The customer service employee at the live chat was really helpful and tried hard to help me. I have not seen such dedication in a long time with servicedesk people, great job! VPN was also good, with good steady connections around the globe.

Support is useless. System unintuitive. Don't waste your time. Got an email to tell me my email address had been changed. First they claimed they couldn't find my account. Then they sent me a password reset link which I followed and filled in email address, new password and repeat password. It failed. Apparently I wasn't supposed to fill in the email field! What? Why not? Why put it there if I'm not supposed to fill it in. So they wanted me to delete all my cookies. Don't they realise how much inconvenience is caused by removing cookies. So they sent me a new reset link and I tried on a different browser on a different operating system and a different device. I left out my email address as per last instruction and guess what ‐ it failed. Utter joke.

My term with Golden Frog's VyprVPN was due for renewal July 31, 2020 but today, 9 months early, they charged my paypal account the renewal fee with no warning and no justification. They are stalling me in terms of a refund despite me giving all the appropriate documentation. One uses a VPN to protect yourself, but who knew that you need to protect yourself from the VPN company improperly charging your Paypal account.
Unacceptable and slimy behavior.
Their communication is almost non-existent - they did not disclose the duration of the service and when they would be billing - they claimed to invoice but no invoice was received and I checked my spam folder. Just really poor communication for a company supposed to be about security. They handled this terribly!

Money back guarantee is a fraud. Canceled basically immediately because their app crashed instantly. Five weeks later - still no refund. Don't ever buy services from this company.

After 2 years with a VPN service provider, I wanted a faster service. I chose VyprVPN. SIgning up should be simple, give payment credentials and I should be up and running soon, right?
Not really. VyprVPN accepted my payment, but when I tried to login to my account, this captcha asked me to click on the squares with chimneys. There were no chimneys but I clicked on something that looked like one, expecting another shot if I got it wrong. So that was wrong and I had to enter my log on again, but this time when I clicked the box for the captcha, the logon fields were cleared, I put them in again, and clicking the captcha box cleared them again.
So I go to the support chat, and explain my situation. The supoort agent told me to try another browser. I have Safari, which Im sure is one of the top three browsers. Why would they build a webpage that is incompatible with Safari?
So my question is if they cannot write code to allow new customers to sign up easily, how robust is their privacy software. Perhaps it was written by someone else, and works perfectly, but I will never know that. I ended up getting a subscriptio with a competing VPN service provider. They said I would get my refund in 7 days, we shall see.

Good service, just wish some sites wouldn't block their IPs. Support is helpful but not really personable. I foolishly enacted my 30 day refund months back to try another provider that ended up having more issues with blocked IPs and poor Netflix streams. My refund was fast, but they've got my money again. The 2nd times the charm right?

VyprVPN has the smoothest-sailing and most secure connections that a VPN client has to offer. The premium service is excellent and I primarily use this to access geo-blocked content but my family from overseas can use it simultaneously while I'm using it. No logs, less hassle and errors, I can say it will be my go-to VPN client for years ahead.

I received this VPN account through HumbleBundle last year because I bought a bundle of programs off them, for a copy of Camtasia, I tried the VPN out of curiosity not not realising that it had an auto-renewal payment option enabled.As I already had a VPN service, I didn`t make much use of it.
(& I was not really intending to renew it, as I didn`t feel I would use it enough, being already subscribed to another VPN service).
I recently noticed that a payment of £45 had appeared in my paypal account auto-renewing the service for 12 months, so I contacted Golden Frog asking if the auto-renewal could be disabled so I did not pay automatically next year. (I prefer to decide about subscriptions at the time of renewal).
They replied quickly and told me that the only way was to cancel the account, but in the E-mail they ALSO offered to refund me.
This was most welcome as many services would have made this option difficult for me.
I took the option as I was already happy with my existing VPN service but I was impressed with the fact that Golden Frog were good enough to offer the refund.
Credit where credit is due,- I am happy to recommend Golden Frog based purely on the level of customer service, I must add that although I didn`t use the service much, I found the software easy to install and use, and the actual speeds and connection times were on a par with my existing VPN.
I will certainly consider using them when my existing service is due for renewal. Good customer service is everything.

Based on positive reviews, I tried VyprVPN's risk free trial. As is customary amongst many providers, they charge your credit card on enrollment. The IP address assigned geolocated to three different countries, apparently had not completed transition. My streaming traffic was blocked for in-country restriction., Contacting support was no help of course so I canceled the service. Three inquiries and several weeks later, no refund. Doing my part to inform the public. Buyer beware.

I've been using VyprVPN for 2 years and I was overall happy with it, until I found out they have NO customer support. I received an automated email stating that "The charge for yur VyprVPN subscription unfortunately failed" and asking me to log in "to update your information".
As I had never changed my account/payment details and the previous 2 payments went OK, I emailed VyprVPN's support on August 22 to ask what exactly the issue was. I again receive an automated email saying "A Support agent is reviewing your request and will respond to you as soon as possible."
Needless to say that I received no reply whatsoever, even though I tried to contact them again on August 26. As of today, August 28 (so a week later), still no reply, but I received yet another automated email saying that the second charge attempt had failed and that my account would be locked if the third charge attempt would fail the day after. I've now tried to update the payment info somehow, but I'm still in the dark as to what's happening since Paypal confirmed the payment but cancelled the (previous?) payment agreement.
I can only imagine that VyprVPN is a one- or two-person company with no actual support team. If this is the case, they shouldn't claim that "Our support staff is here 24x7x365 to provide expert and timely support."
They don't seem to care to lose customers for trivial issues like this.

Unbelievable company. I have tried they VPN maybe two years a go. It was very hard to cancel the subscription and it still is. Very hard to get support to answer to you in the first place. Service is slow and unhstable at least here in Finland. The hole companny is piece of crap. Don´t try it, NEVER!

VyprVPN is a very normal VPN I have ever seen. Maybe GoldenFrog is a company which is concerned about privacy; they have zero knowledge DNS, no log and chameleon protocol. Unfortunately, the performances of VyprVPN in IOS should be improved. Many users appeal OpenVPN protocol, but developers have never seen requisite of users. Shame on you!

I canceled the service on the day of purchase. I requested a refund but the customer service kept evading my question regarding refund. After 3 times asking him the same question, he said that he needs the reason for the refund to begin the refund process. I have pointed out the reason for cancellation when I canceled the service: connection trouble. What else do you want to know? At the end, the customer service guy was just saying that he would escaleted my request to the lv II Support Team and he ended our live chat quickly. Can't you just guarantee me the exact refund time? You're just wasting my time and I have totally lost my patience. Scammer!

I purchased VyprVPN VIP service for 2 years, but the connection is very unstable, and I can't use it for more than half hour and then would disconnected. Followingly i submitted refund apply, 2 weeks passed, support just told me their team lead is busy, no answer on processing deadline time, and supporter Kyle close session directly, and following set live chat offline. Really terrible support.
Really need to do more thinking before purchase VyprVPN service, especially users in China.
