Vile threatening phone calls
October 2018 I sent a check for protection services for 3 years service. I receive threatening phone calls almost every day from many different phone numbers. Almost all from Sharen Patel. Some from a man named Alex. Demanding a check for $499.00 or I will be taken to court for fraud.

Paid 544.00 for computer protection and monitoring. Last week I got a call from a woman with an accent and said I would be receiving call. This is where Edward Smith comes in. He remotes into my computer and with horror has this page of military weapons. He catches his breath and ask if this belongs to me. Of course I was rattled. He then shows on my monitor San ugly Russian man who Eewardclaims is using my up address to purchase weapons. He says that for 4,000.00 he can get all this taken care of. It went down like a hostage situation after that. I’m upset, crying and then he instructs me to fill out four personal checks for 1000.00 each payable to U M Technology LLC with four different dates. He then. Instructed me to write authorization on four copies of my drivers license. Then logs into Fed Ex with my debit card to have them sent to vandama distrubutions LLC IN Spring Texas. He then remote scans the plain envelope I’m putting them in and then prints out two Fed Ex labels and instructs me to IMMEDIATELY take to Fed Ex store. While we’re on the phone his company is supposedly adding all this software. Thank goodness my husband said it sounded like a scam so I did not take to Fed Ex, stopped payment on all four checks and cancelled my debit card. After this I purchased PC Matic and hopefully they are getting this run down. In the meantime I contacted the FBI Cyber Security Team and filed a formal report. The next day I was indidated with at least 30 phone messages to call you hem, which I did not. I sent them hem a note telling them we thought it was a scam and no way to run a company. Also informed I filed a report against them. He left a vm threatening us with his legal department. I have been a wreck over this. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS COMPANY. They are deceitful and do not trust them.

Almost got scammed
My computer was hung up and I couldn't do anything about it. a message came up saying if you see this notice call 877 663-9441 which I did. First a man answered and then a woman with an accent. She claimed they were technologists for microsoft. She showed me all kinds of proof showing indeed they worked with microsoft. Near the end (it was a LONG call. I was told I could get computer protection from them for 3 months, 6 months or infinity. I chose the one costing $464. I was completely vulnable. Then supposedly worked on my computer to clean it up. The next morning I turned on my computer to find a page saying 13 incidents had been found. I called the number posted on the screen and a woman answered and she did not mention name of company. She took my name and told me she could see I had worked with a technition the night before, but could not process the account because some information was left out. I hung up and was thankful I did. I had had my suspicions.
my first instinct was right - it was a scam.
