Webs.com gave me a little brake with their website. However, the issues of saving data is still a problem. I will see this month if I should be looking for another web hosting company. I don't mind paying a little higher fee, but I want the service, not the hassle I've gotten from webs.com.
Terrible, unhelpful, incompetent customer service agents. Poor communication. If there are any changes, they do not inform you. If you do not check your site before it expires, you will lose it - even if you have paid in advance. Dashboard takes ages to load (if it does load at all). Customer service says Firefox is not recommended, so I use Opera. Dashboard still does not load. Customer service then informs me that Opera is not recommended, so I use Google. Dashboard still does not load. Customer service then recommends Firefox. No help at all. Agents often evade questions. For the past few months I have not been able to make changes to my site. Webs has not been helpful at all.

Contacted them twice to ask why Mobile version is not updating. No response. Their entire setup is outdated. You can spin in circles and randomly throw a rock and hit a better company. Currently getting approval to domain transfer everything we have with them. I am over all of our companies accounts and Webs has been my biggest headache since I started.
P.S. You can tell all of the positive reviews are not actual customers.

On the whole a positive experience from start to finish. Its a fairly intuitive website builder that allows you to start a business from scratch really. I have had no complaints during my time with webs and although perhaps some of the 'building blocks' of setting up the site may seem a little cumbersome from time to time it does get the job done, and its fairly low priced as well.
Support has always been attentive also.

IT IS A SHAME TO GIVE EVEN ONE STAR. The company has held my ability to contact all my members for three months claiming its an IT issue and they have no idea when it will be fixed. They run you in circles to avoid giving you an answer as to how or when it will be fixed, and just reply over and over with "sorry we do not know when it will be fixed" and " no there is no one else you can speak to". They have all but destroyed my business. NOT RECOMMENDED TO ANYONE RUN AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN.

Same issue as Mandy Houghten domain name due to expire sept 2018 i renewed it got receipt and email conformation to say it was renewed Dec 2018 later the fishing charter domain name had turned into a Chinese gambling site contacted Webs they just said it had expired and wasnt renewed and tried to refund my money for the domain. This time of year is boom time for my business ive lost thousands of dollars as the domain was inactive google froze the ad because of security issues images on the webpage pc laptop cell fone wont load up even when signed into webs account and bring up webpage ive sent them about 20 emails with problems and get one back a week later saying domain has been taken hes a refund, these guys ae the worst on the internet i begrudged giving them a one star they dont give a ***k

Not bad, not great. Pretty decent interface in all honesty and I run my website just perfectly but yes support could be a lot better I think.
Purchasing is easy, getting the site up and running again nice and easy. It does what it says on the tin, I guess for the low price you get what you expect.
As the song goes 'you cant always get what you want....but sometimes you get what you need'.
I would respectfully say they are 'ok'

My company is registered with Webs, and I received and email that my domain was going to expire. I logged in and made sure the auto-renew was activated. However, the domain still expired and I cant contact anyone at Webs for support. My company has completely shut down until this is fixed.

really bad company no customer service unless you pay another £5 a month to chat alone already have the premium account and they took down my site. cost me two months worth of work
no customer service and no emails as to why the site got taken down.
I think they may have been hacked as my site was created by an SEO person so all above board.

Can't log into account, difficult to transfer or renew domains, doesn't work with Chrome... the list of issues is endless and customer service is difficult to get to. Considering this is a platform to make your own website, there is only one word - crap

I'm sure lots of people would recommend something else for people that are experienced with websites, heck they most likely just host their own, but that wasn't how I was a couple years back. I played a lot of video games with friends and hosted servers to play on. Well I had gotten so many random people that I wanted a common place for us to communicate, there wasn't something like discord that we could use at the time, at least, not that we knew of. So we made a website, webs was the place that we went to. I had used other sites like enjin and such but they became too expensive, webs was just about right. They were cheap and easy to use. It fixed a lot of problems I had with other websites and sometimes I still look back at my website as it is still up, those were the times

I used to use this website for large scale website design spending £800 a year on them, but their customer service is shocking, they don't want UK customers and make that pretty clear!

