Planning the trip through email exchanges with Niccolo was a pleasure and resulted in a perfect combination of places, activities and services for our age (70+), our chosen dates and at a reasonable price. Their excellent booklet, tailor-made for our trip, included local tips and links to help us plan our free time. During the trip itself, constant contact with Jenny on WhatsApp provided us with comfort and security and opportunities to make little changes as needed. The accommodations were, overall, well chosen. Transfers worked almost perfectly (1 minor glitch). Three of 4 guides ("Wanderings") were outstanding in their knowledge and interpersonal skills.

I realized that there many more things to do in Venice beyond the gondola ride, St. Mark’s Cathedral or adoring the Venetian masks.

I went to the oldest library in Venice, an oar making workshop, glass making workshop, tasted tiramisu, local market.

We stayed in Venice some years ago, but this time with wandejkack we have seen another city, an unknown Venice ( mostly an accessible Venice, I travel with my wheelchair )
We enjoyed so much walking with our local jack who was prepared and also funny.
We also enjoyed the boat sailing, tasting very good and unknown (for us) typical Venice street food and drinking glasses of wine " in Venice ombra "
Our local guide Francesca has become our italian friend . She satisfied all our needs and was always available . We really wish to travel again with Wanderjack during next winter or spring to see Sicily , because our experience was very satisfactory and without jack's suggestions we wouldn't have seen all those beutiful and special places or tasted those special typical dishes and wines.

I immediately had a good feeling about wanderjack... And my instincts never fail me! I had been looking for a while to find an organised tour which could combine fun and culture without being one of those prepacked boring family holidays... And Wanderjack provided me exactly what I wanted... Showing my children how to travel (without worrying too much) and and the beauty of coming back home richer on spirit and knowledge... It's priceless when your child tells you " I also wanna be a Jack when I grow up!!!" Great guides, great organisation, great fun! Totally recommended and will repeat the experience with other destinations!

Wanderjack deliver on their mission: to provide a real local experience, off the beaten track and create memories for you that will last a lifetime. We had the pleasure of having Wanderjack arrange experiences for us (we area family 2 adults & 2 children) in Venice and Verona and they were incredible. My daughter and I enjoyed a morning making a venetian mask and our children enjoyed a treasure hunt through the streets and canals of Venice. In Verona we were treated to a magical morning with a mosaic artist learning her craft and having our own try as well as a food tour of Verona. To have a local, guide you along your holiday and to fully immerse yourself in a true travel experience is simply what travelling is all about. Thank you to Elena and the Wanderjack team.

I went on a biking tour with Wanderjack. Their Local Jack, Fabio, showed us how beautiful Lido is. He showed us amazing landscapes, a lovely beach bar and much more. It was great to escape the hustle from the center for a few hours. On my next trip I will book with them again.

An excellent experience on my first day in Venice was to explore Venice like a local with Wanderjack. Venice is famous for Gondolas, but during my Sailing Bacaro Experience with Wanderjack, I found out about the many other kinds of boats prevalent in Venice,some of which are going out of production. I got to learn how to row a traditional boat, exploring the canals in the Cannaregio district, while helping an association working towards restoration of these boats and making more people aware and involved.My local Jack met me at the beginning of the experience, giving me an introduction to the city and then we met up at a local Osteria right after the rowing, where we savoured some Cicchetti and wine while sitting on a boat. I loved how personal this whole experience was, customized to what we liked and our preferences. I also loved the fact that they work towards responsible and sustainable tourism and I would certainly recommend booking an experience with them.
