridge and no shower for the 7 days.
Thanks for providing your feedback.
Following review, I am disappointed to learn that you were not satisfied with your recent experience. In the circumstance, without any admission of liability but solely as a gesture of goodwill, Wicked is prepared to reimburse you the sum of $50 in full and final satisfaction of any and all claims that you “the renters” have or claim to have against Wicked in connection with your hire.
If you would like to proceed with this offer, please respond within 14 days from he date hereon.

At the beginning of june ago, me and some friends hired a campervan from wickedcampers, early i hesitated with lots of bad reviews about them, but we were curious after seeing some postings through their instagram and also looking from the website i found their price cheaper from the provider any campervan, so it is suitable for us who are still a student. clean cars, complete cooking equipment, and comfortable tents for us.
The owners of Wicked Campers could find themselves in hot water over the use of certain images on their vans.
Coca-Cola and Disney have both said they are keeping an eye on Wicked Campers' use of their branding and characters on vans to make crude jokes alluding to drug use.
One campervan features an image of Snow White smoking drugs with the slogan "Crack, Enjoy," a play on Coke's branding message.

My friend and I rented the Classic car (not a camper). The condition of the car was not good but as long as it could drive we were happy. After a 2 hours drive from Melbourne the car broke down - the ultinator broke. We were stuck in Lorne for 24 hours until we got our car back but after just driving for 10 min smoke came out of the front so we drove back to the car workshop and they said oil was leaking and that it might go away if we just kept on going since he couldn't do anything about it. We kept on driving but after 10 min it completely broke down. The road service guy told us the car was done! We finally got in touch with Wicked who said we had to come back to Melbourne if we wanted a new car and then we could request for a refund for the days we had lost, but there were no more buses that day. Back in Melbourne we got a new and much better car with a tent on the rood (the only cars they have i would recommend renting). The guy from the Melbourne Wicked office even said that he knew the car would soon break - but why would you rent something like that to people? We lost 3 days but still had 3 days more to do the Great Ocean Road. Unfortunately I locked the keys in the trunk on the second day. I admit that was my own fault but the road service guy and the woman we talked to on the phone from road service said it was covered, but Wicked still charged us $100!!
The only refund we have gotten approved (which I haven't gotten yet) was the bus tickets back to Melbourne but not the 3 days we had lost! I would not recommend Wicked to anybody!
