This company makes up all kinds of stories about their wine. Even tho all have unique labels, None of the wineries actually exist and all the corks are blanks. Some wine is good some is terrible. I would have appreciated honesty about their wines rather than all the games they played before I had to fight with them to cancel unapproved shipments and charges to my credit card. Spend the money at your local store instead.

Do not be enticed by the seemingly ”lucrative” offers from Vinesse. Avoid doing any business with them! To put it bluntly, Vinesse’s business model is based on fraud. Their Customer Service is terrible and moreover, virtually unreachable. Furthermore, the quality of most of their wines ranges from bad to mediocre.
As a result, I canceled my membership after the initial delivery of wine because I didn’t like its quality. Six months later, my husband responded to Vinesse’s offer and authorized delivery of 8 bottles of wine for a total cost of $40 (using my name, which was already in their system). There was no opportunity to review or confirm the shipment nor any other records/notification of the charges. To my surprise, the next day I received an email welcoming me to Vinesse, and my account was charged for $120! Vinesse renewed my membership without sending me notice and charged an unauthorized amount from my credit card, also without notifying me of new charges.
I was unable to reach their customer service by phone, but finally someone responded via chat. In short, I was told that I could not cancel the order because it was “in process”. Upon delivery, I did not accept the shipment and but was still charged for the shipping.
I have seen some similar complains on the blog, it means that this deceptive strategy is their standard practice. It looks like their business model is tricking and deceiving their customers, extortion. If they wish to make changes to the payment authorized by a customer, they MUST at least notify their customers about their intentions and update the order before its review. They should provide an opportunity to review and confirm an order so that customers can cancel or modify it, as any normal online company would do.
I am in a process of disputing their charges with my credit card company and certainly, not a Vinesse’s customer.
Avoid doing any business with them!

You did not cash my check to enter me into your club. Rather you asked for a credit card. So I cancelled the "start up" of shipments and received a confirmation #, so I am not enrolled, nor do I want to be at this time. Please remove my e-addy from ALL future mailings. Thank you. Doris

The customer service provided by this company was exceptional. They are very attentive and will bend over backwards to help out.
I ordered the wine online and wanted to cancel right away, was put on hold for 20mins, as soon as I got connected, the agent told me it's been an hour since I placed the order which was only 30mins, and they said there's nothing they can do to stop the shipping, but i can refuse the shipment but they will refund minus the shipping and 15% of restocking fee. I've never been through an experience that I can't cancel within 30mins. and the agent were lying about the time. it's totally a fraud. after 5 days they still havne't even ship it.

The only issue I have on my last 6 bottle shipment is that I received 2 identical bottles of win. they gave me a $26 credit.

2nd order, I did not want but didn't worry as they said they send an email 1 week prior to shipping it.
Never received the email but I did receive an email letting me know my order shipped. I immediately contact customer service where I was told it's too late and once its in the system, it's in the system.
The wine actually didn't ship for another 2 days after that!
The website shows nothing about how to return wine if you don't want it.
Sure, miscommunication happens but no reason for any of this.
Hopefully, when they are open, I can get a response. I didn't care for the first order of wine and definitely won't care for the 2nd.