Webs was acquired by Vistaprint, another website builder company, in 2011. Since then Vistaprint has maintained both products.
Unfortunately Webs has become increasingly out-of-date: there are no responsive themes, and no feature or UI changes are on the horizon. The Webs Announcements blog hasn't had an update since 2015.
Why has there be no updates to Webs? It's because Vistaprint now seems solely focussed on their own website builder— and not Webs.
None of this has not been communicated to Webs customers— which sucks. I hope they communicate it soon. Acquiring products and abandoning them is common in website builders. When GoDaddy acquired Virb, Virb's customers stopped getting new features and the product stood frozen in time. I hope this does not happen to Webs customers but truthfully, it looks like that has happened.

This used to be a brilliant web host when we first joined in 2009 but over the past few years the quality of the site has gotten progressively worse and worse. For some reason changes are taking a very long time to show (literally up to a week on some occasions) when a few years back they used to take seconds. Very frustrating since I've written all html from scratch and generally don't get everything perfect first time!
One thing I have noticed however is that social media accounts associated with this company (see Twitter and Facebook) haven't been active since the end of July 2017. In addition to this, all replies from Webs to negative reviews on this site were posted before that date.
One has to ask...are they still in business?

If I could I would give Webs.com ZERO stars
They have gone from a half decent hoster at reasonable prices (still useless support) many years ago to a hoster that is far more expensive, less features and still woeful support
AVOID AT ALL COSTS - see my review below for more details -
I raised a support ticket 48 hours ago regarding a problem and replied to the email from Webs support 11 hours ago. I have now submitted 6 requests to their support
THE PROBLEM STILL REMAINS.........and I;m into 72 hours now since I contacted their 'support'
i still have other web sites with Webs but are now very seriously considering hosting them all elsewhere
Webs support has always been woeful in trying to resolve
issues both in terms of time and resolution Initially (many years ago) the hosting cost was cheaper and the hosting had more useful build qualities. They are not cheap any more and you now have to pay a lot extra to get chat support
My experience is based upon having hosted (and still have hosted with them) several web sites for longer than 10 years
Tip for consumers: My tip for people thinking of using Webs is simple - DON'T - unless you want to waste lots of time and more money

Everything was okay until we upgraded to a premium account in order to get the extra storage. Now the Calendar does not update through to the upcoming Events on the Home page. Despite several tries, Customer support has been useless. Have paid for a worse service!

moved to wix and have not looked back since. I think this company has given up on itself and is trying to hold on to dear life by extremely thin threads. The customer support is ok but sometimes they take weeks to reply, however they were very prompt in helping me move away to wix - ironically, so 2 stars instead of 1.

My site has been down for months and despite contacting them on numerous occasions nothing has changed. I'm not alone go to their forums and there are pages of people complaining about them. I can't load photos or update my site so I've paid for a site that is useless.

Too much down time, their servers are down way too much.
Lack of development, actually no development and no updates to their builder.
Beware of automatic billing, when your subscription is due to run out. Better off turning it off as they will charge you full whack, whilst half price offers are on if you do it manually. Then you have to chase them up to get a 50% refund which is a pain.

It all started to go downwards as soon as they dropped "free" from their name.. The editor became very limited, and no new features ever since. You can't even add HTML anymore to your website.
But worst of all was.. they REMOVED all of my "web coins" (2000) from my account. They were worth around 50 euro, and they just removed it without any warning upfront or without any refund. This is just stealing....

I have been with Webs many years and pay for an Ad free package. Over the years, the features and support for this package have been eroded. Often services are reduced without any prior notice.
There have been ongoing problems with form submissions and email blasts. Despite numerous complaints by many people, the problems are not resolved and there are precious few updates or communications from webs.com
It has become a very poor and unreliable platform to operate from and certainly I would not consider paying more for less.
